fatski
Is it just me or are a large quantity of the amazing regens full-backs?! I've got some amazing ones in my team already but keep getting recommended more! Give me an obscene CM anyday!
lancer1
Yes, absolutely. I holidayed 5 seasons into the game and there were numerous fullbacks who were better than the likes of Evra, Maicon, Dani Alves, Cole. On the other hand, I didn't notice many super regen wingers, strikers, or goalkeepers. Lots of fullbacks, and centre backs. And also a decent amount of centre midfielders. likesiamesefish
i have a regen forward who is as good as the very best at the start of the game, since i took over milan he has 94 goals in 90 league games and already bagged two world player of the year awards along with a host of other awards and a golden boot. nev147
In relation to fatski and lancer - do the really good full backs seem to have very good attacking attribures for their position, e.g. dribbling, passing, free kicks, technique, first touch. And as a result have poor defending attributes such as marking and heading or maybe have one of the latter and not both. Cheers.
likesiamesefish
i have a full back with 12 for marking, 11 for heading, and very good attacking attributes as well as very good defensive ones. he's only 23 and i expect him to get better when he is fully first choice. They're good all around, but surprisingly it's actually defensively they're most solid. The 20-24 year olds I saw had marking and tackling of around 17 - 18, and also amazing physical stats, pace, acceleration, etc.

reli515
I've noticed most of the world class newgens (high starting CA/185+ PA) are either FB's or strikers. CM's/CB's are the next most frequent followed by the wingers and GK's who seem to be extremely rare (this is over a number of saves each with at least a few seasons),
torsportsfan
This is because most fullbacks tend to be one-footed. Which overly inflates their attributes(I cant stand this part about the game)
The Gaffovski
This is because most fullbacks tend to be one-footed. Which overly inflates their attributes(I cant stand this part about the game) That's a big part of it. And I will never like that either. But I have also noticed for successive FM versions, that the regens with the highest PA tend to be full-backs. Left full-backs in particular. At least, in my saves. It gives me a headache about whether to keep the 17 year old left-back with 190 PA that has spent a year in my youth team already, or replace him with a 16 year old left-back with 195 PA that appears the following year. I only wish other positions were covered so well.
Oypus
Yes. I'm only two seasons in, and I have found three on my own. Given that I probably missed a few, it's still a big number.
ReeNah
Just retrain to left wing Gaffovski problem solved ^^!! Jokes Jokes! I never found fullbacks the only world class players but my definate best ever regen was a Brazilian left wingback who had near 20 stats for everything and was 17... Wiitastic
I'm findng actually I find far too many Central Midfielders who have super attributes who are aged between 19-24. I am up to December 2020 at the moment
backpackant
I got an 18 year old Brazillian CB for £3.8 million - his buyout clause. His all round stats were almost as good as Chiellini, with only his mental attributes needing a little work. Love these gems tho.
shezza88
My game lacks any decent regen full-backs
