However, in 09 this seems to have changed and you can get a ton of great players on loan. I know there's already a loan thread, but I wanted to make one that's separated into leagues/teams/etc with prices and everything. Not sure if you'll be able to get him right at the beginning of the game, but give it a couple of months and he'll be sitting in the reserves, transfer listed, and Hearts are happy to let him out on loan for free and no wage contribution.
