silten
I'm sure many of you will feel my pain on this one. I'd just spent an hour adjusting training, organising tutors, PPMs, tweaked my tactics and got a nice easy draw in the Qtr Finals. On top of that, I'd finally ended my run of 12 games without a win, two of my youngsters had scored and gained a massive confidence boost. My whole team was buzzing and it felt like a corner had been turned. I inadvertently clicked on "Backroom Advice" and the game crashed. It's the first time ever FM12 has crashed on me and it chose now. Don't ask me how, but my monitor is still on my desk and there is no fist sized hole in the living room door. LMAO this made me laugh. But on a serious note, luckily this has never happened to me. I save quite regularly just in case
Smurf
I save after every single game that I play. Crashes happen. I also save to my dropbox folder which backs the file up online for me. Sorry for your loss.

scott MUFC
i save BEFORE every game. as late as possible. although at 1 point i forgot and had to redo a previous game.
Smurf
Yeh I used to save before games too... but then realised I was redoing games and didn't get enjoyment out of that. So I switched to saving after a game was played.
DarthCraigus
What a sickener I do indeed feel your pain. I've just got a brand new laptop so it'll be some time before I lash out at that in an FM induced rage, it'll have to be my wall or my door that feels the force! haha

Coentrao
I feel your pain as well, i save a lot of times during pre-season to avoid those problems, Ctrl+S for a quick save!
silten
Thanks all for the sympathy. I've got complacent with the saves due to crashing being such a rarity for me with FM12. On the plus side, having replayed the match, I still got the win. I also got the exact same QF draw, too. All in all the position I'm in now isn't too different from when it crashed, so I got away with somewhat.
