One small thing to note also.

As Metalurg DOnetsk, I started in 9Ee, promoted to 8Ee and have won the league, being promoted to Tier 7, but in the player histroies, it's labelling the first season (the one I was in 9Ee) for, as 8Ee.

Don't know if you're still checkingthis thread or not, but I tried creating 2 new games and holidaying them. One perma-crashed on 9th March 2014 and the next perma-crashed on 1st September 2012.

Don't suppose you have a save game file of a game that doesn't crash? Day 1 if possible...

It's strange you are getting this problem, my game is running from the exact same database that I've uploaded, and I've done extensive testing for many seasons each time without any crashing.

I've been running the XML with GillsMan's Injury Modeller, would they be colliding against each other to create in game serious errors at random times?

Because I set my database in Malaysia, I noticed they only had a small number of referees at the start of the game, so the game had to generate lots more to cope with 880 teams playing every week. So you end up with a bunch of random AI refs, all probably with poor stats.

So I decided to add in a few special guest referees with awesome stats, starting with Jack Bauer because if there is one person in the world you would not argue with, it's him. Then I added some more, mostly TV characters from shows I watch. Added in maybe 60 or more, so a lot of games are still managed by randoms, but am planning to add in hundreds in my FM11 project, so will probably run out of ideas myself and ask the forum to put forward any suggestions.

Just completed the treble with Man City - World League 1, World Super Cup and Under 23 Cup. Also got Eleven Men a second successive promotion up to League 8 - Africa quite pleased so far.

Also playing a hotseat game with 2 mates, just finished the first season where on the last day any one of 5 teams could still win the League 1 title, including the 3 of us. In the end it was Real Madrid under AI control who won, but this was easily the most exciting last day drama I've ever had on FM.

I'm pleased that so many of you have downloaded / are enjoying this database, but the main reason for creating it was to satisfy me which it has done so far!

You'll get some teams going to the wrong leagues - a few Spanish teams end up in the African leagues at lower levels - but generally I think it will be okay, just follow my tips from the OP.

Love the work you've done so far, especially the U23 cup to give youths a proper chance.

Performance really depends on how many players you load rather than the leagues. If you just go with small, medium or large database it will be quick but most of the lower league teams won't have any players at all, so it's worth adding in players from top division clubs in each continent and maybe all players from particular nations.

I am running a game with about 80000 players loaded and it goes alright.

The main thing I recommend is that you always start a game with all 10 leagues loaded, regardless of how many players, as otherwise you will get random Malaysian teams promoted into your bottom tier. A way around this if you just want to play perhaps to tier 4, is to go into the editor and remove any relegations from tier 4.

Reserves are in because I couldn't set an actual reserve league but I wanted them to have regular fixtures as I like the idea of keeping players match fit without having to set up loads of friendlies.

Next time I plan to put reserves for every single team in a non-playable lower league, it was just too time consuming to do it this time around.

To start with I just put in reserves from the top division, then added in a few more for teams that I was likely to manage at some point. You can easily swap in some other league teams if you don't want reserves.

I have downloaded this and it looks very good. However i have a major issue in the speed of processing the fixtures. I have a good PC and the out of the box with 10.3 works very quick. I have only the FIFA league loaded, large database and no extra nations loaded.

The processing of the fixtures especially in the early rounds of cups is so slow. It can take 10 minutes and more to process them and I am being put off by this slow down in processing. I have only got to December in the first season and am already a little bored of the speed.

The rest is great and I really want to continue but i think that as the seasons wear on, it will get slower amd slower.

Any ideas on how to speed this up?

Change the detail level to 'none', or the lowest possible setting for each competition. This will make a difference, but the cup rounds will always take a while in the early stages because there are a couple hundred fixtures to process. Once you are past round 3 things go much quicker.

Personally I use the time processing the cup rounds to make a cup of coffee or come and browse the forums!

I can't really remember what this DDT thing was for!

But I'm relatively happy with the DB so far and don't think I'll be doing any more for the forseeable future, just going to enjoy playing a game rather than tearing my hair out in the editor.

Could be something for my FM11 version.

The DDT file is a way of loading all players in the database from specific clubs. Therefore, if someone created a DDT file with every club in this database listed, then every team in your league structure would have their full, real life squads, without loading players from other obscure teams not in the database which slow the game down too much to be playable.

That is as far as I got a while back before boring myself to death. I went down to tier 7/8 I think. However, any teams with accents in their names don't work as I thought I could get away without them. I was wrong. So you would need to finish it off and correct those (mainly S.American) teams. Do thish in notepad and save it as 'whatever you like.ddt' without the quotation marks. Put that file in your Football Manager 2010\data\db\1000\edt folder for the original database or Football Manager 2010\data\updates\update-1030\db\1030\edt for the 10.3 database. Then tick it in Preferences/Extra Files from the main menu before starting a new game, and that's it!

EDIT: Word informs me that is 432 lines, so about half the teams in the database done.

All clubs will get whatever regens they would normally get in an un-edited database, so Manchester United's regens will be mostly English.

I have amended the league slightly for my own preferences. But, unfortunately Genie Scout no longer works. WHen I try to load the saved game Genie Scout says Unknown Database Version 1404.

Genie can only be hard-coded to work with a specific database, that's why whenever SI release a patch there's a delay before they get Genie working with it.

You will never be able to use Genie with any custom database.

I can only get as far as seeing all the league changes within the editor. I can save it but I'm fairly sure I'm saving it in the wrong place because everytime I launch FM I am not given the option with the ticky box nor is the Fifa nation loadable. Any suggestions?

I made several edit changes to your project, then when I start the game almost all of the coaching staff and scouts were gone. All I have left were generated coaches and no scouts. What's going on.

EDIT: Only the Spanish teams have the coaches, physio and scouts intact while all the others are gone.

Edit: Launched a new game using the unedited Kenco Database. One again most of the coaches are gone except for the Spanish Teams. One difference is for my Man U squad only Meulensteen was retained, but he's my assistant coach which is incorrect.

I think it's because coaches and other staff are linked to which nations are loaded, and since only 'FIFA' is loaded then it can leave out these staff. Loading additional players from certain countries/continents seems to also load staff, and hopefully this DDT file thing should work. Will test this out soon and report back.

I have got Genie Scout working with Kencos database. I didnt realise that you also had to install the new version of Genie Scout to coincide with Football Manager updates. Works a treat.
