  1. XaW - Marine FC - Season 2033/34 (Season 10) - Premier League Squad | Transfers | Finances Just all over an excellent season for us. Solid mid-table and not close to a relegation battle. I couldn't ask for more at this stage. The Premier League money makes us financially very happy, and overall everything is going swell. We even finished as the best team from Merseyside after Liverpool had a stinker and we also finished just ahead of Everton! As I posted earlier, we also have our first ever wonderkid, and in the NXGN we had 3 players represented. James Nash 31a won it and it's easy to see why. He is a physical monster, has amazing mentals for a 19 year old, and even good technical attributes to round out an amazing player. Ceiran Mannion 32a is a bit younger, but still a massive talent that's currently a rotation player for us. The final one is Friday Shehu 31d, a player I'd like to play more, but both wide spots are occupied by two of our best players. Still, he fits in on both wings, and plays quite a lot. So it grows well at the club, and now we just have to become used to this level, and also let the reputation of the club catch up. FA Cup: We beat Norwich and Ipswich before we lost to Manchester United in the 5th round. Carabao Cup: We beat Oldham and Luton before we lost to Liverpool in the 4th round. Best players from the academy: James Nash 31a - Now a wonderkid and probably the best player at the club. Kevin Elliott 27f - Excellent season in the heart of our defensive line. Also uses his size to score a few goals too. Rhain Macready 30a - Is slowly becoming an important cog in the tactical machine. New club records: Most league apps - Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - 302 apps Most league goals - Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - 158 goals Got a few more improvements accepted this season. Also, we are expanding the stadium and will be playing at Anfield next season. U21s They finished 7th in the English U21 Division 3 this season. EFL Trophy: The faced Tranmere, Salford, and Fleetwood in the group stage. They finished 4th and got knocked out. U18s They finished 1st in the U18 Professional Development League North this season and then beat Ipswich in the semi final before they lost on pens to Nottingham Forest in the final. FA Youth Cup: They beat Crystal Palace before they lost to Liverpool in the 4th round. 2. After almost 10 seasons in my current save here is my stats. 2024/25 Lost to Accrington in the FA Trophy 3rd round - 0/1 2025/26 Won over Weston-Super-Mare in the FA Trophy 4th round - 1/2 Won over Wealdstone in the FA Trophy 5th round - 2/3 2028/29 Won over Wolves u21 in the EFL Trophy group stage - 3/4 Lost to Doncaster in the EFL Trophy 2nd round - 3/5 2029/30 Won over Fleetwood in the EFL Trophy group stage - 4/6 Won over Port Vale in the EFL Trophy group stage - 5/7 2031/32 Won over Sunderland in the Carabao Cup 1st round - 6/8 And those are all the penalty shootouts I've played in so far in this save. I've won 6 out of 8, so 75% win rate. Perhaps, and this is key, your penalty takes have low pressure attributes, or low big match attributes. I'm suggesting this, since you specifically talk about finals and other big matches. These attributes, as well as consistency is very important if you want players to show up in the big matches. If you have spineless weaklings who crumble under pressure then I can't say I'm surprised. Also, we human are extremely poor at understanding probability and the gamblers fallacy comes into play. If you've flipped a coin 10 times and it's been heads every time, what is the probability of it being heads the next time you flip? The probability of getting heads on any single coin flip is always ~50%. Each flip of a fair coin is independent of the previous flips, so the fact that you've gotten heads 10 times in a row doesn't change the probability of getting heads on the next flip. It's still ~50%, regardless of the past outcomes.
  3. Glad the game cheats in my favour then! If you see yourself being outscored against worse teams regularly, you need to change what you are doing, not blame the game for your own shortcomings as a manager. It's more than possible to avoid it happening often. Once in a blue moon, anything can happen, but if it's a trend, you can change it, but you can only change it if you acknowledge it an not just try to shift the blame.
  4. Thanks mate. Yeah, getting married in June!
  5. Yeah, that looks fine then! That's the place I usually check to make sure the team I want can be used!
  6. What do you see if you go into the season summary for Finland and see who is promoted from "lower divisions" or what it's called? That should make it clear, hopefully.
  7. Without knowing the details, I'd wager this is the opinion of two different staff members who just disagree. If you think it's a bug, then please post it in the bug tracker. Personally, I like that staff have different opinions as it makes is less clear and thus more realistic. Saying that, I think the game should be better at explaining the that staff are not right or wrong, they are just offering their opinion.
  9. Here are a few "smaller" ones who were created at clubs there: And these are just a few I found looking for a few minutes. They are not all world beaters, but playing at the top league after being generated at clubs in their home country. And I've also stayed away from countries like Iran, Qatar, etc as they have bigger clubs...
  10. How small are you talking about? I've seen players in rather small countries, but rarely from the extremely small ones which are realistic really.
  11. I didn't know this happened in the game, but as such, I'd think the latter choice would be the right one, holidaying an extra season. My suggestion though, and I'll concede if @darren1983 says otherwise.
  12. It looks like you started with a National C lisense... You need to start without one, sorry.
  13. Delete (or move if you want to keep the files) from the /Football Manager 2024/graphics folder
  14. James Nash 31a is now considered a wonderkid! And considering he is already a "decent PL player" and my staff think he can improve a lot makes me hope he is a world beater, and I just tied him down to a 3+3 year deal!
