ScottyB14
dont know if this has been done before but i wanted to try and win the premiership with liverpool using a squad of players just from liverpool..was wondering if there would be enough quality players to do it and any suggestions? DiscoStu94
Rooney is from Liverpool IIRC. IMO, at the start of the game there isn't, but you could try and see what happens.
Braenn
Why not play as Everton, the older Merseyside team?
Terras-FM
Scousers they just make me sick lol
Braenn
Anyway... Players I can think of... Baines, Carragher, Hibbert, Osman, Gerrard, Baxter, Kissock, Anichebe (Raised Liverpool from 1), Rodwell. Maybe a challenge for FM09 seeing as Baxter, Kissock and Rodwell will be rated higher? jams1234
As said, Rooney's definitely from there. So are Braenn's listed ones, and Dave Nugent(I think). It'll be hard at the start of the game, but when the regens start coming through it'll be easier.

AcidBurn
No need to say sorry Chester is a City close to Liverpool. Alot of Liverpool players live around Chester as the houses and such are in really nice areas.
Red_Arrow
Using the 'Place of Birth' filter in Player Search, this is the best team I you could put together in Feb 2009: GK: Tony Warner DR: Tony Hibbert DL: Leighton Baines DC: Jamie Carragher DC: James McEveley MR: Ryan Taylor ML: Adam Hammill MC: Kevin Nolan MC: Steven Gerrard FC: Dave Nugent FC: Wayne Rooney S1: Bradley Orr (DR, MC) S2: Michael Ball (D/WBL) S3: Stephen Clemence (MC) S4: Gary Roberts (AML/R) S5: Jose Baxter (AM/FC) I can't see that team winning the Premiership though. The starting 11 is top 6 material but the bench is Championship leave apart from Jose Baxter who turns into a quality goalscorer.

jams1234
TBF if there was a better keeper and better strength in depth that side would certainly challenge for the title.
Harryseaess
Why would you want to make a fully Scouse Team? So you can shoot them all in one go instead of going around the their respective clubs shooting them one by one (apart from Rooney ofcourse ). Anway, on-topic now, like has already been stated there are a few good players from Liverpool and if you put them in a team they would proberly achieve a Uefa Cup Spot but I think that is the best you can hope for (until some regens come along ofcourse). tomtuck01
Sorry kopsy101, but seen as you're a Liverpool fan, I had to laugh at you for not knowing that Michael Owen isn't a scouser.
kopsy101
yeah i know. i have read his autobiography as well 3 times. i know he lived in wales but was born just inside england because the nearest hospital was in england yet i wasn't sure where about liverpool was in relation to wales. I feel uneducated (dont anyone dare say "like a scouser":D)
Wen1234
Don't think Rooney will ever join Liverpool on FM08 though. At least, he absolutely refuses to in my save under any circumstances. Think Baxter is probably similar, the Everton players seem to have been coded with "Disliked Club: Liverpool (100)".
george94
Kirkland(?) Kirklands from Leicester.
