    Which game mode are you using? Original, Real World or Your World? I guess Real World, but he should have moved in July not at the end of the window. A bit odd he was still in your squad. Maybe a bug?

    Have you brought him back on a trial? The fact that his name is in green seems to indicate that or as what was already said he's back for a testimonial. Are you able to play him in league games?

    Try negotiating a few times and they'll eventually agree or give up. It's annoying when you keep have to negotiate but it works.

    I do but it's a little difficult to explain on here if you have no experience using the editor. You'd be better of searching for a file that someone has created to with promotion/relegation implemented.

    If you are actively applying for jobs and not even getting an interview that's not normal, especially with the success you've had. I'd try reporting this in the bugs forum and see if you can get an answer there.

    I see, I can't really say for this edition but the more successful I have been at a top club the less offers I received. On last year's edition I managed Anderlecht on one save and dominated Europe and was hardly ever approached for another top-level job. I've had other saves where I overachieved and kept receiving offers to jump ship to another club. It could be a bug but I'm not sure sorry. You could actively try applying for other jobs that interest you.

    Are you unemployed or employed? Also how many nations do you have loaded?

    It's a common theme in the game. If you are managing at a club that doesn't need the money just let them, go out to get some playing experience.

    To get a bit more insight what are your coaching qualifications and your managers level of experience?

    As snowofman says, you would have to uninstall and reinstall the game. It's best not to mess with the folders, just save them somewhere they are safe.

    A good point. What maybe slow for someone may not for someone else. I'm going to try a database that takes me down to 1 or half a star and see how it goes.

    Yeah, not very reliable at all. This year's game is defiantly faster than last year, it's great to see. Think I'll do the same and just totally ignore the stars from now on.

    Anyone else find the star rating for game speed unreliable? On previous editions i'd always keep to 3 / 3 and a half stars. This year however I've let it drop to two with a database of around 90,000 and over 20 nations loaded. Speed wise it's just as quick or if not quicker than previous version even with the extra load. If I'm playing on two stars yet it's breezing through the season, what is the point of the stars?

    I find the press conferences at times meaningless, repetitive and a waste of time. I just hand them over to my assistant now and ignore them. I highly recommend doing the same.

    I'm not using a newgen face pack but am using faces, logos, backgrounds, etc. I just checked the graphics folder size and its over 50GB so that must be the reason for the long loading screen. I never thought of that. Thanks for letting me know.

    Hi, I tried both but no luck. Deleting the cache made no difference and removing the files from the movie folder just caused the game to crash. Thanks for trying though. It's weird its only FM that is like this.

    Thanks for the reply. Is this what you mean? I always have it ticked and just refresh it when I update the kits/graphics. I've tried with it unticked and the loading screen is just as slow.

    Hi guys, Anyone else's loading screen painfully slow? Takes me a good minute to get from the loading screen to the start screen. The game plays perfectly fine but for some reason it's just the loading page that is slow.

    No unless you go into the editor and add them yourself.

    Don't think you can. I have the same issue and I'm using game pass too. I think it's a bit hit and miss. Some games were added automatically while others weren't. Even a scan for games does nothing.

    You can add the league through the editor, that's how I added the missing South American leagues. If you're not sure how to do it in the editor, you can search online for a file that someone created to unlock the league.
