OK, an update should be coming this afternoon sometime :) However, i still have to do more HW and due to exams, it could be anywhere between this afternoon and Thurday evening :(

I have holidayed to the end of the season with some interesting results. Some people have scored loads, yet have been relegated, whilst others have not played a single game still  Screenshots of league tables and player profiles will be provided :)

Update 3 – June 2009

Well, the first season has ended and what a dramatic season it has been. With some genuine goalscorers and genuine benchwarmers emerging, let’s take a look back at the first year in the striker’s footballing careers.

We start at the bottom again, with the strikers that have failed to make an impact this season. 8 players have yet to get off of the mark so far after a year in football. Some have appeared once, but most have stayed in the Under 18 or Reserve Sides. Tups Hilp, Rodney Atkinson, Joe Tompkins, Jack Browne, James Almond, Az Toscani, Magnus Vestergaard and Wobill Luman are the unlucky players yet to score any points. They shall all be hoping for much greater things again next season, or possibly a transfer away from their current clubs.

In 6th place after the 1st season is Alex Barkley has 2 points. It doesn’t sound much, and indeed it isn’t. However, he can take confidence in himself as he has at least got off of the mark for his career. However, like the others, he shall be hoping for an improved season next time around.

Tom Hamilton has slipped down the leaderboard in recent months into 5th. This is due to an unfortunate injury that put him out for 2 months and allowed his rivals to surge ahead and beat him this season. Still, he will be as determined as ever to climb back up the leaderboard and regain 4th place that he lost.

Leapfrogging Hamilton into 4th spot is Ryan Bergman. The American striker has scored 4 goals, but more importantly has 2 MOM awards that have enabled him to jump right up the leaderboard.

In 3rd place, very happy with his seasons work, is Tomas Berdych. He scored 16 goals last term, helping Farsley to 14th place in the Blue Square North. He will be disappointed that he couldn’t get into the top 2 as his poor discipline has let him down again.

Just missing out on top spot is Damian Waymouth. The Irishman has had a decent season, but has been in the top 2 constantly due to his 3 MOM awards which have won him 30 points alone. He will be looking to go one better next season.

Top of the pile however, is the dominant Carl Berg. He netted 23 times last term, along with 2 assists and 4 MOM awards, which helped him romp home with the title.

Or they would have done had his discipline let him down, along with his team. Barrow gained just 45 points all season and were relegated from the Blue Square Premier. This means that he was docked 35 points, but it could have been much worse. Had his team not gained 3 points on the last day of the season, they would have been relegated in bottom spot, which would have resulted in a 60 point deduction and the loss of his title. Carl, count yourself very lucky indeed

:D

Well that’s it for this season folks, join us again in October for more news. Until then, it’s goodbye from me

:)

The Table and screenshots will be up shortly. I shall run through the rules of changing attributes by randomisation again. After that, you will have 4 days to pick attributes to be increased or lowered.

Reminder – How to change attributes by Randomisation

Ok, here is a reminder of how attributes can be changed at the end of each season.

1) Pick 3 attributes. You can only pick 1 attribute from each section. i.e. You can pick Jumping, Technique and Composure, but not finishing, heading and composure. HIDDEN ATTRIBUTES CANNOT BE CHOSEN!!!!

2) Step 2 is to pick a number, either 1 or 2. These represent a + and a -. These numbers will be assigned to either the + or – sign, which will increase or lower your chosen attributes respectively.

3) The final step is to chose 3 numbers, each between 1 and 5, which will also be randomised and shall determine by what amount that your chosen attributes are changed by. YOU MUST PICK 1 NUMBER EACH FOR ALL 3 OF YOUR CHOSEN ATTRIBUTES!!!!

Here are the player and Division screenshots to help you decide which attributes to try and increase or lower

:) Please use the form below to submit changes that you would like to make :)

Attributes will be lowered/upped by between 1 and 5 points, depending on what the random number generator throws out for each number :) So if you have a stat of 1, choose to try and up it and you pick the - sign, it will stay as low as possible. i.e. at 1 :)
