Makoto Nakamura
I'm sorry, I can't do club monogamy, I think that's the right word. In the past I've tried to do 'The Perfectionist Challenge' and this will be like that in the fact that I'm going to go from A-Z but this will be a little bit different. Last time what made me 'anxious' and in the end quit the save was Brazil. Not the country itself but the fact that there were minor cups where only a select amount of teams entered and I had no clue who entered what or when and I went into an 'FM Breakdown' of such and just threw in the towel. This time however is different, this time I will be starting in A but it will be Afghanistan and not Albania and I will end up in Zimbabwe but I would like to win all the leagues and all of the countries equivalents to the FA Cup, or any cup where the vast majority of teams enter just so I can keep track of who enters what. If anyone wants a re-cap on the previous attempts of this then here you go: The Perfectionist - From A to W, 51 Nations and centuries of management The Perfectionist II - From A to Z, 118 nations and millenia of management FM17 has seen a big step forward with the game going from 32-bit to 64-bit, as well as this the previous maximum of 69 editor files loaded is now gone and @claassen has released his in-depth megapack of 105 updates and I've made my barebones add-ons for a lot of the minor nations in the world. Personally, I see FM as a release and a chance for exploration and even though I was enjoying my time with Porthleven I felt sort of trapped in the one country so I still have the save but won't play it unless something major goes wrong with this. I love finding out about clubs and countries few people know about, so this seems like the perfect time to start afresh and see what nations will I be managing in and in what order: (Adding these up is actually 187 countries and I have no idea which country I'm missing, oops!) If I decided to load every league up from every country then I would have 322 leagues loaded from 188 nations but not even my computer could handle something like that, in the past I've loaded 3 countries at a time but this time I'm pushing it up to 5 and here are the first 5: I'll be starting with a large database which is, at the moment 10,020 players and I'll be starting with no badges and no experience. As a side note I also won't be using my usual English nationality, I will still be Makoto Nakamura but instead I am from Tuvalu, this is to see if, as my reputation grows then maybe we can get some Tuvaluan regens. Makoto Nakamura
Simorgh Alborz is a football team in Afghanistan. They play in the Afghan Premier League. It was founded in August 2012 by the creation of the Afghan Premier League and its players have been chosen through a casting-show called Maidon-E-Sabz (Green Field). The team represent the Balkh area which is the North Western region of Afghanistan. However's its support base extends throughout those provinces located in the North of Afghanistan. These provinces are in the shadow of the Alborz mountain range which commences here and stretches westwards all the way to the Caspian Sea. They have claimed both Runners Up positions in the two years of the Afghan Premier League, losing 2–1 to Toofan and 3–1 to Shaheen. The Simorgh is the mythical creature – a large, graceful, winged bird – which is referred to in many famous poems. It is a benevolent, wise and loving creature but is also capable of making great sacrifices. In the Shahnameh, Zal, the son of Saam,, is rescued after being abandoned at the Alborz mountain by the simorgh that lives at the peak of this mountain. The simorgh is also mentioned in many other poetry including Fariddun Attar's ‘Conference of the Birds’, where the hoopoe leads a group of thirty birds in search of the simorgh. The Simorgh Alborz football team represent one of the most ancient and historic part of Afghanistan and hope to bring glory to its representative provinces. They believe the natural resting place for the Roshan APL Cup is in the foot of the Alorz mountains. Key Players: I think I may be relying on Hafizulla Amiri to fire us to the top of the table! Makoto Nakamura
2016/17 Pre-Season Well, that wasn't great, we even lost to our reserves! We raided Toofan's side and it's seen us become favourites for the title. Key Signings:
Makoto Nakamura
August 2016 A great start to the season with a big away win against Shaheen but we completely outplayed Oqaban at home and come away defeated and it sees us 3rd in the table very early on. Makoto Nakamura
September 2016 Another good couple of games and we're joint top We're also joint 4th and also, over 1/4 of the way through the season already!
Makoto Nakamura
October & November 2016 Bloomin eck this is a close league, much like the Premier League *cough* anyone can defeat anyone, one good result and we're top of the table, one bad result and we're down in 5th/6th!
Makoto Nakamura
December 2016 We have 5 games left now and anyone from Toofan to Shaheen could win the title and qualify for next season's AFC Cup Group Stage, we were poor against Shaheen and needed a late goal against Oqaban to keep us in a good position else we would be currently down in 6th. Makoto Nakamura
January 2017 Ooft, we're pushing this to the wire we have a game in hand and are top of the table with 3 games to go, can we hold on?
Makoto Nakamura
February 2017 Well we really went and ballsed that up didn't we? Everyone has one game left to play now, we play Toofan and Oqaban play De Abasin and then 3rd-7th are all just 1 point behind us, I just can't call who's going to win this! Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2016/17 Omar Asefi oh how we love you! We've sealed the league title and now I have a choice to make up, do I leave now and hope a job comes up in Albania, and hope that an Afghan Premier League title is enough of a reputation for me to get a job in Albania or do I stay with Simorgh to become fluent in Pashto and take part in the AFC Cup at the end of next season? Key Players: Everyone played well but nobody really stood out to me. Makoto Nakamura
2017/18 Pre-Season A strong pre-season with wins over 3 non-league clubs. And we're clear favourites this season, no pressure. I couldn't find anyone with an immediate impact so I just signed the Afghanistan U23 team. Makoto Nakamura
August 2017 That's a great start! Both De Maiwand and De Spinghar are bottom and 2nd bottom but it's certainly helped our goal difference early on in the season.

Makoto Nakamura
September 2017 2 Away games and a solid 4 points from 6 sees us stay top but with Shaheen right on our tail, the league doesn't look like it's going to be as close this season. Makoto Nakamura
October & November 2017 We're now halfway through the season and to be honest, I don't see us being caught even though we're just 4 points clear, I'm probably going to jinx it now but our results are good and our goal difference is far superior to everyone elses and now my mind leads to wonder how badly we'll do in the AFC Cup in a few months time. Makoto Nakamura
December 2017 2 more solid if unspectacular wins further cements our place in 1st, next up we face Mawjhal which I feel could essentially be the title winning match, beat them and we're 10 points clear with 4/5 games to go. Makoto Nakamura
January 2018 Not great news for Afghan football fans as from next season they lose their AFC Cup Group Stage place and have to go through qualifying, luckily we don't have to go through that. In the league 2 more wins and we still haven't won the league and Mawjhal won their game in hand and I think all we need is 1 point from the last 3 games and not concede 10 goals without scoring and we win the league, should be a piece of cake.
Makoto Nakamura
February 2018 Great news is that we've retained the league! And fingers crossed with just a game left against Shaheen we can also finish the season undefeated, in the AFC Cup I honestly have no clue what to expect although I feel like Afghanistan are the lowest reputation of the countries in our group so I'm guessing I'd do well to not finish bottom, and we got £15,640 TV money so that's nice. Makoto Nakamura
March 2018 Our AFC Cup journey is basically over, we've not done too badly, we just lack the quality needed for continental competition, mathematically we can still qualify but I don't see it happening. Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2017/18 A poor Asian campaign but the season was made better by going through the league campaign undefeated and having a GD of +20 after just 20 games! And as you can see, we were just as dominant in the Reserves and Under 19's League! Makoto Nakamura
Klubi i Futbollit Ada Velipojë is an Albanian football club based in the city of Velipojë which is situated in Shkodër County. The club's home ground is the Reshit Rusi Stadium and they currently compete in the Albanian First Division. The club was founded on 6 March 1996 as a sports society by Lazër Matia, Alfred Pjetri, Filip Kercunga, Marash Qytetza and Prend Përndreca. The name Ada derives from the Adriatic island of Ada Bojana in nearby Montenegro. A previous club had existed in the city under the name KS Velipoja, which was run by the Municipality before funding was stopped and the team dissolved. KF Ada first competed in the Albanian Third Division, but they soon achieved promotion to the Albanian Second Division. In the 2004–05 season KF Ada reached the playoffs of the Second Division and beat KS Burreli 2–1 in the final to achieve promotion to the Albanian First Division. Velipojë is a village and a former municipality in Shkodër County, northwestern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Shkodër. Makoto Nakamura
Pre-Season 2018/19 Some good morale boosting wins in our long pre-season, I was very surprised that we only lost 2-0 to Deportivo as well. I just don't want to be relegated really. Quite a few players brought in leaves our squad looking like this going in to match #1. Makoto Nakamura
November 2018 We're just a joy to watch aren't we? a very late win over Terbuni and a very early win over Illiria who you may or may not remember were my first team in last seasons attempt of this challenge, sandwiched between this was 2 also very narrow defeats and it sees just at the top of the relegation playoff group. Looks like you are doing alright compared to media expectations! Basically the league is 18 games then it splits into the promotion stage for top 5 teams and relegation stage for the bottom 5 teams where you then play eachother twice leading to a total of 26 games, whoever finishes top after 26 games gets promoted and whoever finishes bottom gets relegated, here's what the league looked like last season: League Table - Promotion Stage - Relegation Stage

Makoto Nakamura
April 2019 Not a great month with the only goal being late in the game against Illiria which ended up relegating them to the 3rd tier and with just 2 games left it's time to start planning on next season where the ideal scenario would be whoever gets relegated from the top tier sacking their manager and giving me an interview.
