tlm_77
I didn't realise until just checking that it's nearly 10 years of Football Manager as we now know it. I've been a player of CM/FM since the beginning in the early 90's but I'd wrongly assumed that FM had been FM for a lot longer. I wonder, are SI planning anything in celebration of 10 years as Football Manager in 2014? It's a nice land mark to reach and I would love to see something from SI / Sega to celebrate. Perhaps we could allow ourselves a bit of an early thought into next year while we eagerly await FM14. I'm not sure what SI may think about this but perhaps FM15 may be 'special edition' in some form? Or perhaps some limited edition FM stuff? (I'd buy it!). Any thoughts? Sikker
As far as I remember they celebrated their 20th anniversary last year. There was nothing really special about it except it was 20 years... So I don't think you should expect any fireworks...

tlm_77
Well, you're probably right. Still, I think they should mark the 10th anniversary of FM. It's a long time and they've been number 1 all those years. They should celebrate it by patting themselves on the back for a start and then also perhaps offer the fans something too. Just a pleasant thought.
Crispypaul
Isn't' it 9 years? As FM2005 was the 04/05 season not 03/04.
Smurf
FM 2005 was released on 5 November 2004. It was the 04/05 season. Basically - 12 February 2004 Eidos and SI split. 12 February 2014 will be 10 years.

IWWROCKS
Isn't' it 9 years? As FM2005 was the 04/05 season not 03/04. FM15 will be the anniversary game (not to say they'll do anything, but if anything marks 10 years it'll be that) I was confused at first too, but OP does say 2014 is anniversary not FM14 which is correct (I read it as FM14 is the anniversary originally too)
