We have a new champion! BenArsenal has won the FMS Predictions League 2011-12 crown after getting the required 30+ point. He did it in style too by getting high score of the week. Spav got his heroic effort to move into second place but it only 3 points seperate 2nd to 5th that set ups a nice final week. Balthazars looks likely to finish below Mark Lawrenson and confounded that misery with dunce of the week.

Is it sad that I find this the happiest thing that has ever happened to me?

That said, thanks salkster for running the game through the season. Without you I wouldn't have been, well, champion. :D

Final Table

FMSPredictionLeague-28.png

Last Years Final Table:

PredictionLeague-5.png

HighScoresandDunces.png

Well that second place battle wasn't as close as it could have been. Spav runs away with second place after a good score of 11 but will feel aggrieved 263 points would have won the league last year. After 36 weeks of predicting just 1 point seperates this weeks dunces salkster2102 and Panpardus. Just to round of the season in style, Mark Lawrenson gets his only high score of the week on the final day moving up 3 places in the table.

Season Summary

There was no surprise who got the most high scores of the season. BenArsenal's ability to predict correct scores was truly outstanding. The most correct results was a lot more close fought but BenArsenal just scraped that award. This years Dunce of the Season goes unsurprisingly to Balthazars.

On a personal note thank you all for participating this year. Obviously less people taking part this year but I think that is mainly down to the forum being down most of last summer. I look forward to seeing you all again next year and for this years Euro 2012 Special.

Ninth. Last year I was ninth, too. And I'll probably finish ninth in the Fantasy League thing, too. I suddenly feel the urge to change my handle to match a certain idiot fairy's name...

And Mark Lawrenson wins the cup. Should we laugh or cry?

Cry. Absolutely, freaking cry. How could we have let this happen? :(

I was awful this season, utterly awful. Disastrous.

Salk, again, a stellar job with this. Always good fun and it's a bit of work to keep it all in order over the course of such a long season, so a big heartfelt "thanks" and a pat on the back from me. Great job. :applause:

Happy I got a better position than last year...Thanks Martin for doing this again mate. Looking forward to the Euro Special

Echo the statement above, except for the better position part!

Thanks
