Guest
FULHAM UPDATE The last session was a shining session for my side as usual. My Fulham team played 11 matches winning 7 and drawing 4. We didn’t lose a single match for Jone’s sorrow:D.In fact, to amplify that Finnish prÃck misery, Fulham played so far this season 42 matches winning 32, drawing 8 and losing just 2. Nuno’s boys scored 95 times conceding 27 goals only As a result, this session continued our run for glory collecting victories and humiliating my clan fellas FULHAM 2-2 LEEDS UTD (Kerr 70’,Mendonça 85’; Robbie Keane 21’71) Damn difficult these Leeds guys. We managed to have a draw after being down twice. After this game I noticed that we were experimenting some financial problems, you know it’s not easy to keep players happy in a club like Fulham who albeit being top of the league still don’t have the best of the reputations, so the only way to keep my best players happy at the Cottage is paying them unreal wages. In a long-term basis this makes things very difficult to our finances so we have no choice: we have to sell some players to keep things balanced. First selling of the session was Dennis Rommedahl who was sold to Mike’s Aston Villa. He was a good player in my team but not crucial (like Saha or Kerr, for instance). Knowing Mike’s esteem for wingers I asked if he would be interested in buying the Danish right-winger on a 3 million bargain which he promptly accepted. ARSENAL 0-3 FULHAM (Said 30,’Mendonça 33’,Kerr 45’) One of the glory moments of Nuno’s boys in this outstanding season. Not all teams can go to Highbury Park and score three on first half then take a nap on second half and return home with three points in the luggage. Despite all my players being shÃte (following Jone’s opinion) then came the deal that would keep my finances safe for the rest of the season. The two giants Liverpool and Manchester United were disputing my forward Jon Dahl Tomasson. When I first bought this Danish on a £ 4 million bargain, I was teased by our expertise : Jone because I was spending money on a CM underrated player and blah blah blah, but soon he shut up that rubbish mouth when started to bang them in game after game. Though JDT was an important player in my team, I couldn’t refuse two digits offers and it wouldn’t be wise also preventing him to move to a big big club like pool or utd. So the offers came in and the deal went through after Fulham and Man Utd agreed a £ 11.25 million deal. Goodbye Jon Dahl, you’ll be crowned champion too at the end of the season. LIVERPOOL 1-1 FULHAM 1 (Owen 45’; Mykland 42’) As playing in Anfield Road was not hard enough we attracted some sort of bad luck into our team in this game. Our captain Legwinski went off injured at 37th minute but five minutes later the experienced midfielder Mykland scored for the great joy of the many Fulham supporters who travelled to Anfield. : But then Michael Owen scored on last minute of first half. But the worse part was yet to come : As I made a sub at half-time, when Livermore came off injured at 59th minute things started to look bad because by that time I had to make my third and last substitution. Of course that some minutes later I had to have another player injured:mad:. This time it was the creative Zetterberg who came off at 67th minute leaving us with 10 players until the end of the game. The red devils then came with all their forces upon us but Nuno boys fought bravely until the final whistle blew and we got along with a precious point. That playing made me proud of my boys especially the super-reliable Chiotis:D FULHAM 3-0 SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY (Kerr 8’,26’,29’) Once upon ago, these Fulham vs. Weds matches were difficult, hard and emotive. But now that’s past. As you can confirm by the score sheet Mark Kerr scored a hat trick in the first half hour of the match and the rest of it was pure agony for John’s boys. If we wanted we probably could have scored another three but John is a good student and I am the teacher and I don’t want him to leave school so soon, so I let him go with only three in the bag. IPSWICH 0-4 FULHAM (Moukoko 15’64’,Kerr 37’,Antchouet 87’) Nothing much to say, an easy win against a pitiable side. FULHAM 3-1 WEST HAM (Fa Cup 5th Round) (Redknapp 30’,Antchouet 45’64’; Mpenza 84’) I was afraid of playing against West Ham since Mike resigned because now surely they would be at least a decent team not just a bunch of lads running around like mórons not knowing what to do. Anyway, because this is a long season and we’re involved in three competitions I made a line up with FTRs and some fringe players and it was the last ones who decided the game for us. When Mpenza scored his late goal that was just a consolation goal like the commentary said. FULHAM 2-0 WEST HAM (Kerr 34’,Moukoko 60’) Same opponent but it was a league game so I put in my best XI and the story was pretty much the same. Kerr and Moukoko put things where they should be from the start. There were rumours about some upsetting in Fulham’s dressing room after Nikos Dabizas told the media that he would like a move to Liverpool. Well my Greek friend, if you don’t like it here you’re free to go as long as the cashy cashy comes in to the Fulham bank account. Liverpool bid six million for the fool and immediately the transfer took place. There are ambitious young players in my reserve team waiting for a chance so this transfer was good in all aspects. FULHAM 0-0 PAO ( Uefa Cup 5th Round – Leg 1 ) To be honest I was expecting an easier match against the Greeks. Especially when one of there players were sent off at 16th minute. But maybe because we took it easy we didn’t get many scoring chances. I reckon it won’t be easy in Athens on 2nd leg. SOUTHAMPTON 1-1 FULHAM (Hartson; Mykland) I was so tired by this time that I can’t remember very well what happened. In resume, with the season heading to its latest stage we are five points ahead of the scúm:D and looking forward to win the title. We’re still in Fa Cup where we have a hard task at Elland Road. In Uefa Cup things don’t look easy too but I believe that my boys will show all their value in the second match against PAO. C ya tomorrow.

Guest
Before I go to bed, let me congratulate all the other clan mates, firstly for being great lads and contributing to the enjoyment and fun of this game and secondly because... <UL TYPE=SQUARE> *Jone (RomaAllTheWay) was 2nd in the leaague and won the League Cup with Middlesboro. *Kevin (Kevbest) was 3rd in the league with his WBA and will play the Fa Cup final against me. *Steve (Mackem) took Sunderland from being a pathetic side last season to a 7th place this season and will probably get a place in Uefa Cup. *John (Whitehart) for being in the Uefa Cup final where he'll play I can't remember who. *Mike (HL7) for having the guts to quit his West Ham job and take control of a Div One club (Aston Villa). He is promoted and he'll be back to the companion of the big boys next season. *Alex (The Toffeman) for geting a place in the Div One playoffs with his beloved Everton. He has all our support to win the playoffs and join us on the Premier. See you all tomorrow at 10pm for the last couple of matches of the third season. Jone
Although this season was quite good for me I am a bit disappointed, 2nd place is never bad especially not as Nuno had a strong run with his Fulham this season. I suffered a couple of stupid losses and draws which made me lose the essential points that I would have needed to challenge for the title. The league cup triumph may not sound very important but it gives me 30 points and besides the final of it was all but easy as we had to play ManU. The score was 2-2 after full time after tat **** Ruud Van Nistelrooy had scored twice, the last one on injury time . In the 104th minute however my recent signing Sonkoya scored on his debute after being substituted to replace Mihalis Konstantinou in the 90th minute During this season I really managed to strengten my team to a world class one, so next season should be succesful. I am expecting a CL semi final at least . Important signings I made this season are: Mihalis Konstantinou, Alex Pinardi, Julius Aghahowa, Ifeani Udeze, Neil Clement and Darren Purse. Theese players will surely be essential next season. This season has been succesful for all members, I'd especially want to congratulate Nuno who made a great season. Alex will hopefully be promoted as it is embarrassing to see him struggle in the First Division . Kev was probably the biggest surprise finishing 3rd with WBA, that is in my oppinion a great achievement . The only one who actually flopped in the league was John, but he made his season good with his fantastic cup runs. John mad the UEFA final and the semis in both the League and FA Cup Looking at the teams now my predictions for next season are: Nuno: 3rd in the league and a CL quarter final John: 7th in the league and a good cup run again Kev: 5th in the league and a 2nd group phase in th CL Mike: 6th place in the league, not a good cup run Steve: 4th in the league but still no good cup run Alex: 2nd in First Division after failing to win the playoff this season Jone (me ): 1st in the league and a CL semi no good domestical cup run

HL7
ASTON VILLA UPDATE Last night's session was ok I suppose. My Villa team acheived automatic promotion despite me leaving with 4 games to go. I think I could've won the league had I stayed for those games, but more important issues were at hand. In goals, Eleftheropolous (sp?) who has been fairly consistant throughout the season and is definately a premiership class goalie. He will definately be staying. Mark Delaney is an average right back and i will definately be listening to offers, anyway, I have Diego Gavillan to replace him next year. Frampton is a solid left back, and Middlesbrough can leave him to fúck alone Alpay is a good player, but his temprement outweighs his skills. He was recently banned for gesturing to the Grimsby crowd in a 2-1 win. This has made me decide to sell him, and offers of his asking price will be welcomed, Paul Robinson will replace him next year. David Hannah is another liability, he's not a player i'm desperate to sell however, but if anyone is interested i'm willing to talk. Jim Paterson has been outstanding since he signed in the left wing role, a definate starter next year (unless I can sign Bobby Petta ) Dennis Rommedahl has been another revelation since signing, and has been my side's biggest threat, a definate starter next year and was a steal at £3m. Attacking midfield will be a problem. Kuffour was a good player at first division level, but i'm not sure if he can cut it among the big teams, South Korea's Ahn is awaiting a work permit and will probably replace the Ghanian next year. Strikers will be fine for next year, I have Gary Hodge as backup, he's a 19 year old Englishmen who is a fantastic prospect for the future. Bosko Balaban is first choice striker, with another great prospect in Keigan Parker partnering him.

We played well and out shot Mike's Villa we could have been easily beaten but Forlán was still in his excellent form and continued to score after that we easily beat Ipswich 3-0 and the it was to the Replay against Mike. We managed to keep 11 men on the field and got a lucky Victory in a game that could have gone either way. I think Mike will be up in the top half of the table next season from what I have seen he has a excellent side and good luck to him for next season. Then came a trip to Tottenham which we easily won 2-0 and with it I got more backing from the board saying they are pleased with the team is performing at the moment. Then came the semi final against Chelsea. I was confident of winning this game as I am a better team in the cup that in the league. We easily beat Chelsea 4-1 with Strand getting a hat trick for the club and making me wake up a play him more often after I sign him for next to nothing he has been in the reserves for the whole season. Then came what was going to be the last league game against any of the Human managers. It was good to see that we beat Sunderland although we were very lucky getting the 3rd goal in the last minute The came what I would call the poorest result of the session the 0-0 draw with Leicester it was all West Brom attacking but the strikers couldn’t score and we drew 0-0 Then came a now manager less Chelsea who we managed to easy push aside with a great 3-0 victory we then went to wolves and won the black country derby against Wolves and at this stage we were almost certain to be walking away with 3rd place in the league then came the part of the session I want to forget with 2 losses in a row first of all Man Utd were too good for me and Kiely didn’t want to play so he walked away and let them score 3 goals we managed to strike back but couldn’t add a third and we were beaten 3-2 in what for the fans at least was a good game Then we went to Ewood park and lost again so we are in Great form going into the FA cup final where I think Nuno might hit 5 past me If we win at home to a poor Charlton side then we will be defiantly 3rd in the league but if we draw or lose and Arsenal win the they will take 3rd place from me I am confident of winning at home as long as we don’t suffer a big defeat against Nuno. It was good to see that we beat Sunderland although we were very lucky getting the 3rd goal in the last minute The came what I would call the poorest result of the session the 0-0 draw with Leicester it was all West Brom attacking but the strikers couldn’t score and we drew 0-0 Then came a now manager less Chelsea who we managed to easy push aside with a great 3-0 victory we then went to wolves and won the black country derby against Wolves and at this stage we were almost certain to be walking away with 3rd place in the league then came the part of the session I want to forget with 2 losses in a row First of all Man Utd were too good for me and Kiely didn’t want to play so he walked away and let them score 3 goals we managed to strike back but couldn’t add a third and we were beaten 3-2 in what for the fans at least was a good game Then we went to Ewood park and lost again so we are in Great form going into the FA cup final where I think Nuno might hit 5 past me If we win at home to a poor Charlton side then we will be defiantly 3rd in the league but if we draw or lose and Arsenal win the they will take 3rd place from me I am confident of winning at home as long as we don’t suffer a big defeat against Nuno.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE> Not sure if I made the paragraphs right but I hope it's better than the crap Kev had done
Guest
Although league form is still suffering the time I spent devoted to success in the cup competitions is paying dividens. I lost in both the league and FA Cup both by just 1 goal and really deserved to get to the finals, the worst thing about it is I lost to my fellow clan members Nuno and Jone in those semis and it was very hard to take. Revenge was acheved against Nuno(Fulham) with a 2 leg victory over him in the UEFA Cup semi final. The win was well deserved and after an awful season in the League everything is riding on winning a European Cup. See you all next session

If the Winners of the FA cup are already in Europe then the Runners up will get into the UEFA cup but in this case Nuno was the runner up so it will make 7th place a automatic UEFA place. Well that is what would happen IRL but i dunno if it will in our game. Also 8th place might well get into the UEFA as the same happend in the League Cup you may well be in the Inter Toto John but i dont think you will be in the UEFA unless you qualify through inter toto . Well thats what i think will happen suppose we will have to sit back and see who gets the European places. Kev

Unfortunately, my bid for Ahn collapsed due to him not being given a work permit, but plenty of other players will be signed during the summer. Marvin Andrews is one of the players I will strive to get, Kev is also interested in Andrews and is the favourite to get him, but his board has already cancelled one bid and they probably will again, hopefully As Jone said in his season three report, I need a midfielder quite badly. I've had my eye on W.B.A's Tiko for quite some time, but despite his all round good performances, he doesn't fit the bill. What I need is a player like Joe Cole, who is fast, can score goals and also has a killer pass. I'm also eyeing up Bojan Djordjic of Middlesbrough, and hopefully Jone will be interested in selling him. We lost the replay 1-0, but it can't be grudged because the scoreline flattered us a little.and finally;<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR><pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">9.5.04 Coventry H First Division 1:0 40102 Frampton pen</pre>Not the prettiesrt of games, but it gave us automatic promotion thanks to Grimsby's defeat to bottom of the table Wycombe, my proudest moment as Villa manager, and hopefully we can build on this incredible acheivement next season.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>The final standings for division one are as follows:<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">================================================================================================ 2003/4 Table================================================================================================Pos Team Pld Won Drn Lst For Ag Won Drn Lst For Ag Pts--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1st C Millwall 46 17 6 0 42 15 8 7 8 28 33 88 2nd P Aston Villa 46 18 0 5 50 21 8 6 9 40 34 84 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------3rd Pl Grimsby 46 13 6 4 45 27 10 7 6 37 29 82 4th Pl Everton 46 17 3 3 37 14 6 5 12 36 41 77 5th Pl Nottm Forest 46 14 3 6 40 27 9 4 10 39 42 76 6th Pl Bolton 46 13 4 6 42 24 8 8 7 31 33 75 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------7th Bradford 46 13 4 6 44 23 9 2 12 27 31 72 8th Wimbledon 46 13 7 3 35 17 6 8 9 28 34 72 9th Q.P.R. 46 14 6 3 41 21 4 8 11 28 34 68 10th Brentford 46 12 4 7 37 26 7 6 10 21 24 67 11th Reading 46 10 5 8 38 33 9 4 10 34 39 66 12th Preston 46 11 7 5 36 27 4 7 12 23 43 59 13th Man City 46 12 7 4 41 31 4 3 16 32 51 58 14th Coventry 46 9 10 4 37 31 5 5 13 23 31 57 15th Crewe 46 12 6 5 38 26 4 3 16 22 47 57 16th Watford 46 8 7 8 32 27 6 7 10 26 37 56 17th Crystal Palace 46 11 5 7 42 35 3 9 11 24 45 56 18th Birmingham 46 10 7 6 33 25 4 6 13 17 38 55 19th Stockport 46 11 5 7 41 39 3 4 16 23 54 51 20th Barnsley 46 12 6 5 46 28 1 5 17 20 43 50 21st Derby 46 7 8 8 27 24 5 6 12 18 33 50 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------22nd R Bristol C 46 9 3 11 30 31 5 5 13 24 45 50 23rd R Gillingham 46 10 8 5 37 30 1 8 14 19 44 49 24th R Wycombe 46 5 11 7 26 30 4 5 14 12 32 43 </pre>Now I will write a little comment on the other managers:Jonathan Backstrom: Foul mouthed **** Decent manager, but seems to have a neverending cash supply, in fact, I can't remember the last time he bought a player that was under £15m Has his Boro team playing well and will be in the top 3 again next year.Nuno Santos: A good manager, has a great mate called Sabex who provides him with wonder tactics Seriously though, he had his Fulham team performing to their very best and I don't think anyone can grudge him his league victory.Alex Vasyov: I think he has done fantastically well since taking over at Everton, he has had virtually nothing from his board for 3 years and has built a hardworking stable unit. He's my tip for the first division next year.Kevin Baharmanesh: Kev has performed very well all throughout the season, and was my manager of the year. A third place and FA Cup win with W.B.A is a very difficult thing to acheive and it was very impressive.John Burbidge: An outstanding UEFA Cup run overshadowed a relatively average premier league season, one to watch for next season I feel. He's also another manager that has had very little to work with, and this makes the acheivement of reaching a UEFA Cup final all the more impressive.Steve Lawson: Performed reasonably well throughout the season, and got a well deserved seventh place in the premiership with Sunderland. If he can build on that then he could become a major force in the coming seasons. Will probably be my main league rival next season.See you all next session (when is it BTW?) Unfortunately, my bid for Ahn collapsed due to him not being given a work permit, but plenty of other players will be signed during the summer.
