  1. It doesn't seem notepad++ works for mac, but is there any difference between that and the TextEdit app which I have already? Here are 2 excel pics... the first is the one when I open the config file in excel, and the second is using a filter, where I have selected only the Stadium Backgrounds for example, would be awesome if there was a way to just copy all this, and bang it in a text document, with all the necessary coding brackets etc. But of course, I am probably dreaming as I have no idea what I am talking about when it comes to these files. 😂
  2. I have a graphics megapack, which includes competitions, person, nations, stadiums and stadiums insides etc. However, there is only one config file which contains the whole lot. First of all this file is quite slow, in scrolling etc, and also it is quite overwhelming as there is no real structure, everything is just dumped in there with no real order. All credit to those who have created the file and who have made it possible to add more graphical realism to the, I am not complaining, please don't get me wrong. I was just wondering, if there was a way to ‘sort’ all the data. I usually open the txt edit file if and when I want to add/alter any of the pictures… I have also just opened the file in excel which enabled me with the use of ‘filter’ to only see the ‘stadium inside’ data for example… And I would love to be able to chuck all that on its own into another txt document with all the <record from= " to=" etc. But I have no idea how to… Is there an easy way this can be done? I would really like to create a config file for each of the various folders, so that; Stadium Backgrounds has its own, insides its own, Person Backgrounds its own and so on. I feel that way, it would be easier to add and edit along the way, plus Im sure it will reduce the txt edit file size considerably thus making it slightly more responsive. Hope you can help, or perhaps let me know of someone who could help with this. Thanks p.s. I have added two screenshots, of how it looks when I have a small window and if I enlarge the window, thats when it gets slightly more unbearable as there isn't really any line separation.
  3. I have created new rules (basic) for the swedish league. How can I add the annual match called 'Swedish Rookie All Star'? This is a trial match, between young players i believe... In the editor I can add it to the cups section, but obv. its not any league, so therefore I am not able to add any teams to this 'cup'. When I load the default database and select Swedish leagues, it is there automatically, but it gets removed when I load up my own custom database. Any help? Thanks.
  4. Here is an updated version of the database, where I have edited the reserve league, as there is a new structure called 'Future Cup'. Its not the exact format as in real life, but its good enough for my liking. Lijodo - DEN 2.0.fmf
  5. I have created a whole new rules for Denmark, albeit basic. But I have Levels 1-11 playable, plus 5 levels (12-16) for 2. teams with no promotions to the normal league structure. Reserve and under 19 leagues also. I have added 4 cups, including the (extinct) supercup (I enjoy having a supercup) along with the main cup, and my 2 custom cups, one for lower league teams and one for the 2. team league structure. It would be cool to create a reserve and youth cup, but I don't really know how to do that (see screenshots) It seems in the basic rules, it does't find the teams when each division the teams are under 'reserve teams'. (perhaps in advanced rules this can be accomplished, by taking the necessary teams from each reserve/youth division?) I have tried to make it as close to the original system as possible, with a league split... There is however one slight difference. In real life, when the league splits (top/bottom 6) - Here is how it works pasted from Wikipedia: - The qualifying playoff is split into two groups, with the teams that finished the regular season in 7th, 10th, 11th, and 14th in one group and those finishing 8th, 9th, 12th, and 13th in the other. Each group plays home-and-away within its group. The top two teams from each group then enter a knockout tournament, with each match over two legs. If the Danish Cup winner is among the top two finishers in either playoff group, it is withdrawn from the knockout playoff and its opponent automatically advances to the tournament final. The winner of that tournament faces the third-place (or fourth-place) team from the championship playoff in a one-off match, with the winner entering the Europa League in the first qualifying round. The bottom two teams from each group then contest a relegation playoff with several steps, centered on a separate four-team knockout playoff, also consisting totally of two-legged matches: The third-placed teams in each group play over two legs, with the winners remaining in the Superliga and the losers advancing to a playoff final against the third-place team from the 1st Division. The bottom teams in each group play over two legs, with the winners advancing to a play-off final against the second-place team from the 1st Division, and the losers dropping to next season's 1st Division. The winners of each play-off final play in the next season's Superliga. - I guess this can be added if my database would be able to be converted to advanced rules, perhaps someone can help with this? 6. Registration in what way? U mean like this in the left menu like in this screenshot?
  7. Hi there I am looking for someone who can help me with some troubles I am having with one of my databases. I have added nation rules for Danish league system, managed to verify and save, yet in the second season the league doesn't update. If anyone has the time and fancies answering some of my questions and can possibly help, would really appreciate it! One file is where I have added a number of lower divisions, and the other is where I have started to create completely new rules, but I am still getting issues. (There are troubles for me this season because one team was forcefully removed from the 2. Division, usually 12 teams, but now 11 for the first season) The screenshot is what happened when i Tested Comps in the DEN TEST file (where I have created new nation rules from scratch - basic) I don't understand how this happens, or what that means exactly... Hope someone can help DEN TEST.fmf Lijodo - DEN.fmf

  9. I have created nation rules for Denmark... Everything verified. I have just tried out the 'test comps' for the first time, as usually I had been loading the game up and holidaying for a season, to discover that the leagues hadn't updated the following season. I will add my file, if anyone can help, I am getting these messages pop up when I run the test. Another thing... In the Danish Division 2, usually there are 12 teams, but one team has been forcefully removed, I dabbled in the Adv. Rules, and saw there were a few sections for the 2 division, I also loaded the default DB, and ran a season, and noticed that the division was updated the following season to accommodate 12 teams instead of the initial 11 teams in the 22/23 season... However this doesn't change the amount of teams relegated from Division 3, which should be 4, but in the database it is 3, and this doesn't change the following season. Also, I understand that only editing in the Basic Rules, it is limited how many specific changes you can make. I would really appreciate if someone can help me, just make it so that in my database, the 2. Div has 12 teams, and so that I can have 4 teams relegated from Div. 3, as the lower division has 4 groups, therefore each of the 4 group winners should be able to be promoted (I tried to create a promotion playoff, where the top teams in each group would play a mini league and the top 3 be promoted to try and work around this). Much appreciated. Lijodo - DEN.fmf
  10. Dude thats great! However I have always downloaded the 'Real name fix' files previously, but I prefered the long names, and of course I could just go and change them all in the file, which would be quite a lot easier than in the editor... However, when you change names in there, then isn't it right that nicknames disappear? (I know these are tiny details, but you will know what I mean). I have actually now pretty much changed 1000's of team/comp names etc in one editor file, which I HOPE, now I should be able to open up in next years game as well... It seems to have worked for me this time, as the majority of this file was from last seasons FM22 edits. Really appreciate your time and help tho, I will think about how I do it, if I just create a single lnc file just for Juve 23's haha are they that special?!
  11. Hey man, what do you mean by this, did I post in the wrong thread, if so, apologies, where should I post such questions about Pre Game Editor.
  12. Nah not interested in that, as I prefer long names.. I will remove the B team, and either add another B team (and just settle for the team being called Juventus B) or just create a new club (affiliate) and add it as a B team. Thanks for your help tho.
  13. No, but you can see there it says 'B Team' in Team type... That means, that down the left hand side, when you scroll down, you will see that 'B team' where you can change their name, division, kits etc etc... This is where I have changed their name, but it doesn't take effect. Does that make sense now? You can see in one of my first screens, the team type is set as B Team.
  14. Nah its 23... I also know that Juve now have the license but the U23 still seem to be Zebre... I have changed the name as shown in the Screenshot, but when i start a game, it doesn't take effect. Strange.. Even when I 'remove' the B team in the 'reserve team' section for Juventus, then add it again, then i cant change the name of that one, even when i try, it seems to just go back to default 'Juventus B' whenever I click away from the Name box. Its weird, I have also noticed, that even though I change the name of Sparta Pragues B team, to Praha instead of Prague, it doesn't take effect on a new load up... Even tho the first team does work with the new name.
  15. Hey there, So I have done a mass edit of Team names in my own pre game edit. Did Juve B team, their U23's, but for some reason, in game they still appear as Zebre. Any ideas, what am I missing here?
