stokes_83
I am so indecisive it is driving me nuts. Please help me make this decision. I need a central midfielder. I am Tottenham and I want a very high quality player but not sure I can afford the best available. I play 4-1-2-3 and my MC are basically spend all game trying through balls to my fast strikers as I score almost all my goals this way. I want a player who is an excellent passer, specfically on these long through balls I play. I also would like a guy who could score a few goals for me. Here's the choices: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z204/mike_bayes/ScreenShot031-1.gif Cost is around 12 million and $50K/week http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z204/mike_bayes/ScreenShot032.gif Cost is around 15 million and $50K/week http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z204/mike_bayes/ScreenShot033.gif Cost is 20 million and $65K/week http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z204/mike_bayes/ScreenShot034.gif Cost is 19 million and $110K/week * Not sure if could afford this guy, he might break the bank. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z204/mike_bayes/ScreenShot035.gif Cost is 18 million and $120K/week * Not sure if could afford this guy, he might break the bank. Who would you pick if you were me?
dafuge
How do your scouts rate them? What are the star ratings?
stokes_83
Here is how my best scout rates them. He is 20/20 for judging. 1) 3 star current - 3.5 pot 2) 3 star both current & pot 3) 3.5 both 4) 3.5 both 5) 3.5 both
Ackter
3 then 4 5 would be excellent as an all round player - but if you're only looking to go straight forward, creativity isn't that important.
Themer
Personally would go for number 5 but if he's close to breaking the bank then 3 or 4.
dafuge
I'd go for 1. Great physical attributes, cheaper than the others and room for improvement.
Ackter
I'd go for 1. Great physical attributes, cheaper than the others and room for improvement. 1 is pretty much at his potential IMO, as are the rest of them. Potential can be ignored.
dafuge
1 is pretty much at his potential IMO, as are the rest of them. Potential can be ignored. He might well be, but that half a star difference suggests to me that there is a chance he could improve a bit more, as opposed to the others who are less likely. I'd go for 1 in the blind hope that I could turn him into a star and save money, instead of the others who are possibly a safer bet.
Ackter
To be honest, I wouldn't buy any of them - I'd pump all the money into youth players for the future
dafuge
That's so last season
stokes_83
Alright gents....I went with #1. Got him for 12.5 million and $60k/week which is definately easier on the wallet than the others. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z204/mike_bayes/ScreenShot036.gif He is even better than my last scout report.....he just recently improved a few attributes. Thanks for your opinions hopefully it works out!
ashleythompson123
I'd go with the last one - looks better than the rest
hugo_rune
I'd have gone Ferreti as well from that lot. Hard worker, strong and fast, good determination and passing. Could pinch some goals for you as well.
BiggusD
Yes the first and last ones were the best choices. Since the last one could be a bit over the top when it comes to economy (but a better player), the first one was clearly the best option.
RBKalle
You picked the one I wouldn't have even considered... at least not for that pricetag... He's strong and pacey, but as for the rest he's pretty ordinary... He reminds me of how Fabian Delph turned out in my save: physically impressive but otherwise unremarkable. Quite frankly I think you went for the worst candidate
Sloppy Giuseppe
You should train him to try killer balls often
michaelthestrange
You should train him to try killer balls often I never got why you'd want someone to learn those PPM's that I think are just slider modifiers. Is there any advantage of having someone with 'tries killer balls often' over setting his 'tries through balls' instruction to often manually?
