Hi guys, just been reading through the posts, all sounding good, would like to share my experiences, started the game in version 9.0.2 and had some frustrating times, but have persisted and finally found a good 4-4-2 formation which is working well. Currently in Feb 2013 (5th season) with no cup wins (beaten scot cup finalist once and numerous semi-finals) league finishes have been as follows:

08/09 7th

09/10 5th

10/11 4th

11/12 3rd - meaning ECC place due to Scotland coefficient - all top 6 earned europe - which means board are almost always happy if beginning of season expectation is euro qualification through league finish.

12/13 currently 2nd, 10 behind the unbeatable celtic but 9 ahead of rangers in 3rd after 25 games.

Current season i got to the champs league groups luckily beating Feyrnoord and Olympiakos in the qualifying rounds, but drew Inter and Ajax and stood no chance of progressing but managed to get 3rd ahead of fenerbahce so still in uefa cup, currently 1 each with spartak moscow after 1st leg

Squad/Transfers

only spent 2.8m over the 5 seasons, mainly get frees and scout european international u21's and u19s teams to get cheap talent (worth checking Ajax for regens, bargains to be had) - have stayed clear of south americans as cant get the work permits.

Notable cheap and free signings have been:

- ruben ramos (atl madrid) brilliant signing 53 goals in 78 games over 2 years, but wouldnt re-sign contract and left for free, struggled to find a consistent scorer since.

- Danny Wilson - rangers centre back, only 21 now and is irriplaceable, rejected a couple of 5m bids, will prob be off at end of season as in unhappy and wants move to bigger team

- Diamond, sold for 2.2m resigned free a at start of season 5, rock at the back with wilson

- Rodney Sniejder - wesleys little bro, brilliant in all 4 midfield positions

- Jack Wilshere - on 9k a week, didnt get a game for arsenal and was unattached at end of season 4

- Fausto Rossi - juventus left winger - looks set to leave for bigger team in the summer

- alexandre coeff -Lens centre mid, absolute superstar, again looks like set for a bigger team

- Jose baxter - free from everton, right winger or CF, brilliant in either pos, although could do with more goals

- Adel Taarabt - amc from spurs, retrained as CF when i new ramos was leaving, has helped fill the void, but not enough goals

- danny welbeck - free from man utd, was unatached for 5 or 6 months so in the reserves getting his fitness, will hopefully fill the void of ruben ramos and get the 30 goal a season im looking for

luckily all the above are on at least 3 yr deals, so if they leave i am guaranteed good money

i have had loads of others coming in and moving on to fill the gaps while i try and build my team of young guns (average age is currently 20)

Sold a total of £11.25m with major money made from James gibson signed for 16k sold for 1m, lewis young free from watford sold for 775k without playing, 1m for mulgrew, 1m for haining, 700k for danny livesey, 1.3m for Chris Maguire, 775k for offiong

discovered if you can get through the first 2 seasons on tight budget, your loan is then paid off and you can start bringing in money without the crippling monthly interest payments - i currently have 15m in the bank, mainly from my champs league run - board still only gave me 3m to spend although do have 132k pw wage budget, which i like as i prefer not to spend the cash and scout for cheap and free transfers as stated above

hopefully didnt waffle on to long, but hopefully i can get a league win next season if i can keep hold of the bulk of the team

cheers

I have done loads of wheeling and dealingin the transfer market this season but most notebly is

Israel Sesay Forward (USA) this guy is just Brill for me, 34 goals in one season.

As you can see by the league table we came 3rd just behind Rangers and Celtic.

I managed to retain both Cups beating Hearts in the League Cup 3 - 0

and I beat Rangers 3 - 0 in the Scottish Cup :-)

In Europe I came last in the group winning 1 match and getting beat in the others :-(

Biggest Win: Rangers 0 Aberdeen 4 in the League.

Yes its true I won the league in just 3 season with Aberdeen :-)

I was beaten in the Qtr Final by Hearts 4 -2, after leading 2 - 0 :-(

I beat Celtic 2 - 1

Seasy is scoring goals for Fun, and i rotate Sturridge, Maguire & Paolucci to play along side him.

I got an offer for Aluko for over 5mil so took it and have backed up my squad with some good players, namely Andrew Driver for 3.2 mil, just sold him for 4.5 after a year.

Zandr Diamond is my captain and is also in the Scotland team and making the place his.

Season 2011/2012 - Update

I have done some good deals in the Transfer Market, at one point I had 8 mil to spend,

so i spent 6 mil on a CD called Paletta to play along side Diamond and so far its a great partnership.

I have also signed Fleck from Rangers for 1.1 mil and he is shaping up to be a good winger for me.

I also have 9 regens who all look good and all bought for under 250k each which is good.

Starting line up this season:

I'm surprised that the OP doesn't rate Gary Macdonald. His stats are pretty good (decent technical and physical stats, very good mental stats) and I have always found that he performs very solidly in the CM role if you ask him to make forward runs. Chips in with plenty of goals.

Finally rejoining the ranks as Aberdeen manager after having to fork out for a new PC and activate FM again.....months without any game time, I was having withdrawal symptoms.

Anyway I'm only one match into the actual season so far having just beaten Caley Thistle 3-0. All 3 goals in the last 15 minutes, I was starting to panic that they were going to stage a bit of a smash and grab.

Haven't been too active in the transfer market as yet, not sold anyone...offered Maguire and got that 'There has been no interest shown in ...blah blah' message. Probably still going to try and offload him along with a couple of others, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday are sniffing around Seve so might cash in on him if either offer 500,000 or more.

The only 2 signings I've made so far are Michael Morton from Orlando Pirates for 110,000 (Had him on my original Dons savegame and he was well worth it) and Parejita Lopez. Lopez is a 28 yo Mexican right winger and he was available on a free after being released by Cruz Azul. He's made an impact already, won man of the match against Caley after coming off the bench and setting one goal up and scoring our second. I did have a deal agreed for a Bolivian right back called Pavel Caicedo but he didn't get a work permit so that was scrapped.

Assuming I manage to offload a couple players to bring some cash in my main aims will be to buy another GK to challenge Clangers, someone else to partner Lee Miller and possibly another centreback to help Diamond.

Will try and keep this more up to date than last attempt.

I finally patched to 9.03 and am using TBH’s excellent-looking tactics sets this time.

Feb of 1st season, sitting 3rd right now, but its nip-and-tuck between ourselves, United and Hearts.

Signings –

Defenders - David Barron (RB) from St Mirren £100k

Midfielders - Iain Vigurs £50k and Lewis Stevenson £300k

Winger - A 30-year old Uruguayan freebie who I can't remember the name of right now. Baldie heed.

Strikers - Bolivia’s record scorer Joaquín Botero, Argentinian Geronimo Barrales

Also extended deals for Mulgrew, Diamond and Miller cos that’s caught me out before and couldn't get them to re-sign.

Bosman's coming in -

I've got Brian McLean coming from Well (will replace Mair as back-up centre back.

Michael Stewart from Hearts - was very pleasantly surprised to beat Birmingham to his signature

Langfield

Barron - Diamond - Considine - Mulgrew

Baldie - Kerr - Vigurs - Aluko

Botero - Miller

Just finished Season 1. Fairly happy, got third, and was only 5 points behind 2nd at the split. Fell away a wee bit.

Paulo here's some players for you...................

Bringing in Mark Reynolds, Andy Dorman, Leigh Griffiths, Joss Labadie and Michael Stewart in the summer.

Still want a quality right-back, Barron's okay but not great. So next season's line up should look like

Langfield

Barron - Diamond - Reynolds - Mulgrew

Varela - Stewart - Dorman - Aluko

Boreto - Miller

Considine, Stevenson, Vigurs, Pawlett, Barrales, Labidie, Griffiths, Maguire the main back-up players.

Come on Reds.

Right a further update of my first season with the Dons, carrying on from above. I'm taking it quite slow and I've only actually played up till christmas so far, but I'll give the details of my first transfer window spending and the first round of results against the other SPL teams.

As I said I was being pretty cautious in the transfer market to start with and was having some real trouble offloading any players. Having no luck at all in getting anyone to take the bait for Mackie or any of the other excess. I finally managed to sell Maguire to Celtic for 800,00 and De visscher went off to Killie for 100,000....but I didn't get any concrete bids for any of my other players.

I'd already signed Michael Morton from Orlando Pirates and picked the winger Lopez on a free.

(Screenie for Lopez: http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/161/24parejitalpez.png) Hoping that works!

After selling the Maguire I added the young South American keeper that a couple of you recommended on here (I'm at work and can't remember his name) and the DC Carlos Tordoya to play alongside Xander. I also made a bid for the striker Laurito and it was accepted and he'll be arriving in the summer after his loan spell is finished.

I made a bid for Cevasco and it was accepted, but I'd left it too late and the deal fell through due to the transfer window closing, I put the bid back in and Cevasco will arrive in January along with little Rodney Sneijder who I put in a bid of about 75,000 for.

I was still a little worried about cover for some positions so after the window closed I took a trawl through the available free agents and picked up 3 French lads and a brazilian right back called Evanillson. The 3 frenchmen were Eric Cubilier a D/WB/RL, Oilivier Bernard the ex-newcastle D/WB/L and a DC/DM/MC called David Terrier as a back up to Seve and Morton.

(Screenies for the Frenchies:http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/820/32davidterrier.png ; http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/7749/31olivierbernard.png ; http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/3662/29ericcubilier.png)

I was planning to play a pretty simple 4-4-2 formation, tweaked depending on opposition, possibly a 4-1-4-1 if I wanted to be more defensive.

Assuming I got these screenshots to work....big if for me!.....I'll update the first 11 results and our league form in the next post.

Not doing too much ducking and diving during July and August I was doing a lot of tinkering with my formation and team instructions and had stuck with 4-4-2, the pre-season friendlies went relatively well, highlights being beating Bordeaux 2-0, Port Vale 7-0 and a very creditable 2-1 defeat to a strong Arsenal side, we actually had 2 goals chalked off in that game so I was pretty pleased with the performances overall.

We started with the home game to Caley Thistle and while we were dominating the game we were struggling to score till I sent on the newly signed Lopez for his debut, 20 minutes later he'd turned the game, setting up Miller for the first, scoring the second and generally wreaking havoc down the flank. The following game away to Motherwell I started Lopez on the bench again as he wasn't totally match fit yet. Although we took the lead through Miller again, Well equalised and we were struggling till I sent on Lopez and this time he set one up almost immediately before scoring the 3rd in the last minute of the game.

The next game was of course the first against one of the Ugly Sisters, Rangers at Todders....sticking with the seemingly successful tactics of the first games we got off to a screamer with Seve thumping home a 25yard volley inside 2 mins...and then all hell broke loose and my players seemed to ditch tactics. We went 2-0 up, only to be pegged back to 2-2 within 25 minutes, came in at half time 3-2 down to a Kenny Miller hatrick (Kenny Miller!!!). We equalised almost straight away only for Miller to score a 4th and then Rangers battered us for another 15minutes and then another twist, 2 break away goals from us...one by none other than Mr Mackie.

Final Score Aberdeen 5-4 Rangers..........I have no idea how. http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/8734/wtfn.jpg

After climbing down off the ceiling i carried on with next 2 games and we out in very mediocre performances...struggling against Brechin in the League Cup...finally winning 4-1 in extra time when they tired...and then escaping with a lucky 1-1 draw against St Mirren. The only good thing in those games was that Miller seemed to be linking up really well with the winger Lopez who was getting at least an assist every game.

A little run of home games got us back on track though with a comfortable 2-0 win against Hamilton, a Lee Miller brace and then tonking Dundee Utd 5-0 with Miller, Aluko and Seve all on target and Tordoya bagging 2 from corners.

That took us upto the next Old Firm game away to Celtic which I was really dreading, on my previous lost save we'd always struggled against them, and got a couple of real whippings. This ended up another total freak of a game, despite me sending the players out in a more conservative version of the 4-4-2 it went end to end, with goals being scored tit for tat. With a couple minutes left Miller managed to squeeze in a header at the near post from another Lopez cross.

Final Score Celtic 3-4 Aberdeen http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/1193/celticvaberdeen.png

That left us sitting top of the table so of course at this point I was starting to feel a little cocky and although we drew our next game against Hibs we totally dominated so I wasn't too concerned, Miller was scoring freely, the rest of the team were pitching in, we were creating plenty chances, having lots of possession. We duly won the next game at Falkirk 2-1.

By now feeling really smug I sent out an unchanged side against Hearts at Tynecastle and came crashing back to earth....despite mostly controlling the game we lost 1-0 :- http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/3160/heartsvaberdeen.png

Even worse we picked up injuries to Lopez, Morton and Seve...Lopez was the biggest miss as he was very much the goal creator for us, already well into double figures for assists and also handy at tracking back to help his full back. We managed to ease past Hibs in the next round of the League Cup 3-1, but we'd both fielded weakened sides...but there was a ray of light in that we drew Dundee Utd for the semis and the Old Firm have to play each other.

We went into the next game against Killie and really struggled up front without Lopez to ping the crosses over and Sone also getting crocked we limped to a dull 0-0 draw and from having been sitting pretty on top of the league a couple weeks ago we were now back in 3rd below both Celtic and Rangers (who'd overhauled us despite losing 2 of their first 4 games)

Screenshot of the 1st 11 league games and the League Cup:- http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/3866/aberdeen3.png

All in all it's been a pretty bright start but the last couple of performances felt like a real let down after those freakish Old Firm results....Miller started on fire but has struggled the last couple of games and I'm hoping he isn't headed for a long spell in the doldrums. Seve has signed a new contract and was playing well for me before his injury, Mulgrew and Aluko have generally been very good down the left while Xander has been impressive, but overshadowed slightly by Tordoya..Bolton and Blackburn are both sniffing around Xander though so might struggle to hold onto him in January. The free signings have all slotted in surprisingly well even the rather ancient Terrier has coped well, Lopez has been the revelation so far and I'm hoping he fins his way back to form quickly once he gets back from injury.

here's hoping I can string a similar set of results together during the next 11 league games and we can keep pace with the Forces of Darkness into the january transfer window.

Sorry about the length of the post lads and the double posting but I decided I'd try and make a btter fist of detailing my exploits this time round.

Update from me.

Season 2, Celtic ran away with league whilst us, Hearts and Rangers battled for 2nd. Ended up I’d to go to Ibrox and win the final game to claim runner-up spot. Lost 2-1.

Only had 1 player ask to leave for bigger club so far – Iain Vigurs at the end of Season 2. His value was around £1.2m, I offered him at £4m, and NK Dinamo Zagreb bought it! But then discovered I’d agreed 35% future fee to ICT so handed them £1.4m.

Now, pre-season 3 and I’ve a warchest of £2.9m with £9k/week being my top wage offering. So will look to replace Vigurs and perhaps bring in a top keeper. Don’t want to tinker too much as they’ve really started to gel, took 15 points more in Season 2 than in Season 1 with largely the same squad. There’s loads of clubs sniffing round my players but hopefully I can hold onto my excellent young squad.

Season 3 and I went a little bit backwards, ended up coming third (again) but with fewer points than the previous season.

I’m hopeful of breaking into top 2 in Season 4, but as an added bonus Rangers’ runner-up in the Europa League last season means Scotland will have 3 Champions League places in Season 5. So I’ll surely manage to get there.

Season 4, started poorly. 1-0 defeats away to Hibs and Rangers in the league, threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Celtic, but a pretty tough start and I’m sure we’ll go on a run now.

Europa League play-off I drew a tough unseeded team in Groningen and looked out when I lost 2-0 in the first leg. Bugles duly sounded in the home tie, and a McGhee/Ujpesti Dosza-like hat-trick from new signing Dave Nugent saw us through. After two seasons of narrowly missing out on getting through the Group stage I’m aiming to get this done this time.

Still haven’t won a cup either. Its all looking a bit Calderwood on that front.

GK – Marlon Filop (Hungarian international)

RB – Angulo Borbon (or something like that, Costa Rica international)

CB – Zander Diamond

CB – Mark Reynolds

LB – Charlie Mulgrew

RM – Rodney Sneijder (Wesley’s brother)

CM – Michael Stewart

CM – Joss Labadie

LM – Sone Aluko

AMC – Ruben Micael

S – Dave Nugent

Other squad players are Derek Riordan, Lewis Stevenson, Andy Dorman, Jakub Sylvestr, Peter Pawlett, Leigh Griffiths and a healthy numbers of high quality regens.

After an atrocious start to the season, where I picked up only one point from the opening 4 league games I was always playing catch up, spending most of the first half of the season around 7th place. Poor form from lone frontman Lee Miller and the team having to adjust to a new formation and personnel didn't help either, but by the time January came around things were looking much better and we started going on unbeaten runs of 6 games at least a couple of times. By the time the split came my side we're in prime position for 4th place by 2 points, jostling back and forth with Motherwell but around 10 points behind Hearts for 3rd. I never even considered the thought of 3rd being a possibility. Three wins and 2 defeats later I was ecstatic looking at the league table that we actually leapfrogged Hearts after the last game, who's only win in the split came against me and then suffered 3 consecutive 2-1 defeats before grabbing a draw against Celtic.

Old Firm Watch

| Team | Pld | Won | Drn | Lst | For | Ag | Results
| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Soundly beaten by Celtic in all 4 games bar the last one, where we spurned a few chances to get a draw on the backfoot. Against Rangers we faired a bit better, with the first win against the Old Firm happening at Todders in January and a superb 2-1 win in Mordor after the split where we thoroughly outplayed them for large spells and were 2-0 up for most of the match.

Selling Clangers did not please Zander, but he quickly got over it. I looked throughout this thread for suggestions for players to buy at the start and can only conclude it was much easier to sign players outwith the EU before the 9.3 patch, as most of them stand no chance of getting a work permit. My best bits of business this season have undoubtably been Roman Zozulya, Franco Zuculini and Tim Clancy. All 3 slotted into my first team squad straight away and are very consistent performers. Clancy in particular came in January to replace loanee Hodgkiss and ended up outperforming him. To manage to get wonderkids Zuculini and Borysiuk at Aberdeen (though doubtable they'll achieve that status here) left me delighted and I'm excited about the future with them around.

Vigurs is valued at 1m after only a season, tempted to sell him now but I think I'll hang onto him and wait. Most of my other new signings are all very young and used as backups for my first XI. Considine has displaced (night)Mair for a spot in the starting eleven while Kerr and Vigurs will now have to tussle for a starting spot alongside Zuculini in MC. I retrained a lot of players, Pawlett and Maguire as AMR's, Gary McDonald, Sammy Stewart and Ariel Borysiuk as AMC's and Ricky Foster as an AML for cover, though he has struggled to become accomplished there. It's a squad that may be a little on the large side now, I'm happy with the depth with several players being able to cover any position but of course the only way is up for quality.

Three Of The Best

Each season I'll pick the 3 best players that done the business for me.

Original Favourites

Sone Aluko was awarded Young Player Of The Year for his solid efforts down the left flank (40apps, 9gls, 12ass, 7.24avr).

Zander Diamonds great season was only really marred by 3 red cards (31apps, 9gls, 2ass, 7.09avr).

Lee Miller had a poor 1st half to the season but goals and ratings much improved in the 2nd (35apps, 13gls, 5ass, 6.79avr).

New Signings

Franco Zuculini arrived in January and played like he's been here for years. Scored a stunning hattrick to almost singlehandedly sink Motherwell 4-2 away from home (17apps, 6gls, 2ass, 7.31avr)

Roman Zozulya kept fellow recruit Eduardo Salvio out of the first team all season long in the AMR position with sheer consistency and damage down the right flank (36apps, 3gls, 9ass, 6.96avr)

Brian Murphy was the man to replace Clangers, and after such a poor start to the season I thought I'd made a big mistake, but he's looking like being a great first choice keeper for me now (41apps, 47cnc, 16cln, 6.87avr)

An improvement on our first season, we even challenged the old firm in the league in the first half, but a poor run of results after new year let them both pull away. Injuries played their part, as my left wingers Sone Aluko and Killian Brennan spent plenty of time on the injury table, along with Zander Diamond who also got sent off twice. Zander does not like being fined, he feels he's being treated unfairly every time I do, so I may just have to go against my normal rule and only give him warnings every time he does in future. The squad is still not strong enough to dislodge the old firm quite yet, but there seems to be a bit of a gap developing between us and all of the teams below, we finished 17 points above Hearts this time round. Another 3rd place finish next season will see us cement our place as the third force in scottish football, but I'm not going to be happy with just that, my longterm aim is to first split the old firm and then win the title, as it should be.

In the cups we were knocked out in the 3rd Round of the League Cup away to Hibs 1-0, but in the Scottish Cup we made it to the semi finals, narrowly losing to Rangers 1-2 at Hampden, a game we should really have won given the performance. It was our first season in europe and we qualified for the group phase by drawing away to FC Arges 1-1 before trouncing them 5-0 at Pittodrie. We were handed a very tough draw, with Everton, Fiorentina and Rosenborg in our group and despite a good start beating Rosenborg 3-0 at home, it was followed by 2-0 and 1-0 away defeats to Everton and Fiorentina respectively. We then beat Rosenborg 2-0 away to give us hope. but were dominated at home by Everton, losing 3-1 to knock us out of the group. We saved some pride by drawing 0-0 at home with Fiorentina.

Results against both Old Firm sides improved and I was especially happy beating Celtic both times at home this time round. We played Rangers twice in a row, beating them 2-1 in the league, which left me hopeful that we could do it again in the cup a week later, but it wasn't to be despite a great performance. Overall, there was more draws than I was really happy with against Rangers, something to work on next season. It's not just the results that are better though, our performances against the top 2 have much improved, which makes me think the team has come a long way since last season.

Not much money spent on players this season with one exception, John Bostock. 700k is my record purchase, and while I was wary of spending so much on one player my scouts recommendations made me think I would be stupid not to. I was very happy with signing Killian Brennan (formerly of Bohemians) as well and for such a cheap price, half of the 40k Motherwell bought him for. I sold Mark Kerr because Zuculini, Borysiuk and Vigurs were all either playing too well or were too good a prospect to not let them develop with first team matches, I also had plenty of cover with Gary McDonald and Sammy Stewart able to play in the MC role and 700k is a lot of money.

The big move for me came in January, when Celtic came looking at Iain Vigurs unsettling him. I made the decision to sell him there and then and managed to squeeze 1.8m out of Wigan, with the bonus of getting him out of the SPL, something I always prefer. The transfer only happened on the second last day of the window though so I had to act fast and brought in James McCarthy for a bargain 140k. Overall a great bit of business selling Vigurs for 10 times what I had bought him for and bringing in a great prospect who should turn out even better for under what I had bought Vigurs for in the first place. Czech youngster Vaclav Kadlec was very highly rated potential-wise by my scouts and was very cheap so I snapped him up. Albert Prosa was not performing with the chances I gave him in the first team when Miller got injured, so when I was given the chance to make my money back in January I promptly took it.

Our finances are looking much healthier now, with the loan you always start the game with now wiped out we are no longer hovering in the red and currently have a very healthy £6.59m in the bank. Because of this, my budget for the forthcoming season will be a whopping £3.4m and I have an extra £32,500 per week headroom to play with from my £68k p/w wage budget, but there are a lot of contracts up in a years time. Reported turnover for the year was £6m, a staggering 40% of the turnover.

Lee Miller, Andrew Considine, Charlie Mulgrew and Roman Zozulya's values have all shot up considerably and with free signings Ruben Ramos and Leigh Griffiths both valued at over half a million without really featuring for me this season I should be able to make a good profit on them both if they never make it. There is perhaps a little too much competition for me now in certain positions I feel, namely at GK, DC and AMC. I've already agreed to sign young Romanian keeper Silviu Lung Jr for 250k once the transfer window opens so that will make 4 goalkeepers, 3 of which I've signed in 2 seasons and I really won't require that many, so it's the first thing I'll be looking at. Rapnik, Fidjeland and Holm are all good prospects, but with 3 older centre backs their chances will be limited unless I look at selling someone. In the AMC role 4 players for one place is a lot and with McDonald not producing the goods this season like he did the last he will probably be the first to go.

This season has seen my first regen enter the first team squad, as soon as I saw him at 16 I just had to put him straight in amongst the first team squad and my coaches believe he will be a quality player. Here's an image of him after his first season in the game:

Three Of The Best

Original Favourites

-Franco Zuculini had a great first full season finishing equal 3rd top scorer with Charlie Mulgrew and getting the fans player of the season. It's just unfortunate that he now wants to leave for a bigger club, but with another 2 years left on his contract I'm going to try to squeeze as much out of a club as possible (43apps, 9gls, 10ass, 7.18avr).

-Zander Diamond had another great season but picked up another 2 red cards (35apps, 11gls, 2ass, 7.12avr).

-Lee Miller smashed his goal tally from last season and was a lot more consistent (42apps, 22gls, 8ass, 6.93avr).

New Signings

-Killian Brennan was so impressive with Aluko injured it took a while before Sone could get back into the first team, but Brennans form dipping during the second half of the season. Runner up for the SPL's signing of the season, his 17 for free kicks make him invaluable when Mulgrew isn't on the pitch (20apps, 7gls, 10ass, 7.23avr)

-John Bostock had a good first season, showing real glimpses of the quality that is to come with some direct dribbling at defenders or into any space that he see's on the park. The future is bright for him (31apps, 6gls, 5ass, 7.01avr)

-James McCarthy put in some decent performances with the few games he was given (6apps, 1gl, 2ass, 7.04avr)
