robertcornell68
Not looking for tips, just opinions. On team instructions you can set a specific target man & play maker as your key men. Do you? Personally, I've changed from "both" to "neither" and I can't see any difference.
edgar555
Both. Seems to work well for me!
danpegg
I have Jan Koller so I have no other option than to play him as a target man!
Dob1
A decent Idea if you have one standout midfield player (Fabregas at Arsenal for example) is to play him as Playmaker AND Target man. With the playmaker role he'll be the main outlet to different players, and as Target man, the other players in the team will be looking to give him the ball whenever possible. Just remember to set Target Man supply "To feet"
jayahr
I use an advanced forward as a target man with run onto ball. Works very well for me. Also a deep-lying playmaker role with support duty.
SCIAG
It depends. Sorry for being awkward. I often do, if I have a suitable player.
AbsoluteGenius
Neither. I have at least six players in my starting 11 who could be classed as playmakers so there's no need to pick just one.
Blue Saint
Playmaker. But the attackers is of no use. Last game my both BC scored since they´re obvioulsy incapable of scoring up there. I foresee a trade or possibly a contract that will not be renewed...
SI_Saga
Neither. I wanted to, but everytime I try using them it seems to be a poor decision. "Target Man" may be a good choice if you're playing a defensive/counter-attacking mentality in a single-FC formation (in theory) but since I mostly play balanced or attacking mentalities, and try to have at least 2 men up front, I find that "Target Man" only limits my team's options. Play Maker... I'll admit I hardly even tried using this, so I have no clue where or how it could be useful. In theory, a player with high Creativity and Decisions could be a Play Maker but the two or three times I've tried it, I saw no difference in the way my team plays. Hence, I sign under the KISS theory...
AbsoluteGenius
I'd use a target man if I played long ball football. I'd use a playmaker if I only had one decent player.

Reganio
At the moment yeah I am using a Target man, usually don't though, playing Shane Long or sometimes Victor Anichebe as Target Man "To Head" the odd time I will use Andy Reid as Playmaker but not too often
craigcwwe
I use both for my teams

crouchaldinho
At the moment I have both in one of my saves, just a playmaker in another, and neither in my third save. So it depends on the players I have.
edgar555
Can I change my vote. Now that I'm on a new save I'm only using a playmaker.
