lionel messi Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 has anyone managed to get a stadium expansion with nottingham forest? im in my 3rd season in the premier league with them and the board agree that the stadium needs expanding, but the local council have blocked it for the last 2 years i have asked for a expansion. gmcker Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 I always got knocked back - finally got a new stadium after seven seasons of filling it - to be honest after so many seasons waiting I saved just before the announcement, and kept re-saving until I got one. Now I've had to restart my game on another computer, I just used the editor to add some expansion capacity and got 15k new seats after the first season. County Kenny Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 I wonder if there's something written into the code for Forest. My understanding is that the Council are going to gift them a new ground as part of the 'Gateway to the City' project in Clifton, but that's going to take a while. It could be they're pre-scripted to get a new ground after a certain amount of time. There certainly isn't much scope to improve the City Ground as it is, short of concreting over the Trent.
