  1. You can try changing the version in skin_config.xml to 22.0.0. I can say with almost 100% certainty there will be things that are broken - either because they relate to things that are new from FM23 onwards, the underlying code changed since, or things have been removed.
  2. I love the Squad Planner. Mainly because I can have players in the order I consider to them to be, not the "opinion" of a staff member. The added icons that a player is a starter in another position is very helpful when considering my permutations as well. I appreciate I might be in the minority.
  3. Notice for FM24 Firstly, thank you all for the support over the last year. Mustermann23 had 90,000 downloads which, quite frankly is mind-boggling (of course, it also had 21 updates, so there will be plenty of you who ended up downloading it multiple times - I am not going to pretend that is 90,000 users ) Due to work commitments, the FM24 version will not be released until late Novemeber - I will be targetting circa 20th November. There will only be a graphical version for FM24, as I am looking to better balancemy time in the upcoming year. I will create a new thread once there is progress to share. Peace and love, y'all.

  5. I doubt it, as FM doesn't simulate the extreme forms of timewasting to then require additional injury time.
  6. These are amazing! If you're thinking of clicking away without going to the site, you're making a mistake!! Every magazine is a great read - a mixture of insights, stories and occasional silliness.
  7. As it's the default league panel (as in the league table is the same setup as the one in the default skin), you'll need to extract the base game files and find team/team league table panel.xml. It's probably going to actually take you on a journey to a whole load of other panels to define the default view, but I'm not entirely sure, and currently in Italy away from my PC with the extracted files on it.
  8. I'm afraid not, as per the opening post: What's the deal with this MPGD skin? This is a preview build with my plans for FM24. As I've developed the skin over the year, there's a lot of things I've learnt and wanted to address that need bigger, structural back-end changes. This is my first step towards it, but it is unlikely to be completed before the next game drops (you know, having a life and all that). It is only available in dark mode and graphical, and in-game zoom settings must be at 100%.

GDPR requirements mean that it needs to be as easy to change your cookie preferences as it was to make them in the first place - meaning it needs to be present on the page, and can't be hidden under a user settings menu, for example, because not everyone who uses the site will register as a member. They could probably get away with a link in the footer, though.
  10. I literally explained why in the following sentence, but just to be clear I said "more players", not "all players" or "most players". Of course there will be players with low speed and low acceleration. Apologies for the crude graph. If, as per @FrazT's comment that "Acceleration is how fast they can get to top speed and pace would be that top speed" (a view that I believed, and is commonly suggested), then Orange would have the highest acceleration, then blue, then green; as that is the order they reach their top speed. If it is linear, then orange and blue would have the same acceleration value, and green would be lower.
  11. That was my assumption, but... ...I would then expect to see more players with very low pace having relatively high acceleration. If two players ran at the same m/s rate until they hit their top speed, the player with a considerably lower top speed would reach it earlier (obviously in game situations there are other factors, such as agility, stamina, etc...). Which leads me to think that acceleration would determine the curve, whilst top speed determines the plateau. Sadly, I can't find a definitive answer on the topic, nor do I think there is a way to easily test within the game itself.
  12. A simple question: Is acceleration linear or relative? E.g. Two players with 15 acceleration, but different pace. In a 10-yard sprint, would one be ahead of the other, or would they be level?
  13. I'm not sure what to call them either As I said, I don't know if it's possible to change the colour of those whatever-you-call-thems. Nothing jumps out immediately looking at the code; might be controlled graphically, but will take digging and time. I can see them very clearly, but guessing by JustHowie responding and not saying they are clearly there either, that I must be the only one who can see them. Maybe I've just used the skin so much it's second nature!!
  14. My guess is you can't see the circles I've highlighted here? If that's the case, my guess is that I have my monitor on a higher brightness than everyone else I don't know if there is a way of changing the colour of the indicators of empty positions, but I'll have a look when I get the time.
  15. No, I created it for the Sampdoria save. If (and it's a big if at the moment) I release another update it will be included. Along with the Green & Gold I used for the South Africa video. They will however, only work with MPGD, as the beta skin has a significantly different structure/settings set up that allows for a wider palette.
  16. Nothing has changed in the skin that would impact Instant Result - so that guide from Jellico should be sufficient. Make sure you reset cache before you reload the skin.

  19. No it doesn't. @yakus has made a version himself, adding in the layout from Mustermann23 Numerical Dark, and kindly posted the link above.
  20. Make sure you've turned off cache before you reload the skin. Afterwards you'll need to close FM, and reopen it, as there are changes to the properties files that will only be loaded when FM is opened (not when a skin is loaded). Also at the moment, MPGD is beta and only works at 100% zoom (both game and Windows settings)
