I'll be at home until Monday night so I'm available to play tomorrow evening and Monday evening. Then I'll be off the rest of the week once again. I've been changing tactics 3 or 4 times and my defense has been weak. After selling Angel during last session I had some problems finding someone to bang in the goals. Actually the only thing that has kept me alive is my fantastc midfield: Joe Cole - Juan Roman Riquelme - Bojan Djordjic - Joost Broerse who have been performing and scoring goals for fun. To get someone who can score goals I decided to go for Nigerian international star Julius Aghahowa. He cost me a club record of £19.25m to be payed over 24 months. This also made me find a new palying style for my team and I decided that because my defense was leaking I should play with 4 defenders insted of 2 or 3 as I'd done before. Nuno is still top of the league and he has only lost 1 game in it, he is still in FA cup and the UEFA, where he drew his first leg of the 4th round which he played at home agaisnt PAO. Kev is the biggest surpise in the league as we currently find him on a 3rd place, 8 points behind me and 4 point ahead of Arsenal. He will play Mike's Villa in the FA quarters. John is doing quite well at times but his team is do damn inconsistant, I mean going from beating Liverpool away 3-0 and then losign the next game 6-1 against Kev's WBA is quite cool he is 12th in the league. We still find John in the UEFA and he beat Monaco 2-0 in the first leg of the 4th round. Still in FA cup quarters where he will face 1 Derby. Steve has been doing quite well, he founds himself in a 7th place in the league only 3 points from european footy next season. He has been knocked out of all cups though. Steve accidentaly signed a contract with Arca that had a minimum fee release-clause of £11m and ofcourse I tried to lure him to my team but he wouldn't even negotiate I think that was good though as Steve would have hated me even more if I'd taken his star Mike is heading for auto-promotion, with 10 games to go he is 6 point to a autop promotion place finding himself on a 3rd place. Still in FA cup quarters. Alex was doing great but for some reason his promotion bid seems to be collapsing. When he broke into the team his performances were good but never superb. A good start was needed and that is exactly what we got. 2 great victories against Gillingham and Arsenal to get my players on a high were excellent. Then we were to play Mr Luck himself (Nuno) and as it was the luck was on his side with being down to 10 men he managed to get 2 goals and win 3-2 He only ever put his assistant on against me because he knows that is the only way he will win Next up were Peterborough and we made easy work of them running out to a easy 4-0 victory We went to St James park in high spirits and as it proved we were to come away in the same spirits winning easily 2-0 That game was to prove to be the start of Forláns hot streak which is still continuing We then won 2 tough games at home to Liverpool and Leeds with Forlán getting 2 and Williams getting 3. We then went on to suffer only our second defect to a good West Ham team now that they have a decent manager but yet again Forlán managed to get on the score sheet. 2 1-0 Victories followed with Forlán getting the goals against Notts Forest and Southampton. Then what was to prove to be the last game of the session was to be the best to give me sweet dreams last night John said in chat that he wanted to win so that he could sleep better. He always takes the pÃss out of my team and I finally let it all out against his Poor Sheffield side We ran the show and got a deserved win maybe 6-1 was harsh but he had it coming to his because of his mouth Eadie got his first and second goals for the club Forlán hit number 17 for the season with Williams getting number 16 of his superb season. Overall the session keep getting better and I hope we can keep this form up till the end of the season as missing out on Europe would be very disappointing. Next game against Villa I am hoping for a win but I know Mike will have his men up for the challenge and it will prove to be a tough match. We lost 4-3 on aggregate to an impressive Middlesborough team in the League Cup Semi final.The 2nd leg at home was close but Middlesborough deserved to go through with the away goals they scored.
