    It's not supposed to be a pen if the defender goes to ground and hits his supporting arm. However, it's gone through his legs and he's put his arm behind himself, denying a clear goal scoring opportunity. Objectively, idk if that technically should be a pen, but subjectivity, I don't think the defender can have many complaints for a pen being given there.

    Seems like the early ball into space for Nunez is on, if Uruguay's midfield would show more interest in the game than kicking Portuguese players.

    I don't think there's any lack of appreciation for Neymar's ability as a footballer. People not liking Neymar is another matter, separate from, although, exacerbated by his ability as a footballer.

    I think more teams would be fine, with a better format, but three-team groups is absolutely moronic.

    I admittedly forgot Gundogan was playing until he came off, which happened at the same time as Fullkrug and Sane coming on, and Musiala shifting inside. (And not long after Spain brought Koke on).
