Now that I took my medicines (anti-depressives and cherry flavoured antacids) after what happened last session icon_frown.gif ,I think I can post now the

FULHAM UPDATE

It’s beyond the shadow of a doubt that this was the worst session ever in all aspects. Starting with a crash in a moment when the game haven’t been saved for 2 weeks or so and ending in the most terrible performance I ever saw in my team:

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">

10.2.03 Chelsea H Premier Division 0:2 20177

15.2.03 Man Utd A FA Cup 5th Rnd 0:2 50038

19.2.03 Sheff Wed A League Cup Semi Final Leg 2 1:4 35289 Rommedahl

22.2.03 West Ham A Premier Division 3:4 34964 Caniggia 2, Kerr

2.3.03 Ipswich H Premier Division 1:0 18973 Boa Morte

16.3.03 Tottenham A Premier Division 0:1 36235

</pre>

As you can see, we played 6 matches in this session, with only a win and 5 defeats. The most unpleasant defeat was at Hillsboro where a 1-4 score obligate us to wave goodbye to the League Cup. I didn’t like also being beat by West Crap in a match that I should have won icon_biggrin.gif .On Fa Cup I was kicked out also by Man Utd, so there’s only the league left for me, where we want to finish in a uefa cup spot and also finish above HL7’s West Crap. icon_wink.gif But I take for granted that it won’t be easy, taking into consideration I’ll have to play with the big boys, such as Man Utd, Liverpool or Leeds.

Now that the CL seems far away from me, I’ll go in next session with the purpose of reaching the 5th place, just to get my first few managerial points. icon_rolleyes.gif

And I’ll unquestionably be heading for the title next season, I have some cash to spend (supported by the transfer of Boa Morte to Ajax for £ 9.5 M, and I assured already some good bosmans that are likely to improve my squad:

Lee Hendrie from Aston Villa

Par Zetterberg from Olimpiakos

Erik Mykland from 1860 Munchen

Stephen Crainey from Celtic

Neil Mellor from Liverpool

And with the likes of Downer, Slatter, Ashton, Zamora and Antchouet in my reserve team waiting for a chance of success, I’m a delighted manager. icon_smile.gif

See you all tomorrow at 8.30pm (t&t starting at 8pm) icon_smile.gif

<<<<<EVERTON FC UPDATE>>>>>

This is the first time in a long while I'm writing my report being in good mood.

There are two things that make me happy icon_smile.gif

1 - Russia just won their first match in the WC icon_smile.gif

2 - Finally I found the tactic that works for my Everton icon_smile.gif

I started this session with a bit of hope having created my NEW tactic. I did hope that this time it would work. And it DID icon_smile.gif

The first team to know it was Wimbledon. We controlled the game the way I would have liked. We didn't give them a chance, meanwhile in the other end we were great. Goals from Murray, Alexandersson, Stuart and Wilson (his first goal for the club) secured us an easy win.

Final Result - 4:0

I should have asked the FA to postpone our next game vs Derby. We had just one day off before coming out on the pitch. My top players were tired and that's the main reason we lost to one of the leaders. Murray gave us an early lead but then they completely outplayed us. We did everything we could that day, but it wasn't enough, though I was glad when Ferguson DID MANAGE to score (just his second goal of this campaign).

Final Result - 2:3

Coventry was our next opponent and I expected a tough match. We started brightly with Pistone and Gravesen giving us a comfortable advantage. We dominated the most part of the game. Coventry pulled one back but it was just a consolation.

Final Result - 2:1

With the implementation of of my new tactic, defensively we are looking bad but on the other hand there is more threat on goal from my players. It confirmed when we payed a visit Wolves. It was very open game with many goals. That was a pleasure for the spectators but not for the managers. For Everton on the scoresheet were - Linderoth, Gravesen and Stuart.

Final Result - 3:3

An easy win on the paper proved to be very hard when Bradley Allen gave Grimsby an early lead. we put a pressure on them but till 60th minute we couldn't find the net. It was Ford who levelled the score giving us a hope. Duncan Ferguson (Big Dunc) came on as a late sub and became a HERO when he scored a late winning goal.

Final Result - 2:1

Next match against Sams Man City should have ended in a draw, but their keeper -Carlo Nash was in great form. We made 10 shots on goal and only one found his way into the back of the net. The goalscorer is Stuart.

Final Result - 1:3

The last match of the session gave us a hard but deserved win against Bradford. Stuart scored his 15th goal of the season and Ford added another one from the penalty spot.

Final Result - 2:1

All in all it is 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. Now when my players seem get used to my new tactic I expect better results on the finish of the current campaign.

"Once an Evertonian, always an Evertonian" icon_biggrin.gif

Well what can I say about todays session.

First off I would like to put forward my sympathys to Pavey as it looks like he has been found out in a game of this quality and is one the brink of being sacked, can't say I blame the chairman though icon_wink.gif

Sheffield Wednesday have without a doubt undergone a revival since I took over.Making an appearance in the League Cup Final which we unfortunately lost to Southampton 2-1.However the youngsters will have learnt from this result and I am sure it will make us stronger as a team icon_smile.gif

Other highlights of the season run in were a 2-1 demoloshing of Charlton (Pavey). It started to get embarrasing at the end as the Charton players' heads started to drop, and were eventually booed off by the crowd.

Fulham managed to scrape a 2-2 draw although I am sure they were over the moon about that result after the 4-1 drubbing previously.

With a decent finish to the season we are certainly in with a chance of the inter-tot cup, which will generate a little extra cash to attract the rivaldos of this world to Sheffield icon_biggrin.gif

See you all next session

END OF SEASON 2

Tonight we completed second season. It was a very enjoyable session in my belief. Fulham finished 6th and West Ham (HL7) is 7th. Both will play in UEFA Cup next season.

Sheff Wed (whitehart) ended 9th, I congrat their manager for a very good performance since he took the job.

WBA (kevbest) is 10th after a great job from their manager, taking them from down the table to midtable.

In Div 1, Alex with his new tactic at last managed to achieve something decent and with his new board, he’ll probably be a good bet for promotion next season. His finances are now out of red and he has got something like 7M to spend.

Saddest thing is samster being sacked from man city job a short while after he went on holiday. icon_frown.gif . I hope he’ll stick with us, but if he does, the clan rules say that he’ll have to pick a dv2 next season. He is 17th.Btw Sammy, how come that you get the second boot in two seasons? icon_rolleyes.gif

Haster got the boot again ?

lol, that is embarrassing icon_biggrin.gif

Great season for the newbies too, I think they will drop both Michael and Nuno down the table icon_razz.gif

I am a bit disappointed tha Boro finshed 15th, althoigh I don't think I'd done much better icon_frown.gificon_biggrin.gif

Link to post

Well, I must say, despite the fact we could've done better, 7th is still an improvement over last seasons 9th, and I should be happy about that. Although, I didn't think 7th got into Europe but I may be wrong, however, in any case, I turned down an invite to the inter-toto cup, as I didn't want to tire my players out before the season begins.

In this session, I only came up against one human manager, and that was Kev, who played very well against me on my home ground, and I have to congratulate him for the way he made WBA play against me. It was a hard fought match, and it finished 1-1, with Kev having a goal disallowed before I officially taken the lead, but with 6 minutes remaining he got a deserved point out of the match icon_smile.gif

Nuno's Fulham team were quite inconsistant this session, bnut the standout of the session must be his 3-2 win over Liverpool, with 2 goals in the dying minutes icon_mad.gif

Pavey of Charlton was shít icon_biggrin.gif Seriously though, he hasn't got his team playing to the standard he expects, and is desperate for a new striker. Did well to avoid relegation after a poor start though.

Steve's Sunderland also did well, i'm impressed he managed to stay clear of relegation.

Alex's Everton were the surprise package of the session. He developed a new tactic which got his team playing really, really well, and also the fact that he has a new board and £7m in transfer funds will make him a force next year. Oh, and if he fecks it up next season, he has no excuses icon_biggrin.gif

Sam, well, hehehehe icon_biggrin.gif Sacked again hamster, which is unfortunate, because I reckon he's better than he leads us to believe.

And finally, Johns Sheffield Wednesday have also done very well, with a respectable ninth place finish. He's played well throughout and deserved his finish, I expect him to be challenging for a CL spot next season icon_biggrin.gif

Other West Ham news includes a shock injury to Emile Mpenza, who was injured in an international match, out for 1 month, however, when I asked my physio's to do a check, they pointed out that he's carrying cruciate ligament damage, the surgery will keep him out for 7 months.

Here is my squad, with promising youngsters highlighted in Italics, and Important players in Bold, anyone else is for sale *major hint* icon_wink.gif

Hi everyone,

Finally finished work all bleary eyed after last nights late session, however it was well worth it as the mighty Mackems put together a great run with only 1 defeat (away to Man u). icon_smile.gif

Really looking forward to next season where i can see us going from strength to strength. Tried mirc today and worked fine so i hope last nights carry on was just a one-off. The icing on the cake was beating the **** (newcastle utd) 2-1. "WE ALWAYS WIN 2-1" LOL icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

What happened to Pavey? I didn`t realise we were on trial icon_eek.gif

Am i still on trial? Whats the score? (paron the pun)

Looking forward to next season as i am really enjoying myself playing in this clan. See you all next session icon_wink.gificon_wink.gificon_wink.gificon_wink.gif

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

We put people on trial for 2 or 3 sessions to make sure that they :

1. Are commited.

2. Have a nice sense of humour.

3. Post their reports here.

4. Have a good attitude.

5. Last but not least, we have to like them.

After a couple of sessions, me, HL7 and Toffeeman gather round together and make a decision. We all agreed that whitehart and kevbest fulfilled our expectations, and two of us thought that pavey didn't. That's what we explained in the email we send him last night.

This may look like bullshít talk, but it isn't. Believe me, there's a lot of effort and time put into this game and that's why it's a success in my humble opinion. Take a look at the people who's trying to join. More than 30 in the last couple of weeks. We have to be careful with who we accept in our game and that's the reason of the trial.

And it has nothing to do with being a good or bad manager, because if it was, Samster and Toffee would be out of the clan a long time ago. icon_biggrin.gificon_wink.gif

And by the way, keep on being yourself and you'll probably be the next member. icon_smile.gif
