August 15th: Leicester City (H) (2/46)

We again started well and on the 13th minute the referee awarded us a penalty after G.Bear was brought in the area after running through the defence, A.Marks stepped up for the penalty and fired the ball into the bottom corner to beat the keeper. Five minutes later we grabbed a second goal as A.Marks sprinted into the area and headed in a C.Fantu corner after J.Scottlee of Hesselink’s initial effort was well saved. On the half hour we added a third goal as a Leicester player handled an A.Anymoredohnuts effort in the area, A.Marks stepped up for his second penalty and sent the keeper the wrong way to complete his hattrick. With five minutes remaining in the half Leicester pulled a goal back as S.Carl Goatsburg slipped in possession of the ball and P.Gallagher reacted the quickest and fired the ball past the outstretched M.Wilson.

Half Time Score 3-1

I made two changes to the team at half time with S.Saville and F.F.Tikle Wok coming on for S.Stoehr and A.Anymoredohnuts. Three minutes into the game we grabbed another goal as A.Marks played a wonderful ball to the feet of F.F.Tikle-Wok who slotted the ball around the Leicester keeper. On the 57th minute Leicester came close to pulling a goal back as they broke through the defence and fired towards goal but M.Wilson tipped the ball around the post. Twelve minutes later we came close to adding another goal as C.Fantu rounded the Leicester keeper but somehow managed to fire wide of the post. On the stroke of full time we had one last chance as to score with F.F.Tikle-Wok heading straight into the keepers arms when it was easier score

August 18th: Reading (A) (3/46)

A frantic opening few minutes saw us go a goal down on the 2nd minute as J.Henry hit a wonderful chip over the head of M.Wilson who was alittle too far off his line. However seven minutes later we were back on level terms as J.Scottlee of Hesselink showed a great turn of pace to beat his marker to a C.Fantu ball to fire under the onrushing Reading keeper. On the 19th minute though we again went a goal down as the defence seemed to fall asleep as a deep cross landed perfectly on the head of J.Henry to beat M.Wilson at his near post. Ten minutes later we had the chance to level the scores as S.Stoehr barged into the area and fired towards goal but the referee blew his whistle for a so called foul in the build up. On the 37th minute Reading had the next real effort with a great team move which saw there striker one on one with M.Wilson who redeemed himself with a fine block. With five minutes remaining in the half we grabbed the equaliser as J.Scottlee of Hesselink bravely headed in a low cross from G.Bear to beat the Reading keeper.

Half Time Score 2-2

I made two changes to the team at half time with M.Kowalski and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for L.Schnitzel and A.Anymoredohnuts. On the 58th minute Reading broke free of my defence to fire towards goal but M.Wilson was alert enough to block the effort and clear the loose ball. Six minutes later we were given the chance to grab the lead after G.Bear was brought down in the area for a penalty, A.Marks grabbed the ball and placed it on the spot, he hit the ball with plenty of venom but no accuracy and the ball went high and wide of the goal much to the annoyance of J.Scottlee of Hesselink. On the 78th minute we had another chance to score but F.F.Tikle-Wok headed the ball just wide of the post

August 22nd: Millwall (H) (4/46)

We got off to a bad start as Millwall grabbed an early with T.Pekhart firing in on the 6th minute. Eleven minutes later we had our first chance as F.F.Tikle-Wok ran through the defence with ease and fired towards goal but his effort was well saved by the Millwall keeper. On the 27th minute we came close again as G.Bear crossed into the area but M.Kowalski headed wide of the post.

Half Time Score 0-1

I made a couple of changes at half time with B.Arsenal and D.O’Toole coming on for T.Owens and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. Twelve minutes into the half we went a further goal down as M.Gradel beat the offside trap with ease and fired under the onrushing H.Chaha. On the 63rd minute we went another goal down as T.Pekhart curled the ball past H.Chaha. Two minutes later we pulled a goal back as G.Bear crossed into the area and F.F.Tikle-Wok headed in past the Millwall keeper. On the 75th minute we grabbed another goal as D.O’Toole barged into the area and fired the ball in off the upright. With three minutes remaining in the game Millwall had another chance with a thunderous effort which H.Chaha managed to save well

August 25th: Hull City (A) League Cup 2nd Round

Hull showed us the step in class we need to make if and when we get promoted to the Premier League. Hull battered us and on the 16th minute they had the first chance to score as they broke down the wing and crossed in but H.Chaha punched the ball clear of the post, Ten minutes later they had another chance with a powerful effort which was blocked by T.Owens. On the 33rd minute Hull finally grabbed the lead as R.Sneijder showed some skill to turn S.Carl Goatsburg and fired the ball under H.Chaha. With three minutes remaining in the half Hull made it 2-0 as L.Griffiths slotted home from close range after a melee in the area left him free.

Half Time Score 2-0

I made a couple of changes to the team at half time with S.Stoehr and D.O’Toole coming on for A.Marks and F.F.Tikle-Wok. A minutes into the game we pulled a goal back as D.O’Toole took advantage of some poor Hull defending. On the 49th minute though Hull regained there two goal advantage as P.Ji-Sung barged into the area and fired past H.Chaha who was alittle slow to react. Seven minutes later it was 4-1 as D.Gibson hit a wonderful effort past my defence and H.Chaha. Straight from kick off Hull intercepted the ball and K.Ghilas jinked into the area and curled the ball past the keeper to send the home crowd wild. Hull continued to batter us but the defence held firm and we were knocked out of the League Cup

Post Match Review: We never really got going against the Premiership side and it showed us how much of step up we need to make. We were very sloppy with the ball and this is something we need to improve on. The Man of the Match Award goes to C.Fantu who tried in vain to get the team going

August 29th: Brighton (A) (5/46)

Brighton started the brighter and on the 18th minute they came close to opening the s coring as they broke through my defence however G.Burgess reacted well and saved the day. Eleven minutes later they broke through again but S.Carl Goatsburg sprinted back and cleared the ball. On the 36th minute we had our next chance as C.Fantu crossed into the area but F.F.Tikle-Wok failed to connect with the header properly and the ball screwed off his head wide. Just before the break Brighton had another chance to score with a rasping effort which was blocked by a diving M.Kowalski.

Half Time Score 0-0

The second half saw Brighton continuing there pressure and on the 54th minute they came close to grabbing the opener with a great team move which was ended with a well timed crunching challenge by S.Carl Goatsburg. On the 70th minute I made a couple of changes with S.Stoehr and D.O’Toole coming on for G.Bear and F.F.Tikle-Wok. Nine minutes later we had the chance to grab an undeserved winner as S.Saville ran into the area but before he had the chance to shoot the Brighton defence slid in and cleared the ball.

Post Match Review: How we managed to get a point out of this game I really don’t know. We were battered from start to finish but thanks to our defence we managed to keep a clean sheet. The Man of the Match Award will be going to S.Carl Goatsburg who was dominant in defence like the rest of the back four

September 15th: Watford (A) (7/46)

Watford started well and on the 8th minute they had the first chance of the game as a long ball over the top beat my defence but G.Burgess reacted well to block the volley. Seven minutes later they had another chance as the defence was beaten again but G.Burgess managed to tip the effort round the post. On the 23rd minute Watford came close again with a rasping effort which beat everyone apart from the upright. With eleven minutes remaining in the half Watford finally got the goal they deserved as S.Hunt rose above the defence to head the ball over G.Burgess. On the 38th minute it was 2-0 as S.Long jinked through the defence with ease and slotted into the empty net.

Gaffer, given that I was this season's top rated defender does that mean you'll stop with the dropping me to let others in (I am the Skipper) and drop someone else instead? :D
Mr Kowalski I will try and make sure you get more starts

Yet I seem to have been dropped again, and without explanation AGAIN!

I'm really not happy Gaffer :D

September 19th: Plymouth (H) (8/46)

Another poor performance as Plymouth controlled much of the game. On the 7th minute they had the first chance as there attacker beat the offside trap but G.Burgess reacted well to save the ball Eleven minutes later Plymouth took the lead as J.Franks ran onto a great throughball to fire under G.Burgess. On the 33rd minute the Plymouth side piled through the midfield but M.Kowalski slid in a cleared the ball. Four minutes later Plymouth doubled there lead as D.Stevens rose above my defence to head in off the upright. On the stroke of half time we came close to losing goal number three but the Plymouth attack was thwarted with yet another thunderous challenge by M.Kowalski.

After giving the team a rollicking I made one change as S.Saville came on for the less than impressive S.Stoehr. Ten minutes into the half Plymouth were awarded a penalty after T.Owens was adjudged to have handled the ball, the Plymouth striker stepped up and fired towards goal but G.Burgess guessed right and saved the ball. On the 65th minute we again came close to losing another goal but M.Kowalski timed his challenge in the area brilliantly to clear the ball. With four minutes remaining in the game we had G.Burgess to thank after he brilliantly saved a long range effort to deny the away side

I’m far from happy and we need to seriously improve lads. The physio has reported that A.Anymoredohnuts will be out of action for around 5-8 days after bruising his head during the game. The Man of the Match Award will be going to M.Kowalski who kept the score line respectable with a fine Captains performance, however I will be looking at him to gear the team up and get them to pull there bloody fingers out

Preston started well and on the 3rd minute they went into the lead as A.Johansson hit a wonderous effort past the outstretched arms of G.Burgess. Eight minutes later it was two nil as G.O’Connor with far too much ease and fired under the slow to react G.Burgess. On the 21st minute we managed to pull a goal back as D.O’Toole headed in a Panpardus corner after A.Anymoredohnuts initial effort was well saved. Just before the break Preston had another chance as they broke through the lacklustre defence again but G.Burgess saved well to deny them.

Half Time Score 2-1

I made two changes at half time with G.Bear and J.Scottlee of Hesselink coming on for A.Marks and A.Anymoredohnuts. The second half wasn’t much better as Preston dominated and on the 63rd minute they grabbed another goal as P.Reyes easily beat the defence and curled the ball into the net with ease. Ten minutes later we conceded another goal as a poor clearance was intercepted by the Preston front line however T.Owens reacted well and blocked the effort. The second half saw Rotherham control much of the play and on the 57th minute they came close with a rasping effort which had H.Chaha at full stretch to save. Eight minutes later I made a couple of changes with C.de Bruijn and J.Scottlee of Hesselink coming on for A.Marks and D.O’Toole. On the 77th minute Rotherham came close to taking a deserved lead as L.Schnitzel failed to deal with a simple ball however B.Arsenal managed to block the effort

Hardly Athletic 1 F.F.Tikle-Wok 1

Rotherham 1 R.O’Donovan 22

H.Chaha, B.Arsenal, G.Spavlachenko, T.Owens, L.Schnitzel, C.Fantu, A.Marks © (65-C.de Bruijn), S.Stoehr, G.Bear, D.O’Toole (65-J.Scottlee of Hesselink), F.F.Tikle-Wok

Post Match Review: A better performance than the previous game but we just aren’t defending as a team and giving the ball away far too easily. We need to put this last month behind us and start to build from there. I have every faith in you guys and I expect you to repay that faith. The Man of the Match Award will be going to B.Arsenal who was pretty solid in defence

October 3rd: Sheffield United (A) (11/46)

A minute into the game we conceded a penalty after G.Spavlachenko brought down a United player in the area, B.Sharp stepped up for the kick but M.Wilson guessed right and saved the ball. On the 5th minute United took the lead as B.Sharp made up for his missed penalty with a jinking run past the defence and wasted no time in firing under M.Wilson. Twelve minutes later United had another chance as they broke into the defence with ease and fired towards goal but the effort was well saved by M.Wilson. On the 37th minute we had our first chance as S.Stoehr ran through the United defence and fired towards goal but his effort was tipped round the post by the keeper. With two minutes remaining in the half United doubled there lead as B.Sharp curled the ball in from the edge of the area after breaking in from the wing

Half Time Score 2-0

I made one change to the team at half time with Panpardus coming on for A.Marks. Eight minutes into the half we had the chance to open our scoring as F.F.Tikle-Wok headed a B.Arsenal cross into the area but his effort was easily saved. On the 66th minute United came close to adding another goal with a rasping effort but the shot was well saved by M.Wilson. Eleven minutes later we should have grabbed a goal as G.Bear hit a thunderous effort against the keeper but F.F.Tikle-Wok failed to tap the loose ball in. Deep into injury time we pulled a goal back as J.Scottlee of Hesselink headed in a Panpardus cross, however it was too late to press for the equaliser.

Post Match Review: The first half wasn’t great as we gave Sheffield United too much of the ball. However the second half was a lot better and if we were more alittle more clinical in front of the goal we would have grabbed at least a point. Lets build from this second half performance lads. The game did come at a cost though as we lost B.Arsenal for around a month after pulling his hamstring late in the game. The Man of the Match Award will be going to M.Wilson who kept us in the game during the first half

October 17th: Doncaster (H) (12/46)

Doncaster came out with all guns blazing and on the 11th minute they had the first chance as a slip in defence by G.Spavlachenko saw there attacker one on one with M.Wilson who reacted well to smother the ball at the feet of the attacker. Nine minutes later Doncaster grabbed the lead as D.Blackstock beat T.Owens to the ball with ease and fired under the body of M.Wilson. On the 29th minute the away side had another chance as the team decided to ball watch but luckily for us the Doncaster attacker failed to hit the net. Seven minutes later we came close to conceding another goal with a loose ball by A.Marks being intercepted but yet again the Doncaster front line failed to capitalize. With two minutes remaining in the half I was forced into a change as T.Owens pulled up chasing the ball. I brought on club Captain M.Kowalski as his replacement. A minute into injury time we conceded another goal as D.Blackstock barged through the defence and hit home with ease.

Half Time Score 0-2

Eight minutes into the second half we came close to conceding another goal as a long ball over the top wasn’t dealt with by the majority of the team but M.Kowalski reacted well and hoofed the ball clear of goal. On the 63rd minute we had our first chance of the game as G.Spavlachenko sprinted down the wing and crossed the ball into the area but noone was there to head in. Eleven minutes later Doncaster were awarded a penalty after L.Schnitzel was adjudged to have fouled in the area, luckily for us the Doncaster penalty taker fluffed the kick and it sailed high and wide of the goal

Post Match Review: Another dire performance with little if any positives to take from the game. The physio didn’t improve my mood with news that T.Owens will be out for around a month with a pulled hamstring. The Man of the Match Award will be going to Captain M.Kowalski who kept us in the game during the second half and showed why he is captain as he handed out several rollicking’s. Lads we seriously need to improve otherwise its going to be another struggle to stay in this League.

October 24th: Coventry City (A) (13/46)

Two minutes into the game we grabbed the lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink ran into the area unmarked and headed in a great cross by A.Marks. On the 8th minute we had another chance as G.Bear hit a powerful effort towards goal but the City keeper saved well. Nine minutes later we doubled our lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink beat the City offside trap and rounded the keeper to slide the ball into the empty net. On the 27th minute we came close to another goal as a long ball over the top by L.Schnitzel was volleyed towards goal by A.Marks but his effort was acrobatically tipped round the post. On the half hour we added goal number three with J.Scottlee of Hesselink curling the ball in from the corner of the area to complete his hattrick and a brilliant first half for us.

Half Time Score 0-3

I made two changes to the team at half time with S.Saville and A.Anymoredohnuts coming on for C.Fantu and D.O’Toole. On the 49th minute we had our next chance as A.Marks threaded the ball to the feet of A.Anymoredohnuts who lashed the ball wide of the post. Eleven minutes later City had there first real chance of the game as they broke through the defence but M.Kowalski teamed up with G.Spavlachenko to stop the attack. On the 77th minute we piled forward and A.Anymoredohnuts slid the ball to the feet of J.Scottlee of Hesselink but his effort went wide of the post. With a minute remaining in the game City pulled a goal back as A.Pepper rose highest to head in a deep cross past M.Wilson

Post Match Review: Well done lads, this is the sort of response I was wanting from you. Lets build from this and start to get clear of this relegation threat. The Man of the Match Award was a tough choice between A.Marks who was a constant threat from midfield and J.Scottlee of Hesselink for his hattrick. I have decided it will be the hattrick hero J.Scottlee of Hesselink as goals win games

October 25th: I was informed by my assistant that C.de Bruijn has been complaining in the press that he was unhappy with position he was playing in. I called him into my office and informed him that he will be fined a weeks wages for his unprofessional behaviour.

International news sees S.Carl Goatsburg playing in Thailand’s 3-0 World Cup Qualifying victory over Guam, he played 45 minutes and earnt a rating of 6.5

We have abit of an injury crisis in the defence so I put you in there to cover

October 31st: Derby County (H) (14/46)

We again started well and on the 13th minute we came close to grabbing the lead as C.Fantu crossed into the area but D.O’Toole fluffed his header and the ball went over the crossbar. Nine minutes later we grabbed the lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink unleashed a thunderbolt from 25 yards to give the County keeper no chance of saving. Just after the half hour we had another with A.Marks rattling the crossbar from the edge of the area. With two minutes remaining in the half we had another chance as G.Spavlachenko crossed into the area but J.Scottlee of Hesselink headed straight into the arms of the keeper.

Half Time Score 1-0

I made a couple of changes at half time with Panpardus and A.Anymoredohnuts coming on C.Fantu and D.O’Toole. On the 53rd minute Derby came close to equalising as they broke through the defence but M.Kowalski reacted well and cleared the threat with a thunderous challenge. Five minutes later Derby were reduced to ten men after L.Buxton was sent off for a second yellow. On the 71st minute Derby had another chance to score as there attack jinked into the area but C.de Bruijn slid in a cleared the ball. With three minutes remaining in the game we should have killed the game off as we were awarded a penalty after A.Anymoredohnuts was brought down in the area, J.Scottlee of Hesselink stepped up and fired towards goal but the Derby keeper saved well.

Post Match Review: Another excellent performance to end the month on. The first half we were brilliant and even in the second half when Derby threatened we defended as a team. You currently have a happy manager. The Man of the Match Award will be going to A.Marks who was again brilliant in midfield

Cheers Captain, the lads better listen to you

November 6th: International news sees S.Carl Goatsburg playing 45 minutes for Thailand in there 2-1 World Cup Qualifier against Cambodia, he earnt himself a rating of 6.5

November 7th: Notts County (A) (15/46)

Before the game I was informed by the physio that T.Owens is ready for full training after his injury.

On the 5th minute we had the chance to silence the home crowd as D.O’Toole jinked into the area and fired towards goal but his effort was well saved by the County keeper. Nine minutes later though County were awarded a dodgy penalty after B.Arsenal was adjudged to have fouled in the area, M.Thornhill stepped up and send M.Wilson the wrong way to open the scoring. On the 25th minute we had another chance to score as A.Marks crossed into the area for J.Scottlee of Hesselink who headed wide of the post. With a minute remaining in the half we finally got the equaliser we deserved as D.O’Toole sprinted onto a G.Bear throughball and fired under the keeper.

Half Time Score 1-1

I made a couple of changes at half time with C.de Bruijn and A.Anymoredohnuts coming on for G.Spavlachenko and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. Eight minutes into the half County retook the lead as M.Thornhill beat the offside trap to fire in low past M.Wilson. On the 62nd minute County made it 3-1 as D.Pugh barged through the defence and curled the ball in off the upright to give M.Wilson no chance of saving. Nine minutes later we pulled a goal back as D.O’Toole bravely headed in a C.Fantu cross after running into the area unmarked. On the 78th minute we came close again as A.Anymoredohnuts sprinted onto a S.Stoehr throughball to fire towards goal but his effort was easily saved by the County keeper. On the stroke of full time we should have been awarded a penalty after D.O’Toole was having his shirt ripped off his back by the defenders, however the referee just waved play on. I was livid and was warned by the fourth official

Notts County 3 M.Thornhill 14 pen, 53, D.Pugh 62

Post Match Review: A good performance lads in which we should have earnt at least a point but for some dire refereeing decisions. Keep up the performances lads and I’ll be very happy. The Man of the Match Award will be going to D.O’Toole who was a constant pain in the County defence

November 8th: The FA have informed me that no further action will be taken against me for the words said to the referee, however they have warned me about my future conduct.. I felt like telling them to jog on

November 15th: International news sees S.Carl Goatsburg captaining Thailand in there 3-1 World Cup Qualifying victory over Cambodia, he played the full ninety minutes getting booked, creating a goal and earning a rating of 7.0. So not a bad day at the office really

EoinS - Good to see you following, it took awhile to set up and get going but I'm really enjoying it

November 21st: Crystal Palace (H) (16/46)

Palace took an early lead as G.Kenneth ran into the area past M.Kowalski and fired under the keeper. On the 8th minute we equalised as D.O’Toole hit a powerful effort past the Palace keeper from just outside the area after breaking free of the Palace defence. Nine minutes later we had another chance to score as A.Marks crossed into the area for Panpardus who headed the ball just wide of the post. On the 24th minute we took the lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink ran in onto a G.Spavlachenko throughball and fired under the body of the Palace keeper. With twelve minutes remaining in the half we had yet another chance with Panpardus trying his luck from the corner of the area but his effort went just over the crossbar.

Half Time Score 2-1

I made one change at halftime with C.de Bruijn coming on for A.Marks. On the 49th minute Palace came close to pulling level with a well struck effort which was well saved by M.Wilson. Nine minutes later we had our next chance as J.Scottlee of Hesselink rose highest to nod a Panpardus cross just over the crossbar. On the 67th minute though J.Scottlee of Hesselink grabbed his second of the game as he ran onto a S.Stoehr threaded pass and fired in off the upright to send the home fans wild. Eight minutes later we made it 4-1 as C.Fantu crossed into the area and F.F.Tikle-Wok headed the ball in over the Palace keeper.

November 28th: Bristol City (A) (17/46)

Five minutes into the game we conceded a silly goal as D.Clarkson barged through the defence with ease and rounded M.Wilson and slotted into the empty net. On the 12th minute they had another chance with a long range effort which diverted off G.Spavlachenko. Nine minutes later we grabbed the equaliser as J.Scottlee of Hesselink jinked into the area and fired past the outstretched arms of the City keeper. On the 24th minute though City retook the lead as N.Maynard rose highest to beat M.Kowalski to the ball and head past M.Wilson. Ten minutes later City added another goal as M.Elliott beat the offside trap with ease and fired past M.Wilson.

Half Time Score 3-1

I made one change to the team at half time with D.O’Toole coming on for A.Anymoredohnuts. Six minutes into the half I was forced into a change as T.Owens replaced M.Kowalski who was on the end of a high challenge. On the 56th minute we pulled a goal back as C.Fantu curled in a great freekick from 25 yards after J.Scottlee of Hesselink was brought down on the way to goal. Twelve minutes later we grabbed the equaliser as Panpardus threaded the ball to the feet of J.Scottlee of Hesselink who lashed a great effort past the keeper. On the 79th minute we had another chance to score as C.Fantu crossed into the area for D.O’Toole who headed wide of the post. With a minute remaining in the game City grabbed the winner as M.Elliott fired in his second of the game with a thunderous effort.

Post Match Review: We finally started to play in the second half and dominated the game. However the first half was dire and we need to make sure we play the full match. We will be without captain M.Kowalski for around a week after badly bruising his ribs early in the second half. The Man of the Match Award will be going to J.Scottlee of Hesselink who was a constant threat upfront

November 30th: Injury news sees S.Carl Goatsburg out of action for around 2-3 weeks after damaging his foot in training. Other news sees the draw for the FA Cup 3rd Round taking place and we have been drawn away from home against League Two side Accrington

We will be without G.Spavlachenko for around two weeks after damaging his elbow late in the first half. The Man of the Match Award will be going to Panpardus who was brilliant in the midfield

Post Match Review: First half great, second half crap simple as that. The Man of the Match Award will be going to M.Kowalski who kept the West Brom attack at bay during the second half

Its just rotation mate, got to keep everyone happy with the size of the squad I've got is quite difficult

December 30th: Leicester City (A) (24/46)

We were by far the better team and on the 23rd minute we opened the scoring as C.Fantu crossed into the area and S.Saville headed in past the Leicester keeper. Nine minutes later we had another chance as G.Bear jinked into the area and curled the ball just past the keeper but not the upright. With five minutes remaining in the half Leicester grabbed the equaliser as P.Gallagher headed in past M.Wilson after some poor defending by the team in general. Deep into first half injury time though we retook the lead as G.Bear ran through the defence with ease and fired under the Leicester keeper.

Half Time Score 1-2

I made two changes to the team at half time as S.Carl Goatsburg and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for L.Schnitzel and A.Anymoredohnuts. Three minutes into the half we added another goal as J.Scottlee of Hesselink ran onto a C.Fantu throughball to slot under the Leicester keeper. On the hour Leicester pulled a goal back as P.Gallagher grabbed his second of the game with a rasping effort which went in off the upright. On the 69th minute we were given another chance to score after J.Scottlee of Hesselink was brought down in the area for a penalty, M.Kowalski stepped up for the penalty and fired it low past the Leicester keeper. Eleven minutes later we had our next chance as F.F.Tikle-Wok barged through the defence and fired past the keeper however the referee ruled the goal out for a foul in the build up. With four minutes remaining in the game the final goal was scored as a miracle happened with G.Spavlachenko running into the area and fired past the Leicester keeper to score his first goal for the club.

Leicester City 2 P.Gallagher 40, 60

Hardly Athletic 5 S.Saville 23, G.Bear 45+1, J.Scottlee of Hesselink 48, M.Kowalski 69 pen, G.Spavlachenko 86

M.Wilson, B.Arsenal, M.Kowalski ©, T.Owens, L.Schnitzel (45-S.Carl Goatsburg), C.Fantu, G.Spavlachenko, S.Saville, G.Bear, J.Scottlee of Hesselink, A.Anymoredohnuts (45-F.F.Tikle-Wok)

Post Match Review: What a great way to end the year with a convincing victory. Leicester in truth were lucky to have scored two gaols. The Man of the Match Award will be going to G.Spavlachenko for finally finding the correct net and scoring. Well done Gav

January 2nd 2016: Accrington (A) FA Cup 3rd Round

We made light work of Accrington and on the 14th minute we grabbed the lead as A.Anymoredohnuts ran through the defence and fired under the Accrington keeper. Seven minutes later we had another chance with a rasping effort which saw the keeper at full stretch to save. On the 33rd minute we had yet another chance as G.Bear tried his luck from the corner of the area but his effort clipped the corner of the crossbar and went over. Just before the break Accrington had there first chance as they beat the offside trap but H.Chaha reacted well and saved the ball well.

Half Time Score 0-1

I made two changes to the team at half time with L.Schnitzel and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for the injured T.Owens and D.O’Toole. On the 59th minute we came close to grabbing the second goal with S.Stoehr rattling the upright from 25 yards after making room for himself in the centre of the field. Nine minutes later A.Anymoredohnuts grabbed his and our second of the game after running onto a S.Saville threaded pass. On the 77th minute A.Anymoredohnuts had the chance to grab his hattrick but his headed was easily saved.

Accrington 0

Post Match Review: A good performance as we did just enough to beat Accrington without getting out of first gear. We will be without T.Owens for around a week after bruising his shin late in the first half. The Man of the Match award will be going to A.Anymoredohnuts who grabbed himself a couple of goals and basically controlled the front line

January 4th: The draw for the FA Cup 4th Round has taken place and we have been drawn away to Premiership side Chelsea
