  1. @kopfan1977 Amazing results! I take it you won the FA cup first season? Will you post the tactic?
  2. That's not the problem, that's the solution. I've just got a team promoted to league two and have turned professional. If it wasn't for those workarounds then I wouldn't have been able to afford anyone good enough.
  3. Yes similar for me. Extremely frustrating. Don't have get stuck in or tackle harder on, no need for it. I wish my players would stop with the moronic tackles.
  4. Do you have any tips how to get players for cheaper wages? Any decent player I find wants wages of £1k+, I only have a budget of £12k. Loans all want 80% of wages. Very frustrating!
  5. Actually I think two points in six months is incredibly good. If I can get any attribute to go up one point in a year I'm delighted.
  6. How on earth did you win the premiership with Dartford by 2031!?! I'm trying the dafuge challenge with Truro city and only just got promoted to league two in 2030. 🤬
  7. Absolutely! I will definitely not be buying anymore Football Manager games until this update is released.
  8. This exactly. I'm very happy with FM23 as it is. I'm pretty sure the "game is broken/unplayable" crowd are going to be disappointed whatever is in the patch. I'm really not sure what they are expecting.
  9. Why is your asinine comment getting so many likes? Absolute state of the people that frequent these forums.
  10. The only way those players are going to achieve their dream of playing at the Olympics is by winning the qualifiers.
  11. I usually go with whoever will pay the most money.
  12. Is this a joke? My strikers couldn't find the goal even with the help of a very detailed map.
  13. It's situations such as this which make the in game editor an essential purchase.
  14. And the most annoying thing is when you find a player who is a small improvement to your squad, who is willing to talk to you but his wage demands are too much. Then you have to keep going back to him every two weeks until he lowers them. All the while no other team is interested. I really wish they would do away with the refusal to enter talks after they break down. It may be somewhat realistic (I don't know) but it's frustrating and a waste of time.
  15. Really? I'm finding that as a lower league team (or top tier team in a very low rep league) it takes a lot of looking to find players that can improve my squad. I can find them but it takes a lot of time.
  16. That seems logical, however I imagine that file also affects young players being selected more by the AI. It's probably worth it to make it harder to hold on to young talent if it means 37 year old Raheem Sterling stops being the best player on the planet.
  17. Are you able to disclose which of the files affect keeping talented players at smaller clubs. I can't work it out from reading the OP. I'm keen to use files which encourage AI youth development and quicker old player decline, however I'm finding the game hard enough to have success with and would rather not make it more of a challenge.
  18. I wonder if it would make more sense to do away with the roles and just have player instructions. I imagine that would be closer to how a real manager divulges his instructions to his players.
