Major Problem/possible bug

in 2015/2016 season with QPR & in the Uefa cup. I'm in January & need to register any additional players for the competition. It says you need 4 players trained by QPR & 8 players trained by a team for more than 3 seasons. No matter who I select (including youth or reserve players) I can only ever get 3 trained by QPR & 7 players trained by a team for more thean 3 seasons.

It won't let you submit that squad until you have met the required & the game won't let you carry on until you have submitted. It will only let you make 3 replacements for players you already have in the squad from the first registration.

Is this a bug or is there a way around it?

It's not a bug, it's an actual rule, but there is a work round. Leave some blank spaces, and then it will be accepted. In your case you need to leave two blank spaces i.e. only select 23 players.

Either what was said above or let the game auto select for you.

auto select it, then change the odd player in/out if you want them in the squad!

If you select players that are homegrown and the game doesn't change the number, then you should report this in the bugs forum.

Autoselect mate

tried the auto select & it still doesn't pick enough to meet the criteria.

i had this a couple of days ago, can you not confirm the selection anyway because thats what I did even though my quota was too low and the game just continued. have any of the players that you had in the squad gone out on loan now?

Then leave the blank spaces and buy a player trained, and one you've homegrown and then sold.

I just autoselect, then change the odd player.

The only difference from the squad i had for the 1st round & group stage is I have sold one player. I now have 22/25. Will give this a try anyway & see what happens

Have you released all your youngsters?

a printscreen of what auto-selection looks like would help some.

If you can't get it to work, holiday for a day.
