Idea: Give Instructions to a Sub!

Wouldnt it be awesome and more realistic if you could talk to a sub right before he went out? Heres my suggestion....when it asks you to confirm changes to tactics it can ask you if you want to say anything to the player heres some scenarios that this would be useful:

1) You're behind and you're sending the super-sub: "go out and make a difference!"

2) You're way ahead and want to waste time: "enjoy the run-out"

3) Player coming back from injury: "take it easy....just focus on getting match fit again"

4) Young player going out there : "prove a point"

what do you guys think? what are some other scenarios you can come up with?

Yeah AFAIK it is.

I think you can give a sub a team talk on the tactics page, no matter when he goes on.

I believe the options are limited though.

In Matts interview he mentioned this as a new feature to the game. I thought he meant you could give them instructions after half time if you were bringing a player on. He made it sound like it was a new feature when it was already in the game

wow a big idea that was brought up last year this one. Good to see it's made it into the game

I never knew you could do this! Always wanted it since team talks came in, but I know on previous editions of FM you could only do it at half-time. Well done though SI

yeap, discovered this randomly the other day when i noticed the "team talk" tab popping up after I made a sub. Needless to say I was glad they put it in.

Seems like a lot of people aren't seeing this feature. Maybe it would be an idea to ask about the teamtalks int he pop-up message you get when you sub someone.
