Hoosier_76
I understand what this TI is supposed to do, but i'm curious as to what, if any, affect it has on individual player mentality. Anyone have any insight?
Egecann
I think they are playing with the ball more around the box and trying to get a set piece obviously. Encourages the physicality maybe?
summatsupeer
My guess is it just means to go down easier and doesn't affect anything easier.
enigmatic
I assume it means they dwell on the ball to encourage the foul and sometimes even hit the ball intentionally against the opponent closing them down for corners, as well as preferring safe passes to chance creation. Can't say I've used it much, although it might combine well with timewasting
Snorks
Without any set-piece specialists in my sqaud, I use it for timewasting - nt sure how big an effect it has though.
kelabb
I find more crosses go off a defender into touch, probably because the ball carrier takes the ball deeper. If you have a good corner taker it can be useful. I play Birmingham City and spend a fair bit of time on set pieces as we aren't the most gifted team technically, so I use it mainly against stronger (most of them!) teams.
