smp20
January - February 2026 Update Transfers Out The clear out project was in full swing come the transfer window as for the most part older players were sold on. Bentancur and Maignan were the only main starters and we got very good money for them. Poulsen was the only player I really wanted to keep, but he had no interest in a new contract so we used the 'sell now' option to actually get some money for him. Transfers In We had a real lack of identity within the club and part of this transfer window's aim was to bring in some domestic talent. Pobega is a club-grown player, while Papetti is a player that always did well under Davide at Everton. We've overpaid for Gollini, but we needed a capable sweeper keeper and clubs didn't fancy letting their keepers go midseason. Results A perfect January and thanks to a last gasp equaliser we even managed to continue unbeaten throughout February too. The highlight was our 5-0 thumping away to Lazio which ended up being Poulsen's last game for the club. Serie A Table The CL qualification spots is exactly where we wanted to be and we still have an outside chance of winning the league. March Fixtures A very interesting fixture list in March as we host rivals Inter in the cup and Serie A, Juventus at home and we're drawn against Russian opposition in the Conference League.

smp20
It looks half decent but from going through the players none look like they're going to be real first team players. Maybe some future squad depth.

smp20
March - April 2026 Update March Results A pretty good month, progress in the Conference League with our second string playing both legs, away wins in Serie A and the best result being a 2-0 win over city rivals Inter in the league. However, we did succumb to a loss against Inter despite them being down to 10 men early on and we were the better side against Juve so it was disappointing to only come out with a draw. April Results The good - full marks in the league! The bad - exits in both the continental and domestic cup. A 121st minute winner for Leverkusen knocked us out the conference league while we could only muster a 1 goal win and thus went out to Inter on aggregate in the cup. Serie A Table We need Inter to slip up, but we're just 4 points behind them with 4 games left. Serie A is decided on head-to-head when points are tied and we have the advantage over Inter, whereas Juve have the advantage over us. Fixtures A tricky end to the season as we head to Naples, host Lazio at home then have two potential banana skins away to Sampdoria and Udinese. To stand a chance of winning the scudetto we need a 100% record.

smp20
May 2026 Results Well that wasn't exactly the end to the season we had hoped for, but Inter had wrapped up the title regardless of our results and we just seemed to run out of steam. Casagrande is an 18-year-old academy product who scored on his debut, so there is one highlight in that defeat! Full season review to come.
smp20
2025/26 Season Review Results No trophies to show for it but an excellent start under Ancelotti Junior. It would have been nice to win the Conference League or Coppa Italia but we just didn't quite do enough. We had periods of brilliance in Serie A and managed to jump from 8th at the time of Davide's appointment up to 3rd. It was a shame to end poorly but we will re-group for next season. Serie A Table We ended up some way off Inter and even trailed behind Juventus, but we did enough to push Milan back into the Champions League! It's a shame to see Davide's hometown club Parma get relegated. Assessed Best XI Gollini --- Castagne --- Papetti --- Tomori --- Angelino --- Bennacer --- Pobega --- Saelemaekers --- Chico --- Piccoli --- Moukoko This is what we'd consider our best starting eleven, although I'm pretty certain that due to a multitude of injuries (Pobega, Bennacer, Castagne being the worst hit) we haven't been able to field it in a fixture yet. Papetti has been excellent since signing although he's mostly been playing right back. Our newly assembled front two of Piccoli and Moukoko have been excellent, while Chico has made the left wing position his own after struggling to properly break through at Everton. Assessed Second XI Romagnoli has actually been a main starter but when all players are fit I can see him falling down the pecking order. He's going into his testimonial year now and he has already started losing his pace so it might be worthwhile selling him on while we can still get something for him. The same could be said for Naby Keita who has been ok in DM but he's also the wrong side of 30. Our second string is nowhere near to title challenging standard and we will need to invest in our depth to mount a serious challenge while playing CL too. One such player proving his worth is academy product Lorenzo Colombo who ended up as club top goalscorer! Unfortunately he picked up a serious injury in the penultimate game of the season. Awards Roberto Piccoli was Seria A top scorer and in doing so became the only non Inter / Juve player to break into the team of the season. A great leader, aerial presence, technically decent, puts his body on the line and he's quick enough to play in a high line. De Ligt is one hell of a signing! smp20
Moise Kean's relationship with Davide meant that he rejected a return to Juventus to join Milan. He's going to be our "Ruud Gullit". A huge signing for the club and one that shows Milan's intentions on the domestic and continental stage.
smp20
Summer 2026 Update Transfers Out All of the players aged 30+ are now gone as well as a few players that just weren't going to cut it or spat their dummy out wanting to leave (Kristiansen for the 2nd time!). The riskiest transfer was letting Bennacer go to rivals Inter, but at £87m and nearly 29 it was prime time to sell him on. The only one missing from the list is Angelino who went to Arsenal for £34m. Transfers In Alexandropoulos --- De Ligt --- Malacia --- Diaby --- Kean --- Okoh --- Singo --- Furlan --- Netz A really busy transfer window with 9 players brought in all for the first team. The biggest names have already been announced - De Ligt and Kean - but all the other players commanded fees of £25m+ which meant an outlay of over £300m on players. 3 of the 9 players had played under Davide before - Alexandropoulos, Okoh and Kean - the first two to provide depth and the latter to lead our attacking line. Singo cost the same as Kean and will need to showcase his quality at right back; he can also cover right wing and centre back too. Malacia was brought in to be our first choice left back after the sale of Angelino while Diaby will compete with Chico for the left wing starting slot. Transfer wise we were all set until deadline day when the sales of Bennacer and Kristiansen needed replacements. We've opted for an exciting young talent in Furlan to replace Bennacer, while Netz will really provide competition for Malacia at left back. Last season there didn't seem to be quality depth, now we can be sure that every position has at least two quality options and full cover in the case of an injury crisis or fixture pile up. August Results Spezia threw a spanner in the works with a very early goal but we battled back to win in style. Two games, two wins. Long may it continue! smp20
September - October 2026 Update Results Our perfect start continues and we're scoring a lot of goals. Just one game this season we've failed to score at least 3 goals at that was a tough 1-0 win at home vs Atalanta. The highlight has probably been the 6-3 win vs Napoli where we were 2-1 down up until the 68th minute! League Table 100% record but we can't rest on our laurels. We're yet to face Inter or Juve and they boast a strong record too.
smp20
2026/27 Mid-Season Update Results The first games of each month proved to be the trickiest as Lyon became the first side to stop us from winning and Lazio the first to inflict a defeat. Thankfully the defeat to Lazio was sandwiched by wins against Inter and Juventus and we've been solid enough to win all the other games too. Serie A Table Just 3 points dropped going into the winter break giving us a 7 point lead ahead of Inter. Champions League A comfortable group win and we're through to face Valencia in the first knockout. A decent draw and hopefully we'll do enough to get through to the quarters. Player Stats Gollini has been ever-present between the sticks, no one else has started more than 16 games. Moukoko, Singo, De Ligt and Chico have been outstanding so far. The only disappointment has been Moise Kean who has done okay but has had a lot of niggly injuries and not quite living up to his price tag / wages / hype. smp20
January - March 2027 Update Transfers A quiet January transfer window where we sold a couple of first team squad players - Sambia and Moro - and replaced the latter with a wonderkid from City for more or less the same money. Noe has had a good start to life in Milan and he's able to play on the wing (where he's being trained) or up top in either the complete or advanced forward roles. Results A sea of green right up until we stumbled against Cagliari in the last competitive game of March. Serie A Table 9 points clear with 8 games to go, it's ours to mess up. The Scudetto should be on it's was to the Rossonero! April Fixtures An incredibly important month. CL Quarters, the 2nd leg of the Coppa Italia semi where we hold a 1-0 aggregate lead and games against Inter and Juve in the league. April will make or break our season. Youth Intake We have reason to be very excited about Palazzi as he's touted as a generational talent and has the descriptor as "the next Marco Tardelli". He'll come straight into the first team to be mentored by De Ligt and Pobbega.
