Football Manager 2024 Official Feedback Thread
XaW replied to Kyle Brown's topic in Football Manager General Discussion
Glad the game cheats in my favour then! If you see yourself being outscored against worse teams regularly, you need to change what you are doing, not blame the game for your own shortcomings as a manager. It's more than possible to avoid it happening often. Once in a blue moon, anything can happen, but if it's a trend, you can change it, but you can only change it if you acknowledge it an not just try to shift the blame. -

Yeah, that looks fine then! That's the place I usually check to make sure the team I want can be used! -

What do you see if you go into the season summary for Finland and see who is promoted from "lower divisions" or what it's called? That should make it clear, hopefully. -
Without knowing the details, I'd wager this is the opinion of two different staff members who just disagree. If you think it's a bug, then please post it in the bug tracker. Personally, I like that staff have different opinions as it makes is less clear and thus more realistic. Saying that, I think the game should be better at explaining the that staff are not right or wrong, they are just offering their opinion.

Here are a few "smaller" ones who were created at clubs there: And these are just a few I found looking for a few minutes. They are not all world beaters, but playing at the top league after being generated at clubs in their home country. And I've also stayed away from countries like Iran, Qatar, etc as they have bigger clubs...

I didn't know this happened in the game, but as such, I'd think the latter choice would be the right one, holidaying an extra season. My suggestion though, and I'll concede if @darren1983 says otherwise. -

It looks like you started with a National C lisense... You need to start without one, sorry. -

James Nash 31a is now considered a wonderkid! And considering he is already a "decent PL player" and my staff think he can improve a lot makes me hope he is a world beater, and I just tied him down to a 3+3 year deal! -

My first match in the Premier League was a good result too! But I think we will struggle this season... the Premier League is really hard! -

Loved that player update @skills, so you inspired me to do the same for my best players! He is our first choice goalkeeper and has been really good for us. His issue has been his handling, which I've worked on for years and it has slowly improved, but other than that, I can't complain much. His understudy is Peter Bedia 31c who looks very promising. No surprise who our right back is. He is just becoming a beast, even if his speed is lower than I would ideally want. Left back is probably the weakest position for us, but his high mentals means he can usually do well enough. Our best defender, and have you ever seen a more stereotypical lower Premier League defender? Just the type we need in order to battle for survival. The other central defender and they've ben a great duo for a few years now. We also have Jackson Caldwell 30b being an option for both the right back and central defender. The DM in my 4-3-3 DM Wide, and the link between defenders and midfielders. He is a work horse and does his job well. I'd like him to be a better passer, but it is what it is. The other work horse, ball winning midfielder, in my tactic he is one of those who just do a job and let the others be flashy. The more attacking alibi of the midfielders. I'd like him to be better going forward, but as a two-way player he does well. Probably our best player. A physical monster out on the wing who bullies full backs both on ground and in the air. The wide player on the left who are really good, but haven't really done as well as I would like to see. I have John Hurst 33a and Friday Shehu 31d waiting in the wings ready to replace him if he doesn't deliver. Up top we have our main striker for many years. His only drawback is that he is not a natural finisher, so working on first time shots can possible help that... He is an excellent player, and the other options for a striker is a bit lacking, so I can see him being the main scorer for many years still. I think those are the main 11 and some subs, so sorry for stealing your shine @SkiIIs, but remember imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!
