JertzeeAFCW
I only noticed the other day that when one player scored in a game all the other players rushed together to congatulate him, but in the same game another player scored and as he ran off to the side to celebrate all the other players trotted off back to the half way line. Is there something written into the game that dictates if a player is not so popular others dont congratulate him? This is still FM2008, but would love to know whether there is such coding or whther it is just random? Maybe the quality of the goal or its importance? Anyone know? snootyjim
I think it's related to the importance of the goal, at least in a way.

Swindon69
According to the text my player slid accross the turf on his knees - on screen he was doing a 'plane as per Jan Aage Fjortoft.
sebzilla
Sometimes the replay cuts out mid-backflip and they line up for the kickoff stuck in the air. Always makes me chuckle. That and the way they sometimes glide for about 30 yards. Celebrations are fun.

The_Kreman
Back to the OP - in my experience, the more important the goal scored, the more players join in the fun.
SI Staff PaulC Posted February 26, 2009 SI Staff Share Posted February 26, 2009 Both importance of the goal and popularity of the player play a part.
pires29
I think the celebrations are class, always have a little laugh looking back at them on the replays. The one that sort of looks like Robbie Keane's celebration is the best one IMO.
