[FM2016] USA 5 Tier League (All NFL-NBA-MLB-NHL-Teams) & CANADA 3 Tier League

All NHL / NBA / NFL / MLB Franchises added to the US.



Credit for the NFL/MLB teams goes to dim13 on the SI website.

ok, here we go, lets see if i miss anything (first ever db).

Setting up a GAME

1) Make sure you tick - 'add players to playable teams'

2) Make sure you un-tick - 'Do not add Key Staff'

3) Using the advanced rules to add all Canadian and US players is advised

Nation Info

Season dates - Are inline with the English League. (10th Aug - 15th May)

Season End Date - 1st June

Youth Intake is usually just after.

Season rules - as per England - No draft, No Designated player etc.

Canadian Players are no longer classed as Foreign.

USA has been slightly boosted in youth rating/nation terms to match England.

All Main created teams should have the correct -

Name

City

Stadium

Nickname

Rivals

All reps for created teams were improvised for the most part but dynasty franchises, Celtics, Patriots, Yankees, Oilers etc tend to be at the higher end of the scale (I have little knowledge of these sports so used various site Power Rankings for the most part).

All PDL teams have the same rep / cash starting point.

Division Layout - Main Leagues - 5 Levels

Premier - 20 teams - 4 relegated

Major League - 44 teams - 2 Groups of 22 - 2 promoted / 4 relegated (per group)

US Football League - 80 teams - 4 sub divisions of 20 - 2 promoted / 4 relegated (per group)

Minor League - 48 teams - 2 sub divisions of 24 - 2 promoted / 4 relegated (per group)

AAA League - 64 teams - 4 sub divisions of 16 - 1 promoted (per group)

Each team has a Main Squad / Reserves & U21 Squad.

Each team has a feeder team in the PDL League

Premier Development Leagues - Feeder Teams - 5 Tiers

League restrictions on over 24s, and squad size etc. This is a shadow to the main leagues for player growth/loans etc

Premier - 20 teams - 4 relegated

Championship - 2 Divisions - 2 promoted / 4 relegated (per group)

Tier 1 - 64 teams - 4 Groups of 16 - 2 promoted / 2 relegated (per group)

Tier 2 - 64 teams - 4 Groups of 16 - 2 promoted / 2 relegated (per group)

Tier 3 - 64 teams - 4 Groups of 16 - 2 promoted (per group)

Cups

Super Bowl - NFL Teams only - Groups into Knockout style cup

Stanley Cup - NHL Teams only - Groups into Knockout style cup

World Series - MLB Teams only - Groups into Knockout style cup

Nike Air Cup - MLB Teams only - Groups into Knockout style cup

Casadia Cup - All 256 Main division teams in a League Cup.

Atlantic Cup - All 512 Main Divisions and PDL teams in an FA Cup. Main teams are fed into the draw at later stages.

American Liberty Cup - All 256 PDL teams in League Cup

Ah you beat me to it. :)

Mine is bit different in terms of pyramid structure, I kind debating rather go for a more english style pyramid system or more regional one.

The regional one I'm struggling for the game to keep up with the regional boundaries, but I might as well accept no matter how much I try I will never be able to keep teams in same regional divisions they are suppose to. But is bit difficult for florida team to play matches on the western division or the pacific division.

Regardless, i will take a look on this, sounds promising.

I'm gonna put together a Canada file to compliment this, for extra players/feeder teams/affiliations staff/raised reps and cash etc. Slightly less than the US, Scotland to England sort of level.

3 leagues - 20 / 22 / 22. English Style, winter season inline with mine above.

Work to be Done

1. Add Managers in for the missing teams (accurate where i can or using ex club players that are out of contract or not in the database) - In progress

2. Complete 3 tier Canada File to compliment - rep/money etc upgraded. (A Scotland to England Level so to speak)

3. Add Canada/USA League Winners - Super Cup.

4. Add American Charity Shield Match - DONE

The file is very playable as is but i'll complete the above anyway...

Team List for those looking

I don't know if you changed it in your latest updated, but the NFL St Louis Rams are now the LA Rams.

ETA: Their temporary home stadium will be the Colosseum in Los Angeles until a new stadium is built in 2017 or so.

wkdsoul.. Was just wondering when this database is launched i know u made Canada database as a bit of a side thing type thing but was just wondering possible to use Canada teams in this database without using the NHL,NBA etc part of the database but keepign the normal USA leagues that are in fm17 right now?

I'm gonna revamp this to 5 tiers, 128 teams, no PDL B teams angle.  

  1. Premier League - 20 teams
  2. Championship - 20
  3. Div 1 - 22
  4. Div 2 - 22
  5. Conference 2 x 22 teams.

Main Cup (FA Cup Style) - all teams

  1. CUP - MLS
  2. SUPERBOWL - NFL TEAMS
  3. STANLEY CUP - NHL TEAMS
  4. WORLD SERIES - MLB TEAMS
  5. NBA CUP - NBA TEAMS

END OF SEASON CUP - THE CUP WINNERS OF THE ITALICIZED ABOVE IN A 2/3 GAME PLAYOFF FOR THE ALL AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL.

No wrorries, i think most those are custom when i was learning photoshop, i want to mix  it up a bit alot of the the us ones seems to be disc one like that and i tried to keep it so it didnt look like another sports logo, (if i remember right) this with a stick/puck ruled it out as a possible soccer badge.

i can make it seperate for you later on.

Quick show of the bext 11 for Dallas Cowboys 4 years into the game... They are one of the Sugar daddy teams though.. but you can get a decent squad together, the current lineup has Berahino in it.

Just having some issues with the CONCACAF Cup and the new canadian teams, but leagues and teams are all built just the cups once i have this niggle sorted.

Yeah these shots are all from the FM17 version of this, i've jsut finished building all the clubs and leagues again, just the cups and awards to go..

Great mate i will wait then and start when its ready with Islanders. The Dallas Cowboys thing are New England and Washington Sugar Daddy clubs also as they are the top 3 in NFL for worth ??

1) Sugar daddy clubs were worked out using the Forbes list for franchise values,  Top 5 are daddy foreground, 5-10 daddy background & 10-15 daddy underwriter.  Same as cash, i used the Forbes estiamte of operating income to guess a decent start.  

2) All teams are in the same leagues only the cups are kept NHL (Stanley), NFL (Superbowl).  etc   The only seconday division are the academy team. (unless you mean division 2?)

3) Awards are per competition for the month, then as a whole for season end.   As well as the Beckham award for best foreign player in the MLS, and the landon donovan award for best overseas US player etc. 

 

The league are divided like this at the min..
