ridley99
Saha terrible for United but decent for Fulham
O\'Hara_fan
Ramon Vega, Ramon Vega, Ramon Vega, Ramon Vega. Sorry, he is the single worst player to have worn a Tottenham shirt. Wouldn't say Rebrov was bad, just bad for £11 million.
LSD
I think Ramon Vega was terrible... It just came to me then!
ridley99
Christopher Weah - Arsenal Remi Garde - Arsenal Francis Jeffers - Everton/Arsenal/Charlton

ridley99
nope! thats Ali Daei
keese
Ali DIa was the guy that Souness signed for southampton after someone phoned him pretending to be George Weah and recommended Dia as his nephew. Curiously Arsene Wenger did something similar with Cristopher Wreh, but with the added twist that he actually WAS related to George Weah.
ridley99
impressive! now where did you get that from newbie?
O\'Hara_fan
i think i remember him, not really, but apparantly the Leeds fans should remember him.
LloydP
That ali dae guy isn't he the one who signed for southampton in like 96 97 dunno when and played about 10 minutes as a sub got subbed off n then did nothing again Got a trail because he said he was George Weah's Uncle or cousin or something along them lines
PJ Bluenose 4 Ever
Luciano Figueroa - Birmingham - He was apparently amazing for Rosario Central turns out to be dire. Diego Forlan- Man Utd - Scored 10 goals in 63 games, but now class for Villarreal Walter Pandiani - Birmingham - Only looked good on his debut We should all vote for the worst Premiership player of all time
LSD
We must of had the same thought at the same time. Well... I'll let you into a little secret... It came to me after I seen your post
LloydP
Jean alain boumsong Liverpool wouldnt take him on a free but newcastle would take him for 8 million after 6 months in scotland was realy poor
O\'Hara_fan
Young Pyo Lee - How he managed to get the amount of games he did ceases to amaze me, diabolical non-premiership standard player.
Jarrow Roofing
John dahl tommasson, rubish for Newcastle but aparently good since... Laurent Robert - Brilliant when he wanted to be but as he spat his dummy out far too often we didn't see it too much. Would rather have him still than Barton though
pelicanstuff
Marlet was both shocking and expensive. a true flop. You don't want your new £11m striker to score 6 one season and 4 the next. You could argue the same about Rebrov but I would argue that he isn't an out-and-out striker, something that seemed to escape the Tottenham management at the time. I guess Inter did the same with Bergkamp though.
Lukaboi
I agree Marlet was shocking, maybe worst buy ever behind Shevchenko and a few other flops.
crickie
Moreno Mannini, Salvatore Matrecano and Gianluca Petrachi. David prat played 12m for them and they were useless. We ended up having to release them on free and that got us into major debt. Also dont know if hes already being mentioned but roque junior at leeds. he was shocking
LSD
Amen, crickie! What a terrible player (for Leeds) he was... Nick Barmby (at Leeds) as well as Seth Johnson (also at Leeds)
ComeontheArsenal
Christopher Weah - ArsenalRemi Garde - Arsenal Francis Jeffers - Everton/Arsenal/Charlton You mean Christopher Wreh, and yes, he was terrible, I agree with the others aswell, especially Franny Jeffers, the biggest dissapointment ever, if anyone can put you off buying Englishmen it's him! And yeah Akinbiyi was horrendous! What about Massimo Taibi??? A terrible keeper, Remeber when that le Tissier shot went under him! Bosnich was pretty crap aswell, oh and Djemba-Djemba Does anyone remember Ali Dia? Someone rang Souness pretending to be George Weah and said it was his cousin, he was so bad it was laughable! Another Arsenal one was John Jensen, he couldn't run, couldn't shoot, couldn't tackle and only scored like, one goal, or something. Hmmm, let me think, some more John Fashanu, Vinnie Jones, pretty much all of that Wimbledon team. Frank Sinclair of Leicester City Oh and one for you LSD, Jody Morris, a horrible excuse for a human being. An even worse version of Dennis Wise! Edit: I've read up the page a bit and realised that a couple of these have already been mentioned, oh well
LSD
Jody Morris... What a ... GRRR!

ComeontheArsenal
Pascal Cygan......nah i love that guy lol Definately, can't believe i overlooked him! I remember a certain chant about him, it went something like. "He's bald, he's sh*t, he get's a game when no ones fit, Pasal Cygan, Pascal Cygan"
Bergkamp.10.
haha speaking of chants, did you hear our chanting at the sunderland match? ''Vieira, ohh ah ohh, 'Vieira, ohh ah ohh.....''
ridley99
thats because he supposed to be on his way to Sunderland! this is getting hard, dont want to get too old incase nobody knows who they are! ridley99
you know your stuff, but he did make a competitive start so he can be classed as a premiership player just like good old Ali Dia
Lukaboi
Ali Dia worst player ever, nuff said he probably wasn't even a footballer in the first place, maybe a carpenter or something
Chris Ritchie
Again, this is one for the Football Forum.
Bergkamp.10.
nah Ridley its because they want him but he dosent wanna go to them
O\'Hara_fan
Again, this is one for the Football Forum. Probably is, but is it okay if we have some sort of off-topic thread where everything like this ends up in there and not clutter up the boards, like FMS?
Bergkamp.10.
Again, this is one for the Football Forum. yea this forum has pretty much closed down for FMH08 everybodys just trying to make conversation 'til FMH09
nerner
what about Ali Dia?
ridley99
Again, this is one for the Football Forum. the reason it isnt is because we are a close group and want to keep this between ourselves and share our opinions/thoughts and not have people we dont know inputting into it
O\'Hara_fan
Which is why I am suggesting an offtopic thread, so its easier for us to get it across without it being inevitably closed. To be fair, more or less every other forum has one, so I don't see why it couldn't be implemented here.
ridley99
just backing you up mate explaining the reason to Chris or any mods who may be watching
ComeontheArsenal
Yeah I agree aswell, like Ridley said we're a bit of a clique on here, and like to talk generally, as well as about FMH. It's better without random users appearing.
Jarrow Roofing
I only ever post here, and don't even look at the other boards so I agree that we should have an off topic thread and maybe what I posted the other day would have lasted longer
