Training Unhappiness

Hello guys,

For some reason several of my players are "unhappy with their training lately", but they dont point out anywhere why they are unhappy. What could it be?! Dont think its the workload because its on average now...

maybe you're putting extra focus on training for that particular player? for example training his pace

or retraining positions?

i've found my players are happy when i put extra focus, but it goes wrong when i put extra focus on 1 attribute as well as retrain for another position at the same time

I've had this happen a fair amount too.

Five or six players unhappy with training despite good facilities, good coaches, average intensity and no tutoring/new PPM's/new positions etc.

So solution is to put them on extra training?!

no, to take them off extra training, if they are on it at all. this could be causing it (or at least, has been so in my case)

There's a thread in the Tactics Forum by Cleon about Ajax which touches on Training.

If the players affected have high professionalism, it may be because they perceive that they aren't being worked hard enough, not because they are working too hard.

It depends on the player. Young players will tire earlier while players with high profesionality will think you are to soft if you dont push them.

Well, on the player Training tab he explains why he is unhappy... Usually it's because of too much work, but some complain about low training too.

i think half my team is always unhappy with the high training but they never make an issue of it, everyone's on heavy or very heavy load and though the unhappiness note always being there the players just sulk it and get on with it

I have my match prep on 50% and intensity on High and it says Medium but they are even unhappy when it says Light and say workload too high. In my save, it is December, and we have almost completely learnt our 3 tactics.

My theory is that it is very much linked to your bonuses you set at the start of the preseason. I found my players worked harder on High bonuses and they also did not have such high demands in contract renewals, particularly in the Promotion Bonus clause. In my current save, while they do not suffer morale dents and say "Unhappy about low league bonus", there are those effects I described. They are lazy and demand more money.

Pro tip: always give high league bonus.

I just ignore their unhappiness with training. It never seems to affect the players overall morale. At least I don't think it does.
