We had such a comfortable draw in the Euros and it was the same with the world cup yet we lost to an okay Croatia, Southgate makes England very hard to watch.

Roger Milla dancing or Seaman flapping at Ronaldinho's free kick immediately come to mind when I think of world cups.

Probably another semi or final with a lucky draw and we get another 4 years of dull football.

I've not voted as I won't be buying it because it's on game pass. If it wasn't on game pass I very much doubt I'd be buying it as I already have a copy of FM22 and I usually only buy a new PC version every 2-3 years.

I was given an earring too and it's fairly simple to remove whether creating a new or editing an existing profile. Edit your profile, click on the accessories tab, click on earring none then immediately select ok and ignore the left or right ear option. I think the confusion is that when you click earring none it then asks you to select what ear (left or right) and if you select an ear rather than just pressing ok the earring doesn't get removed, hopefully that's all clear and helps.

Holland beat England in the final on mine but I noticed that Germany were greyed out and knocked out in the 2nd round so I've started again but with the fix.

Not that it helps at all but Epic games were actually giving FM22 away for free in September.

Yeah, I probably meant PSG and was guessing Barcelona had a better points total tbf plus in my head they finished 2nd haha. The points I made remain though, the format is much better now and there will be a better spread of games with the better teams going through deservedly rather than as can happen now and getting through courtesy of a fortunate draw.

I like the new format, I think it'll help the cream rise to the top and it negates weak 4 team groups too. If this season was one big table then Liverpool and PSG would have finished in the top 8 of the CL table and been seeded for the KO rounds and the same for Man Utd in Europa, it's a much better format with a wider variety of games imo. The two extra CL spots are allocated to the two highest ranked teams (based on co-efficients) who have not qualified for the CL but have qualified for Europe, therefore it's really no surprise those teams are coming from those nations.

I hope the youth players across the game are better this season as FM22 was the worst I've ever known it. I load a large db and retain high rep players worldwide then run about 10 nations for a long term save. I always enjoy scouting and recruiting young players but on FM22 after about 10 seasons there seemed to be a real lack of youth talent in my game, I'm hoping FM23 is better for youth talent.

That was me and that was when the queue was 2.6 miles long for a while and then it dropped to 2 miles long. Since then it has blown out of proportion so there is no chance I'm going now, I struggle with queues and usually take my sister to stand in lines for me but she hates the monarchy 😔 Most of this thread thought queuing was creepy yesterday from what I read and now a celebrity queues it's applause Do you think he was genuinely being morbid and creepy? (My view) I do not. What about the rest of the queue and celebs, no beef with them or just Becks? I think it's fantastic on all their parts and I'm slightly jealous that I don't have the stamina to queue for over 3 hours.

Funny how people's takes are so different, ours are very opposite. I feel like the people bowing to the coffin are unsure what to do and are just copying others they've seen bow previously and that all looks very odd and not genuine to me. Others wandering through looking gormless as you say is what I'd expect though as that's how I'd expect myself to be but that's because of the sense of occasion and history, I'd be deep in my thoughts and contemplating the scale of it all therefore looking more gormless but really feeling everything.

I agree. I've seen the streams and loads of media coverage but I wish I had the strength, stamina and patience to queue up. I also don't understand why people here are saying it's creepy, I'd imagine those people are the epitomy of creepiness and a reason live streams are created but for me it's an historic moment and to be able to see the scale of it with my own eyes even for a few seconds and feel the occasion would be something I'd never forget. If the queue goes under 1.5 miles at any point then I'll be joining it for sure.
