GavinZac
Play in windowed mode? Or Press alt+tab to switch between screens if you're running the game in full screen. I've not tried this in Microsoft Windows though, you may have to turn off the match sounds.
TomHAVFC
You play music how you usally play. And just be playing FM at the same time.

bigguyinthesky
Im a bit of an idiot when it comes to computing, but is this possible, and how???MAny thanks in advance play in windowed mode choose options then preferences then display and sound, at the top choose resolution and change to windowed mode then further down the page turn off sound click confirm then open your music player as normal and play what ever you want to. you may need to shrink football manager by clicking the minus symbol in the top right so you can see your desktop to open your music player
kopitelewis
burn a cd onto your computer. upload windows media player then click on the tas bar at the bottom of the screen, go on toolbars and click on windows media player. then get all the music you want to play into 1 playlist, click play and minimise the windows media player screen so you have a silver music player at the bottom right of the screen. then load up football manager and your music will still play. santy001
Think the OP might have meant through the game itself I remember seeing this on some other football management games before I got onto FM. Sort of like background music for the game.
Andrew_
You can't play music through FM. Open your media player and play music. Then load up the game.(Or the other way, eithers fine) Can alt+tab between the two if you like to change songs, etc.

Super Canaries
Haha... 1. Play your music hw you usually would... Setup a playlist so you don't have to minimize Fm every 10seconds, 2. Load up Fm & play... It's really simple
phnompenhandy
If you have Vista, click on the sound icon in your right-hand tray. It has separate sounds for FM and music. I put FM sounds on mute so that the crowd doesn't drown out my music.

Should give a (tiny) performance boost, too
