MUFC95
Could you be more precise on the link?
Fabio MVP
No, there are lot of thread about complacency and a lot of threads about team talks, in which you can see how to deal with complacency. You just have to look, and not post in the wrong forum.
Cougar2010
Demand more from them, if you are big favourites to win (especially at home) demand a win.
speople
Demand more from them, if you are big favourites to win (especially at home) demand a win. Surely demanding a win (under any circumstances) puts your players under a lot of pressure, and would therefore make them 'play nervously' and be more prone to mistakes
Smurf
At the start of the match or at half time tell your captain that he has to prove a point, or expect better. Tell the media that you expect a professional job from your team and no team is easy to beat. Tell your team that you expect a win. And tell your most determined players that you expect a performance from them.

Some players need pushed and if they are determined/professional/can handle pressure they'll lift their game and not be complacent. Some get nervous for various reasons - young, can't handle the pressure etc, if you think a player will get nervous then you give him an individual talk. robertcornell68
I would have thought with Man U, you should be saying "I expect a win" almost every game. If players can't handle the pressure, bin them.
Georgik
i encountered the same problem, you have to be careful with your team-talks
llama3
i tell my arsenal side i expect a win in EVERY home game, and away games are a mix, you need to judge against your form, opponents, morale etc
