A.I team shape

As i understand it team shape was removed(its not in tactics screen anymore) but the A.I still seems to have it why is this?

It's not the team shape from the previous versions of FM, but team fluidity, which is actually defined by the combination of duties you use in your setup, and is also affected by team mentality. Generally speaking, the more support duties - the more fluid this "shape" will be. And vice versa.

its not removed it is just set up in a different way. while you could just pick it on earlier versions on FM you now have to set up player duties accordingly to achieve a more structured <-> fluid shape. Team Shape will still affect player mentalities, creative freedom and how players will line up on the pitch.

And while im sure someone will join this thread and tell you im wrong you can just go ingame and check the effects by yourself. its not a miracle to find out that team shape hasnt been removed from the game / ME

It is not removed, it is just defined by the tactics you put together. I use a custom skin, so this may not be true on the base skin, I cannot remember. For me the fluidity is on the bottom left corner of the pitch on the tactics screen.

  It may now included in the TI "be more expressive/deciplined", see the official online manual "Creative Freedom is closely tied to your overall Team Fluidity. Be More Expressive increases the overall fluidity score, whilst Be More Disciplined reduces it. " -

To specifically answer @arsenalthebest's question, that appears to be an oversight in the UI and it should instead read "Team Fluidity".
