[FM19] Full Australia Promotion-Relegation Pyramid (14 Levels) Released

Recommended Posts

pyramid22f4cd544451b4ab.png

An alternate reality, the year is 2019 and following the decline of Rugby League and Australian Rules Football at grassroots level as well as on the professional stage the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) have adopted a "European" type system which includes:

No salary cap,

A nationwide cup that actually means something (winner qualifies for Asian Champions League)

A fully professional second division,

A semi-professional nationwide third division

and most exciting of all Promotion and Relegation from the top tier of Australia all the way down to the bottom fourteenth tier.

A-League clubs get 5 million AUD at the start of every season while B-League sides get 2.5 million. Money is scaled down to the NPL and SPLs and below that there is no TV Money.

Automatic promotion/relegation between the Hyundai Leagues. Promotion/Relegation Playoff between bottom B-League and winner of NPL. Promotion/Relegation Cup between bottom NPL and the 9 1st placed SPL sides. Underneath this promotion and relegation rules vary depending on what league you are in.

File contains 126 Leagues to play in and 1580 real life Australian clubs to choose from.

A-League has the current 12 real life teams as well as new franchises in Canberra and Tasmania.

B-League has new franchise in Darwin, NZ powerhouse Auckland City, Former A-League side North QLD Fury as well as teams from Cairns, Wollongong, Sutherland, Fremantle, Ipswich, Brisbane, Adelaide, South Melbourne, Dandenong, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast,

NPL has 2 teams from each of the 9 states/federations.

Please note: We haven’t touched the playing squads yet so you must select Add Players to Playable Teams at game start to get a better experience when playing. We will be releasing a 2019 squad update for this database in a month or two which will add roughly 8,000 real life players to the game and other squad corrections.

does the A League include the new western united?

Yes Western United with their current announced squad as well as the new Macarthur FC. Canberra and Tasmania also added in there to make 14 clubs.

That happened when we tried to change the A-League minimum wage rules by creating a new A-League but it is hardcoded. After deleting the 'new' A-League for some odd reason it still remains there in the comp rankings but doesn't effect anything.

Did you up the youth rating of Australia? Just noticed some really good regens coming out of some of the A-League sides after adding players to teams.

Excited to take Thunder to the ACL though.

Yeah it's been increased from 90 to 100 to go along with the narrative that Football is now pretty much the main sport in the country

Yeah it was nothing gamebreaking like some of the crazy db's I've downloaded before.

Really enjoying it but a few notes.

1. No midseason transfer window is a bummer, if you get hit by injuries or poor form it can be hard to recover from.

2. 1 relegation spot for the top two leagues is real rough, maybe like scotland has a playoff relegation even?

3. Some of the values of B-League players are really weird but that may be an ingame engine thing, you can buy a real good team for very little money in that league.

Love the work though, if only it were real.

Great work Man. Quick question, Will you do a roster update prior to the A-league season or just move on to FM2020?

Not sure yet, FM20 is looking more likely though

Hey guys,

I've added a version with the salary cap intact, but will increase each year as in real life but at an increased pace. the B-League will also have a salary cap that is half of the a-league. done enough testing to ensure it works.

Hey Weiry, what settings should be used to set up the league? It won't let me set up any leagues in Australia, just comes up with an error triangle

what database do you have and what other files you're trying to load?

19.1 (it's the only one in the list), and only the .fmf from the first post

I believe this only works with newest database 19.3.

Updated A,B and state leagues with realistic salary caps that will increase every few years to create a realistic expansion.

A,B and state national will have realistic salary rules which will reach their peak from 2025-2029 with the A-league going from 3.2 mil to 8mil, B-league from 1.6 to 4mil etc.

TO DO:

find a way to make teams spend at least a certain amount so that they are utilising the salary cap properly since the editor is bugged this year.

create a more meaningful youth competitions.

Do you think that this salary cap version is better? And if so in which way? Many thanks
