deez0r
First time writer but have read a lot of the stories in here, really enjoying the work done by @Makoto Nakamura and @Jimbokav1971. For this I have started unemployed with no badges and will apply for all jobs until I get one! I would like to concentrate on the development of youth but this wont be a strictly youth save. Heres how I started with my leagues: And here is the manager: I holidayed and applied for all available jobs. Getting knock back after knock back and here is where I ended up! In my homeland! Ironically I have played, scored and been sent off at that stadium! I will update again soon with squad, finances etc. Hopefully will keep some people entertained! If anyone has any tips with what to write or show then feel free, all criticism is good criticism!
Jimbokav1971
I had a phenomenal save with Lisburn Distillery back in about FM12 or something. I had a GK called McIlmurray who was amazing for me but in real life turned into an outfield player. I loved all the smaller competitions in N.Ireland and in particular the Cups that allowed Reserve Teams at the top level to play against 1st teams at a lower level. Hope they are still in the game. Good luck.

deez0r
Squad Overview & Finances The squad is decent enough for this level with us having 2 standout players in James Wright and Kevin Braniff (yes the same Millwall player who was pretty decent in some of the Champ Mans!). Some additional loans or free transfers will be required, we currently only have the 1 left back and not a great lot of cover in our DM/MC areas. In attack we have 2 good starters with one good prospect to fill in. In terms of prospects from within the team Matthew Swann is comfortably our best prospect and will get a lot of games this season. In NI there tends to be a multitude of cups so squad rotation will be required. Finances In terms of finances at this level there isn't going to be much money, we are slightly in the red both in terms of our overall finances and also our wage budget which is all appearance based! Tactics This is the formation we will be utilising. 4-4-2 at this level will suit.

deez0r
Pre Season, Transfers and News \ We have been placed as favourites to win the Intermediate league. I am hoping we can back this up as looking at the clubs in this division we are comfortably the biggest. Friendlies I let the assistant take over for friendlies but made sure he played the new formation to try and familiarise the team with this. We performed pretty well throughout scoring a lot of goals. Transfers A number of transfers in including some loans to pad out the squad and have cover in all positions. I wont show you all of them but here are the better few who will make a difference straightaway. Eric Foley, Jake Dykes, Luke Kelly and Aidan Watson This is also our new keeper @Jimbokav1971. For a bit of fun I am going to nickname any new keepers as Jimbo Kav then Jimbo Kav2 etc to see how they end up once I finish this save! Also @Makoto Nakamura thanks for the gyazo tip its working out really well!

deez0r
August 2019 In August we had 3 leagues games and a Bet McLean cup game at home to Premier League side Dungannon Set pieces caused us the issues, I changed and went slightly more attacking in the 2nd half, we pulled a goal back and battered them but just couldn't get the equaliser. With players still familiarising themselves with the tactics and each other its not a surprise. But the second half was a good sign. We also lost our staring right back Connor Corry to Newington just after this game. Once again set pieces caused us issues, we dominated possession and shots but missed a number of great chances. Worrying start and a premier league side up next which could dampen morale further. Another good performance not matched by the scoreline. Unfortunately our backline is making basic errors, I switched some of them in this game to hopefully freshen this up but no joy. We are also suffering from not much backup for our wingers. I decided to bring in Adam Carroll on loan from Linfield to help provide some cover We grabbed a win our final game of the month a back and forth game and hopefully a good sign to push on! This leaves the league table as below. A poor start but hopefully we can kick on from that win. Jimbo Kav Watch No penalties as of yet and very little free kicks. Still awaiting his first goal! deez0r
Jimbo Kav Off The Mark Jimbo Kav got off the mark in a big win away in the 3rd round of the Steel and Sons cup sending the keeper the wrong way with a penalty slotted into the bottom right corner. deez0r
September 2019 I have decided to do updates on a monthly basis and update you of our performances for the month rather than game by game apart from any big games (promotion, cup finals etc). In September we have 3 league games as well as 2 cup games one of which is against one of the professional sides in the Premier League in Larne (they recently came into money as they were bought by the guy who owns purple bricks. The stadium is less than a minutes drive down the road from me). A so so month with us once again dominating most teams but not putting chances away. We have been really bad from set piece defending. A nice small cup run was ended by Brantwood where Jimbo Kav grabbed his 2nd penalty in as many rounds putting this one into the bottom left corner. Unfortunately their right back scored two 25 yard free kicks and despite outshooting them and Banbridge 3 to 1 we didn't have enough to win either game. We beat Tobermore with a late Rooney goal after once again dominating. Jimbo Kav then scored his first league goals sending the keeper the wrong way from a penalty before scoring his first free kick, 25 yards out bent into the top left hand corner before adding another free kick from basically the same blade of grass. Unfortunately we conceded in the 89th and 96th minute to throw points away again. This left the league as follows. We are in 5th but should be at least 4 to 6 points better off. Jimbo Kav Watch @Jimbokav1971 was in fine form scoring from the spot in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the Steel and Sons cup before a stunning hat trick from him in the league including 2 free kicks bringing him to 5 goals for the month! deez0r
October 2019 Another disappointing month, we struggled away at Newington for once being outgunned before hammering Limavady at home but once again unable to score a goal. We brought in Connor Farrelly to try and sort that as a young prospect as Braniff as been dire so far. We then played our 4th cup of the season in the intermediate cup away at Dungannon Reserves. Unfortunately a sending off from Joe Reid early in the second half didn't help matters before once again a last minute goal sent us out in extra time. Jimbo Kav Watch Jimbo Kav single handedly tried to keep us in the Intermediate Cup with a penalty and another 20 yard free kick this time from the right hand side of the pitch. If only he could keep them out the other end!
Jimbokav1971
That's ma boy! @deez0rI hope you appreciate that a GK scoring a hat-trick is a BIG deal and very few people have managed it.

deez0r
November 2019 November was a very quiet month with only 2 league games. We really needed to get 6 points to try and get back into the promotion chase. We did get this during the month! Results A perfect month albeit only 2 games, Jimbo Kav continued his set piece prowess with a 20 yarder in off the right hand post in a tight 2-1 win at Moyola before a more comfortable win at home to Portstewart who sit above us in the table with Connor Farrelly getting his first for the club. League Table A much prettier sight, yes others have a game in hand on us but the table is looking much more bunched now thankfully. Jimbo Kav Watch Our main man now has more than double the goals (8) than our next highest scorer (3).
pheelf
Good luck with this. I'll be very interested to see how playing with such exotic player roles works in the N. Irish lower leagues. I always thought that you needed to pair a Segundo Volante with a player in a different role but if it works for you then it's all good. deez0r
December 2019 We have our first foray into the Irish Cup with a tie against the team currently top of our league in Limavady before 3 league games in December against the team below us, the team currently in 2nd and finally the team 2nd from bottom. Could be a pivotal month for us. In others news we are losing our best defender Jake Dykes to Drogheda and also Luke Kelly to Limerick in January, not great when we really need to go on a solid run of results. Limavady deservedly knocked us out of the cup, they were the better team on the day but our struggles from set pieces again haunted us although Braniff finally got his 2nd goal of the season. We went to Bangor who had since jumped up to 3rd place so this was a massive game for us. It turned into a big win. We went 2-0 up prior to O'Hanlon being sent off and managed to hold on as Bangor battered us. its about time one of those games went our way! Just before the Dollingstown game we brought in Brandon Nelson who will replace Luke Kelly when he leaves. We had both O'Hanlon and Wright suspended for this game but Brennan who came in for O'Hanlon grabbed a double as dominated the game. Dollingstown did have 2 goals disallowed but it was a big win for us and then we completed a perfect month with a hard fought 2-0 win over Armagh with Braniff and Carroll getting the goals. League Table Youth Preview A wide midfielder would be great as we are struggling from that area but lets wait and see! Jimbo Kav Watch No goals this month but he is still comfortably our top scorer! deez0r
January 2020 Not many games this month as we are out of all cups. Away trips to bottom of the table Tobermore and bottom half of the table Banbridge this month. We are currently scouting to see if we can get any big players in to help our promotion push! Most of this month was us trying not to lose our best players, we already lost Dykes and Kelly at the start of the window. James Wright who is our best player is wanted by a number of clubs. We started the month off with a comfortable 3-1 win away at Banbridge with Braniff seemingly hitting a bit of form. We brought in Bulgarian Plamen Kolev to provide some competition for our wing positions and Wright and Braniff both rejected clubs from the division above to stay. A shocking performance away at Tobermore with the only positive being Jimbo Kav got another goal from the spot. League Table We finish January off in 3rd place, we have won 7 of last 8 games but need to get back on track after the loss at Tobermore. Jimbo Kav Watch Jimbo added 1 goal to his tally with that penalty away at Tobermore and is still our top goal scorer by a comfortable distance which I think says more about the state of our strikers than anything! deez0r
February 2020 We have agreed to bring in Danish holding midfielder Benjamin Moller Nielsen at the end of his contract at Newry. I think this is a very good addition to the team. We lost Harris right at the end of the transfer window but he was a bit part player who was never going to get many minutes. We have 4 games this month with the pick of the bunch being away to Limavady! On a side note our reserves are running away with their league with a 10 point gap! We really should have beat Newington. Kolev got his first for the club and I thought we had scored a winner in the 93rd minute only for Newington to equalise in the 96th minute. Not only that but we lost McCaw, Reid and Wright to suspension against the top team who are still unbeaten. A defeat to them would pretty much mean we wouldn't win the title so we needed a big performance and whilst we didn't get the result a spirited comeback from 2-0 down should hopefully give us confidence against Annagh who are a point behind us with a game in hand. In probably our biggest game of the seasons we were actually quite poor but left back Heron got a goal which was massive. We finished our month with a trip to Portstewart knowing a win would put us into a decent place for the run in and 2 goals from Rooney means we end the month on a high! League Table We finish the month on top of the table however all clubs below us have a game in hand and with only 3pts separating the top 5 its going to be an incredibly tight run in! Misc. Just before the Annagh game I got my first badge and immediately started on another! I am also just noticing that the league doesn't break up into promotion/relegation like the NI Premier League does so we only have 1 game left! Jimbo Kav Watch No more goals for our goalkeeper who continues to be our top goalscorer although just 1 off double figures!
deez0r
March 2020 With no games in March I thought I would concentrate on our youth intake and some miscellaneous news! As it states we are in debt but I wouldn't call it "bad" debt. We have lost around £40k this season so far and that hasn't been helped by absolutely no cup runs at all. Youth Intake 2020 A great first intake with some players capable of helping out in the first team already. I have screens hotted the five 5 star potential candidates but will be signing them all to fill out the u18 and reserves also. The eagle eyed amongst you will also see we have signed Peter Parker! For the 5 above I do really like the look of Robinson and Kearney who I am going to retrain to fit into that deep lying role. Out of the 2 strikers I prefer Campbell although Bailie does have a lot of determination, how would you guys use him? For me 7 finishing isn't great for a striker and he would fine it hard fitting in elsewhere in this formation? Out of the 5 Kearney has a low determination as his personality so I am trying to tutor him to get that brought up. If anyone has any tips on the above or wants to see any of the other players then let me know.
deez0r
April 2020 We are in the strange position of playing our last game before everyone else as we have played a game extra. Moyola are currently 10th and are a team we really should be beating. We can hopefully get some favours elsewhere! Thankfully we have done our part and you may have noticed that Jimbo managed to get his 10th goal in the last game of the season! League Table With one game left for all our rivals this is how the table looks! Only Bangor and Limavady can catch us and unfortunately they both play the bottom 2 teams in the league! So here is hoping for a miracle! Final Day So how did this all turn out? Limavady win the league on goal difference after staying undefeated all season. If we had of kept out two 96th minute goals we would have won the league. Bangor won 2-0 which means we sneak into the promotion/relegation playoff match where we will play Knockbreda away from home first before playing home leg secondly Other News We will be losing Connor Farrelly in the summer to Bray and whilst he had big potential he would only get in the way of our youth players coming through. In other news we are in take-over talks!
deez0r
Playoffs What a moment for Stephen Campbell to get his first goals for the club. A hat trick from our youth player as well as @Jimbokav1971 grabbing another penalty puts us in really good stead for the 2nd leg. And just to ramp up the tension! Between legs our takeover was completed with no investment being pumped into the club unfortunately! And tense it was, we were under huge pressure in the first half and went in 2-0 down, we moved to a more positive attacking mentality and finally started creating some chances. With 1 more goal winning it for Knockbreda we were always playing with fire. But then 1 man stepped up, he said enough with this nonsense and bent in a 22 yard free kick to settle the tie. A defeat but promotion thankfully! At one stage we had 4 of our your academy in the team.
deez0r
End Of Season Review In a season where we were expected to go up as champions we barely scrapped promotion. with us sneaking into playoffs by 1 goal and then nearly throwing away our 2 goal lead from the first leg. However with some promising youngsters coming through hopefully we can push on next season. Awards Night It isn't a surprise that Jimbo Kav romped home with the fans player of the season. With 12 goals and 1 assist our sweeper keeper was called out by fans at the start of the season for not being good enough for this club with one fan claiming "he's rubbish, it's an absolute outrage". He also won young player of the season with Plamen Kolev claiming goal of the season and no nonsense centre half Michael McKenna winning our signing of the season. deez0r
Pre Season Update Things are not going well currently as we lose our starting right back and starting centre back to Newington of the division below as well as 2 of our 5 big prospects form our youth academy. deez0r
Lowestoft Introduction We have only 13 players and no staff, this is going to be a challenge! Our best player is centre back John Stevenson, outside of him there is a distinct lack of quality across the whole team. Our finances look decent for a team at this level, hopefully we can utilise some of this to get some players in. There are massive gaps in our team, if we want to survive these will need fixed. Off we go in the search for any staff or players interested!

deez0r
Pre Season A decent pre-season whilst we were trying to sign players to fill our squad out! Players 20 players come in, 17 on free transfers and 3 on loan. This should hopefully give us a chance of staying up. The pick of the bunch are James Daly, Lewis Byron and Tom Sams. Whilst my personal favourite is Wilberforce Ocran. Staff We managed to bring in some staff, poor quality but we needed bodies! Going to be a tough season but hopefully we can survive! When I joined we were 1000/1. After the signings this is where we are at.
deez0r
August 2020 We have 9 games in August (sorry took screenshot a bit too late). Going to be a busy month! Results A solid month. where we struggled in front of goal but 3 wins and 3 draws from 9 matches I will take! We have had disciplinary issues with 4 suspensions already which hasn't helped! Signings We brought in a couple of further players through the month, raiding old club Distillery for Kolev as we were struggling for wingers and are well above the wage budget so can't offer much! League Table Sitting smack bang in the middle of the table after a long month. I would have definitely taken this at start of season. Linton has hit some form but we have struggled outside of that. Jimbo Kav Watch The big man has 2 goals this month both from the spot. He is 100% from both Distillery and Lowestoft from the spot! Keep up the good work @Jimbokav1971
deez0r
September 2020 A great start to the month where we won 7 on the bounce however 2 poor performances at the end of the month undid this slightly however we are performing well above expectations and we seem to have a striker in Linton that can find the back of the net and Gallimore has now nipped in with 4 goals in 6 starts. We are sitting in 4th 4pts inside the playoffs which is fantastic, we have been relatively lucky in that we haven't had much injuries however our discipline has been very poor with a number of suspensions due to sendings off in game as well as people getting to that 5 yellow card limit! Jimbo Kav Watch Jimbo is now up to 5 goals for the season which puts him as our 2nd top goal scorer. I made a mistake in not noticing he got a free kick at end of August! He is now 4 for 4 on penalties this season and still at 100% conversion rate!
deez0r
October 2020 Results Not a great month but a lot of games away from home. Unfortunately we went down to 10 men in 3 of the defeats which didn't help and missing players through suspension has made us struggle somewhat. League Table Still in the playoffs which is good, still struggling with our discipline! Jimbo Kav Watch No goals this month for the big man!
deez0r
November 2020 Results A mixed month, we were much the better team against Gloucester but couldn't put the ball in the net. We changed most of the team for the FA Trophy game but came through comfortably before overturning playoff rivals Chester in our last game of the month! League Table Jimbo Kav Watch 2 months without a goal for our now 3rd top goalscorer. We need more penalties! Finances We are losing around 40k a month more than likely due to our wage budget, however if we survive and manage to get into playoffs it would be worth it. deez0r
Dirtiest Team In The Land This is really causing us issues, we have lost I would say a good 10pts due to disciplinary issues. deez0r
December 2020 Results A tough month for us, not a single win in the league with discipline issues costing us in 2 of those games. However a good point away to league leaders Gateshead should hopefully leave us in good stead for next month where hopefully we can unload some unneeded players and perhaps get a couple of loans in. League Table We drop outside of the playoffs for the first time in a few months, its been coming as our form as been very poor! Jimbo Kav Watch One goal in the FA Trophy win away at Hereford for Jimbo brings his tally to 6 and joint 2nd top goalscorer in the team.
deez0r
January 2021 Results Just what the doctor ordered. A fantastic month for us with no red cards with the highlight being the away win at 3rd place York. Hopefully we can keep this form going and stay in the playoffs! Linton has really been performing for us up to 16 goals for the season now with the main man Jimbo Kav still our 2nd top goalscorer! League Table Looking much better now. hopefully we can stay in the playoffs and you never know with the lottery that they are! Jimbo Kav Watch Another goal for Jimbo Kav for this month which brings him up to 7.
deez0r
February 2020 Results A poor month where fitness started to become an issue in the team and the players rotating in are just not up to the quality required unfortunately. We did put in a really good performance at top of the table in the National League Aldershot in the FA Trophy but where unable to get anything from the game. League Table We are holding on to that playoff spot but could really do with a couple of wins to cement our place! It looks like probably 3 from 4 will get into the playoffs between ourselves. Chester. Kidderminster and Brackley. Jimbo Kav Watch 1 goal in the away match at Farsely for Jimbo brings him to 8 for the season and still 2nd top goal scorer
deez0r
Signings Louis Ramsay is a great free transfer signing for us, 4 star current ability and he will come straight into the team at right back, we struggled for any strength in depth at full back and he can play on both sides. Decarrey Sheriff comes in to partner Linton. Galliwell hasn't scored in a long time and Gash is simply not good enough. Hopefully Sheriff can score some goals to get us to those playoffs. deez0r
March 2021 Results A 50-50 month which currently is good enough for us but it was a really disappointing result at home to relegation threatened Rushall. 2 big away wins though for us and Sheriff got his first for the club at Kettering. League Table A 5 point gap now which is good, if we could manage to get above Kidderminster for a better draw that would be great! Jimbo Kav Watch Added an additional goal to his tally this month which brings him 1 away from double figures for his second season!
deez0r
April 2021 Results League Table Telford win the league by 4pts in the end and we will be joined in the playoffs by Gateshead, York. Hereford, Kidderminster and Chester. At the bottom of the table Gloucester, Curzon, Leamington and Braintree all go down! Jimbo Kav Watch No more goals for Jimbo, he will have to get his double figures in the playoffs! Youth Intake As expected a terrible intake where I have only signed the top 3. Misc. New contract has been signed! However we have a number of big players turning down contract renewals! Our big player brought in to partner Linton is out for up to a year, big big miss for playoffs! deez0r
Playoffs First Round We draw Kidderminster in the first round, we haven't beaten them this season, losing 2-0 away and drawing 2-2 at home. What a time for Jimbo to miss his first penalty but thankfully it didn't cost us. A stunning goal from Shabani won it late on!
