  1. In principle, if an English team wins the EuroCup, its place in the EuroLeague will be taken by the next team in its own league, so yes, by an English team. During the first tests I did it didn't jump out at me that a team was playing both competitions... I hope I saw it right
  2. Using only the continental qualification system without touching anything I always have a problem, usually an extra team. So I tried the trick Wolf mentioned and it seems to work. I am now waiting to see with several qualified winners what will happen ! It goes with one already !
  3. I have a trouble with this because the editor ask for rules for the one who left... Yes, that's what I thought, but it seems to work only for the top three in each group in the competition itself, otherwise in the team history their league history stops showing. Great thanks I will look it ! Edit: The @krlenjushka file seems to be a good basis, I didn't know that it was possible to anticipate the change to a different number of child competition in Child Competition/Regional Rules. Thanks again for your help @crooy3 !
  4. It might take too long to set up as I would like to use the classic continental qualification system rather than customise one which is very time consuming
  5. Thanks @Wolf_pd I did qualify the winner first and then the next line I marked it as ignored before taking the other qualified teams. I would like to rebuild the Conference League into 4 separate conferences, establish a final 4 winners and qualify the winner of this one in UCL and the other 3 in UEL.
  6. 1 - Is it possible to reduce the number of child competitions from one year to the next? For example, from 4 Child Comp in 2023 to 3 in 2024 (adjusting pro/rel. of course.) OR 2 - If not, is it possible to keep the individual ranking of each team in a competition divided into several groups. For example the 7th of group A will have in its history 7th of group A. I manage to keep the ranking of the first three but it seems that after them the teams do not record their ranking.
  7. Silly question but I can't do it. If a country's champion has won the UEL I have a mistake in UCL (one team too many) and the same goes for the Conference League. Does anyone have an idea?
  8. It seems to me that this championship is not in the DB so it may not find the final position. "Get Best Teams From Division" works for me.
  9. Sorry to pollute this thread but how do we do it? Do we have to merge the files of the different nations?
  10. I am working on something like that for Europe. The promotion/relegation system is quite easy to replicate. I can't find a format that really suits me but it's doable. Last year (FM22) I managed a regional pyramid system but the last update broke it. Here is this idea for the FM21 version.
  11. Hi my friend, You should find what you need in this competition (I hope.) There some screen shot but the best thing you can do is look inside by yourself because maybe I forget somethink... But it's look like it works like yours.
  12. I for one would appreciate it: - A precise explanation of the errors (with a proposed solution? ) - More precise information. Sometimes we have to test to find out what the option we have checked/unchecked really means. - Some templates would be nice. Like a regional promotion/relegation system or continental/international competitions, or a template for an All Star Game. Personally I like to dig into the advanced rules but it takes so much time. Sometimes we have a specific idea but the time to implement it takes us a whole opus. The answer is often right in front of us but to decipher the editor's language is
  13. Yes, you need to export your new DB in XML and then import it into the next release (FM21 to FM22.) It seems to me that this year the export to XML was not necessary. The editor could read the DB of the old one.
  14. @cleiria Here I ask each group to play the teams in their own group and then framed in green I ask the teams in group A (0) to play the teams in group B (1) and the teams in group C (2) to play the teams in group D (3) but only 4 matches but I could have asked to play fewer or more. To make sure you have the exact number of games played per team you can do as in the third screen.
  15. If your Final is Stage 2 (not round 2) then try with only this one.
  16. Strange. Did you try Fate Action/Winner/Champion in your round?
  17. You can do like that, it works for me. Stage 2 is the final for me, if for you it's Stage 1 change 2 by 1.
  18. First you open the advanced rules of the country you want (Italy) and then you add a rule. Then you open the advanced rules of the country from which you want to extract (Scotland) the league you want to import. You select it then Edit>Copy. Then you go back to the advanced rules of Italy, in the list you select your new rule then Edit>Paste. You only have to adjust it (Rename it, Pro/Rel. Etc.)
  19. You can also copy/paste the competition you want and then adjust the relegations/promotions with the lower and higher divisions.
  20. If it is indeed an extinct nation you can probably create your competition on a second file using the ID of your nation as it exists in the DB. EDIT: If you download these files you will see how Wolf has done to include these "new nations" in international competitions. This is FM20 but you should be able to import them.
  21. Are you using an extinct nation? If so you should use the same DB so that its ID is recognised, at least that seems logical to me. Look in the download section of @Wolf_pd's Iron Curtain. I am really sorry I never created a new nation.
  22. I think I saw @rusty217 talking about something like that but I can't find the post anymore. Maybe you have to rebuild the qualification system.
