[FMT16] Juan Contract does Plenty - A European Journeyman

Makoto Nakamura

Recommended Posts

Yes...it's another thread but I really don't feel like going back 14 months in Samoa so here I am...again *cough* No edits and I'm not even on full-fat FM, although with the leagues I have loaded it might as well be!

What does the title mean?

[video=youtube_share;ZYXAhIQUKXI]

Remember this from a few years ago? Well that's where the title predominantly comes from and from me trying to make a pun which may or may not have worked....I'll leave that for you to decide. The basic premise behind this save this that I start unemployed with the lowest reputation and work my way up to the top but when I take over at a club I am only allowed to stay at that club for as long as my contract keeps me there meaning I'm not allowed to sign any contract extensions although I can leave my clubs earlier if I get a job offer in from another club. I tried a save like this but based only in the UK & Ireland back in November and it was fun as I worked my way up from Rhyl to Liverpool in 15 or so seasons.

Leagues Loaded:

A small database with every league available to me in Europe loaded. Oh...and one last thing?

I should be safe.

Getting more hyped in Romania, but just to slipped in to Sweden to get your survival back in business. How's Soimii Pancota do in the end without you?

They got relegated to the Romanian Third League Group 5 and since that league isn't playable they've only played in the Romanian Cup, where they fell in their first match 2-1 at home to a club called Sebis.

We survived! It was tough as we utterly demolished teams in some games and then got absolutely demolished in others, I got some loanees in from our parent club Västerås SK in the division above to help squad depth and hopefully it's something I can build on next season.

I honestly don't know, we have a few games where we look so good and then the majority of games....we're bad, we're still in a better position than we were this time last year and when the transfer window opens in a couple of weeks I'll be bringing in a new first team 'keeper, I just hope his eccentricity doesn't get the better of him...

Ballymena_United.png

Ballymena United is a semi-professional football club from Northern Ireland. Based in Ballymena, County Antrim, the team competes in the NIFL Premiership and plays home matches at the Ballymena Showgrounds. The club is managed by Linfield legend David Jeffrey.

Ballymena United was formed in 1934 as a replacement for the earlier Ballymena F.C. that had folded following a dispute regarding the illegal payment of amateur players.

Nicknamed the 'Braidmen' or 'Sky Blues', latterly because of the colour of the home shirts, Ballymena have a rich history in Irish Cup, having won the competition six times – the most for a provincial club outside of Belfast. The club has never won the league title in its history, but has finished runners-up on two occasions. The club has also won the County Antrim Shield on 5 occasions.

. The main club rivals of Ballymena United would be local club Coleraine. The traditional Boxing Day fixture between the two teams attracts large crowds and is one of the most high profile fixtures in the Northern Irish football calendar.

Derry_City_FC_logo.png

Derry City Football Club (Irish: Cumann Peile Chathair Dhoire) is a professional football club based in Derry, Northern Ireland. It plays in the League of Ireland Premier Division. It had spent the majority of its time in the League of Ireland in the Premier Division, the top tier of league football in the Republic of Ireland, but was expelled in November 2009 when it was discovered there were secondary, unofficial contracts with players. It was reinstated a few weeks later but demoted to the First Division, the second tier. The club are the League of Ireland's only participant from Northern Ireland. The club's home ground is the Brandywell Stadium and the players wear red and white striped shirts from which its nickname, the Candystripes, derives.[3] Others refer to the club as the Red and White Army or abbreviate the name to Derry or City.

The club, founded in 1928, initially played in the Irish League, the domestic league in Northern Ireland, and won a title in 1964–65. In 1971, security concerns related to the Troubles meant matches could not be played at the Brandywell. The team played home fixtures 30 miles (48 km) away in Coleraine. The security forces withdrew their objections to the use of the Brandywell the following year, but in the face of insistence from the Irish League that the unsustainable arrangement continue, the club withdrew from the league. After 13 years in junior football, it joined the League of Ireland's new First Division for 1985–86. Derry won the First Division title and achieved promotion to the Premier Division in 1987, and remained there until the 2009 relegation. The club won a domestic treble in 1988–89, the only League of Ireland club so far to do so.

Logo_yenisey.jpg

FK Yenisey Krasnoyarsk (ФК Енисей Красноярск) is a Russian football club based in Krasnoyarsk. The club plays in the Russian National Football League.

The club was founded in 1937 as Lokomotiv Krasnoyarsk and spent one season in Class D of the Soviet league. In 1957 the club was re-formed and entered the Far East zone of Class B. In 1968 Lokomotiv was renamed Rassvet and, in 1970, Avtomobilist. In 1991 it became Metallurg, a title it held until February 2010 when it was renamed Metallurg-Yenisey (formally, Metallurg was excluded from the league and a new independent club Metallurg-Yenisey was admitted into the league). In 2011, the club was renamed to Yenisey.

Yenisey (or their predecessors) never played in the Soviet Top League or Russian Premier League. Their best result in Soviet League was a 2nd position in Group 7 of Class B in 1959, while their best result in Russian history was the 9th position in Russian First Division in 2001. Since the end of the Soviet Union the club has suffered relegation to the Second Division on four occasions, most recently in 2006.

One question, you're only staying for the first contract you sign, but are you willing to negotiate longer years than the clubs initial offer if it's a club you fancy a few years with?

It's not something that I'd thought of but I'm going to say that yes I can negotiate for a longer contract.

This is a new record for me, relegated with a positive goal difference AND finishing as joint top scorers in the division! The players blamed the underachievement of the club down to my management (even though they were in 17th with 26 points from 24 games when I took over) I brought in just one player during the winter break and he turned out to be the only player worth screenshotting at the end of the season.

145px-Bristol_Rovers_F.C._logo.svg.png

Bristol Rovers Football Club is an English professional association football club, based in Bristol, that competes in League Two, the fourth tier of English football. The team plays its home matches at Memorial Stadium, in Horfield, a suburb of Bristol, and is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.

The club was founded in 1883 as Black Arabs F.C., and were also known as Eastville Rovers and Bristol Eastville Rovers before finally changing its name to Bristol Rovers in 1899. The club's official nickname is The Pirates, reflecting the maritime history of Bristol. The local nickname of the club is The Gas, from the gasworks next to their former home Eastville Stadium, which started as a derogatory term used by fans of their main rival Bristol City but was affectionately adopted by the team. According to a survey conducted in December 2003, Cardiff City and Swindon Town are considered their second and third biggest rivals.

Rovers were admitted to the Football League in 1920 and have played there ever since, apart from spending the 2014–15 season in the Conference Premier. They previously came close to losing their league status in 1939, when they were re-elected after finishing bottom of Division Three (South), and in 2002 when the team finished one league position away from relegation to the Football Conference. Their highest finishing positions were in 1956 and 1959, on both occasions ending the season in 6th place in Division Two, then the second tier of English football. Rovers were Football League Trophy finalists in 1990 and 2007.

Another year another club, no option for added years so the aim will be a top 5 finish.

4 points clear and that's mainly from the goals of 16 year old Manou Lignogno who's on loan from Real Madrid scoring 18 goals in 25 appearances! The league is still very close though so hopefully we don't let our guards down on the run-in for the title.

As usual I highly enjoy following your career. This time the general idea promises a variety of teams and leagues. You strip yourself of the chance to really build a team over the years with all your RL experience. That makes it all the more fascinating. It turns out you are enforced to check what can be achieved with loanees... KUT-always-GW!

Thanks Voss! :D It means a lot buddy thanks for following :) What's also good with this career is that I have all of Europe loaded so hopefully, further down the line it could make for some odd European ties!

A great season has lead to the financially struggling Tudelano promoted to Liga Adelante, do I think they'll survive? Probably not. But I hope they give it a real good go!
