brettney1980
June 8th 2013 - Home vs Malta. The Romani Manager decided to rest the 5 players already on bookings (Grant, Arzu, Bard, Ferguson and Cortes) and with the 2 players suspended (Vailatti and Romane) that left the lineup looking weaker than it has for awhile but they showed pure class and left the fans feeling in 7th heaven with a 7-0 victory with Guaril and Sanchez both hitting a brace, and "Youth Watch" player Maurizio Marras and Adam Clatworthy getting their first for the National side. Lineup: http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo302/brettney1980/homevsmaltalineup.jpg?t=1241116350 Match stats: http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo302/brettney1980/homevsmalta.jpg?t=1241116622 Player stats: http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo302/brettney1980/homevsmaltaplayers.jpg?t=1241116701 June 12th 2013 - Home vs Ukraine. It was all change for the Ukraine match with 4 players coming in and i'm sure the manager would of had a few more changes in mind if it wasn't for the performances being so good against Malta. The good form continued with a very good 2-0 victory against Ukraine with the only downside being a booking for Liam Ferguson meaning he will now miss the next game away vs Poland. brettney1980
7th September 2013 - Away vs Poland. What with a few Injurys I.E a New Romani citizen Marc Francoli (a few weeks), Haowan Madridstas (Broken Leg - 6 months) and Boyan Tabakov (2 weeks) and Buck Naked Mariano Cano, and Lawrence Lazewski all not being match fit after being released by there clubs in the summer and add to those Liam ferguson being suspended the Poland game came a little too early for us and we ended up losing 2-1 in a just result. A much better game helped by the sending off of an Iceland player but all in all we have to be happy with the 3-0 scoreline and even happier that Ukraine managed to do what we couldn't and beat Poland 1-0 putting us into 2nd place with 2 games to go (unfortunately 1 is against Croatia). Just a real shame we couldn't get a draw against Poland would of been better being 3 points above them with our superior goal difference.

brettney1980
Am I wanted by any clubs? Lawrence Lazewski has signed for Derby County in the Championship. Buck Naked has signed for Ponferradina (Yes the club thats been signing alot of Romani players). Same for me, or at least anyone interested? No one at the moment. How long do you think it will take for me to leave the Pheonix? You seem quite settled, your already impressed with a player there ... I'll predict 1 Full season. brettney1980
October 12th 2013 - Away vs Croatia. Well a draw was the target and thanks to goals in the first half by Nigel Sanchez and Dougal Grant we went in at half time 2-0 up. The second half unfortunately went how everyone had expected before the game and Croatia banged in a couple of goals making it 2-2 at full time, which to be honest we can be very happy with, although star midfielder Harve Melia got himself a second booking of the campaign meening he'll miss the Malta game. Whoopy D
Impressive draw with Croatia and with only Malta to play we should clinch 2nd place. There is that thing about not counting chickens though.....
brettney1980
October 16th 2013 - Away vs Malta. A win would be enough to keep us in second (baring Poland winning 10 +more than we beat Malta by) and a win we delivered beating the Maltese 4-0 meaning we put 11 goals without reply past them this Qualifying campaign. Well we did what was needed and still got bad news ... We finished bottom of the second place table meaning we don't enter the playoff's and our campaign is over. 2nd place table: http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo302/brettney1980/worldcupqual2ndplacefinal.jpg?t=1241450618
