Brobs17
IF YOU HAVE TWITTER FOLLOW ME https://twitter.com/#!/Brobs17 Hey guys!!! First of all ANY TEAM CAN USE THIS TACTIC. PLEASE USE THIS HOME AND AWAY Sorry about the wait for my tactic as I've not had my laptop in function recently but now I have finally made it. I also apologise for the delay of the release as I wasn't complete convinced that it was 'the one' but now I most definitely am. I've had great success teams as low as Wycombe to Wigan to Newcastle to Stoke to Fulham and to Chelsea. All of these teams this tactic has worked for but I do STRESS that you MAY need to give this tactic time (say 7-10 matches) but for most of new (especially the better clubs in the division, It should work right away). Firstly, WOW this patch has been HARD. Alot of credit to the other tactical gurus out there! To make a successful tactic has been hard that you can use on a consistent basis. The Match Engine took ages for me to figure out and it's got a hell of a lot wider which requires higher pressure on the ball and a higher defensive line (in my opinion). Anyway down to the tactic. It is a 4-1-2-3 formation. PLEASE DON'T TINKER WITH IT... IT IS SET UP AS GOOD AS IT CAN BE AFTER EXTENSIVE TESTING The Tactic is again on how I think Football should be played. Football is not about short passing but about selecting the right pass whether long or short - its about having a Plan B if Plan A is not working. The only way way that this tactic may slip up on is if the game cheats you out of a win and with the AI keeper having the game of this life which is pretty damn frustrating. The Tactic is based on zonal positioning so the team know there jobs and positioning before a ball has even been kicked rather than basing marking on how the opposition set up and altering the positioning of the team depending on how AI plays i.e different opposing formations. I also want to make a point of playing players who are fresher and have a better condition if possible. AI really takes the condition of players into account and the better the condition of the players the better they will perform. Try to have a squad of atleast 25 squad players who are all good enough to fill into the first team. And rest your better players if you have a big game coming up etc. So down to the tactic: It is a 4-1-2-3 formation (my specialty) (make sure these settings/rules are followed): PLEASE PLUG IN THIS TACTIC AT THE VERY START OF THE GAME OR IN PRE-SEASON IF YOU ARE IN YOUR SECOND SEASON. Pitch Size: Minimum Plug and Play tactic (classic) NO Opposition Instructions Team talks to assistant manager No match shouts as it is a Classic Tactic. Match preparation Work Load: Average Additional Area Focus: Defensive Positioning --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Player requirements: GK: Jumping, Reflexes, One on Ones and Rushing out CBs Jumping, heading, stamina, tackling and marking FBs Positioning Tackling Pace Heading Marking Team Work Workrate DMC Passing, tackling, marking, stamina. CMS Pass and technique and workrate For 3 Strikers Pace, dribbling, technique, acceleration, off the ball and finishing. PLUG AND PLAY TACTIC. Do not tinker with the tactic Set-piece are set up in the tactic. Give it 7-8 games to settle in and do not tinker with the tactic or put OI's on. Although it should be working quicker than this if you have plugged it in at pre-season. Please plug and play this and do not let the computer simulate results. On team instructions I have ticked counter attack, use target man and use playmaker. It gets the ball up to the strikers more quicker by enabling this in the team instructions. There is no specific playmaker/target man so do NOT drag players into the 'playermaker' or 'target man' option. If my team goes down to 10 men = Take a central midfielder off... its vital to keep 3 strikers in this tactic, due to the special marking upfront. Let me know what you think of it, any enjoy the tactic especially those of you who prefer to manage smaller clubs! I'm certain you will enjoy it, have fun. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/151/wiganvmanutdstatsmatchs.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/718/wiganvmanutdstatsplayerc.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/205/southamptonvwiganstatsm.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/502/arsenalvfulhamstatsmatc.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/824/liverpoolvfulhamstatsma.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/689/manutdvfulhaminformatio.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/856/liverpoolvstokestatsmat.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/23/parissaintgermainvfulha.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/59/parissaintgermainvfulha.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/69/stokevastonvillastatsma.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/192/chelseavmancitystatsmat.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/31/mancityvwiganinformatio.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/10/evertonvwiganinformatio.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/16/liverpoolvwiganstatsmat.png/ This is how I set out my Team Policy in case you were wondering: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/710/newcastleoverviewteampo.png/ TACTIC LINK: Gamefront http://www.gamefront.com/files/21659251/Brobs17+Ultimate+12.2.2+www.twitter.com_Brobs17.tac OR Mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/?dqw35dmkjqvjb2o Let me know what you think of it, any enjoy the tactic especially those of you who prefer to manage smaller clubs! IAmAhab
3 first results in Serie A - playing as Palermo ( 1 transfer - Kadlec ): Juventus at home - won 4-1 Roma away - won 2-0 AC Milan home won 3-1 In Euro Cup lost to Tottenham 4-1 - they've absolutely dominated the game Also notice that team is getting a lot red cards - last 5 games 3 reds. But have to say it's very goods tactic.
rich_barnes
Started a new game in Blue Square North but only managed 3 games before my game crashed but all 3 were wins and one was a 9-0 away win although I did tweak it at half time when I was 4-0 up. I think I won the other two games 5-2 and 6-1 but not sure. Starting a new game again now with Dartford in the BSS and hopefully no crashes this time. Will let you know how it goes. ChiccO
Been using it for about 5-6 games bro and it's looking good so far. 5 wins 1 draw. The draw coming against the best side I've played yet. Tactic still not fluid and there's one or two positions I'd still like to strengthen. 2 thumbs up so far though!
Deejay84
Having a bit of a bad time with this tactic so far, would appreciate any suggestions. Not sure if this is due to it being so early in the game or that I've added 4-5 players to my squad. New game - playing as Newcastle. Quite a few signings in (Guti, dodo, dawson, yaya sanego, wellington nem - mostly youngsters). Pre season went really well, no indication of getting yellow cards etc, won I believe all but one, good result home to Benfica 4-1 as well. Then the season started... H vs Tottenham 0-1 A vs QPR 0-0 H vs Preston 6-1 A vs Liverpool 3-1 (barely had a shot on goal, reina scored own goal) H vs Bolton 4-1 A vs Chelsea 3-1 (they were quite a lot better) A vs Middlesbrough (1-3) H vs Wolves 0-0 That's my season so far... If I am lucky, I'll only get 2 yellow cards per game (twice had 4), Steven taylor has been sent off twice. (Any tips on how to reduce that?) As it is a "plug and play" tactic I haven't altered anything, only take a team talk once in a while if I believe my assistant is wrong - no opposition/individual tweaks etc. Secondly, how can I shore up defensively? Obviously dodo as LB ain't a world beater at the moment (Yaya Sanego up front seems to be doing quite well though) - Is it simply that I need better defenders? If so, any recommendations? Maybe I need to change who goes where of my 3 strikers and 3 midfielders.

Prelude
started a new game with alfreton town and after 13 games i was top of the league, had some really impressive results along the way however twice i have been fined for the amount of yellow cards in a game,so i put all players on normal tackling and lost the next game 4-1. Dont know if thats why i lost but ive also stopped using it for now as i have too few available players now lol. however generally the tactic is very good plays good football just needs to sort out tackling side, still well done brobs

m.u.f.c 1878
look at how you are conceding goals for starters, explain what is happening or upload videos or screenshots, make tweaks to overcome the oppositions attempts.By the way if you are only doing commentry and not watching highlights you will never succeed and give the tactic a false impression. rich_barnes
So far it is going well but I am using a Dartford side with some very good signings made for this level so it is expected that I do well really. I have another game running and I am using the previous brobs tactic and I am not really seeing any difference between this one and that one. Both very good but not sure a new thread with a new tactic was needed. Here is my current results, I will report back once the tactic has a real test because at the moment I am by far the best team in this league anyway and I have about 4-5 tactics which would also produce results like this. Brobs17
I found my previous tactics for previous patches didnt work for this patch. This patch had been an absolute nightmare. It seems it's been a real hit for some whilst not so Much for others. I'll look at it and hopefully bring out another update or two as I did last time. Thanks for the feedback
sergiolagartija
it´s working for me. used it during the second half of the season. 2nd in the spanish first divison, champions league runner up with celta de vigo (2015). i have a good team but definitely not an amazing squad. playing some youngster, even. i´m now building the team for the new season, i´ll keep on updating my results
rich_barnes
First real test and I was suprised at this result because I had my best striker suspended, another striker injured, my best centre back injured and my best centre mid had to be subbed at half time. Toonarmyadam
Just completed my second full season with this tactic and have to say it's nothing short of incredible. In my first season as Tottenham, I won the Premier League with a points tally of 91pts, 5 clear of second place. In that season I also won the Europa League and the League Cup. In my second season things got even better, I retained the Premier League with a points tally of 102pts, losing just 2 games all season. On top of the league success I won the Champions League, beating Bayern, Real Madrid and Milan on the way. This tactic is superb Brobs, thank you. sergiolagartija
still rebuilding my squad...wondering if a fullback with 19 in heading but 6 in jumping may do the job or if players who can´t defend can be used as midfielders as long as they have a good attribute in work rate. are slow center backs suitable for this tactic? thanks in advance! rich_barnes
I dont think slow centre backs are good in any tactic but this one uses a high defensive line and the offside trap so I would say pace is a priority if you can get it. I always look for centre backs with Pace, Acc and Jumping all around the 15 mark or above.

In fact if you just make sure your whole team has at least 15 pace and 15 acc you should find you do alot better even if you have average players because your players will get the ball more if they can get to it quicker than the opposition.
