Hey, thanks for this. I always miss notable players the season after they're retired. Or in Pogba's case "retired," ahem, ahem, ahem. I often add recently retired notable players to the data base as well as former managers. Nice that anyone who wants him in their game can just undo the ban in pre-game editor if they want. Thanks for Illing, didn't occur to me to check him! Speaking of Juventus - suprised that Huijsen didn't get a bump, or at least a bigger bump. I think Soule, rightfully, got a big bump. Rugani looks like he got a slight positive tweak, but I could be mistaken.

My HIGHLY uneducated guess is the just had a bad start and then was pressing too much, trying to make up for it. At least that's my hope. But delusion can wrong strong when it comes to YOUR CLUB. -

I watch a lot of Serie A. Onana was fantastic last season. I think thought and think Maignan is better, but Onana was fantastic last season. I do think Onana has been much better after a "shaky" (to be very generous) first 2 months. I still have high regard and hope for him IRL. -

I think you're probably just getting lucky. Most people are reporting EXTREME injuries to the point of it being "a bug." I may be mistaken but I think SI reduced injury frequency in latest patch. I don't want to jinx myself, but in recent versions of that game I've had remarkably few injuries and red cards. With injuries I do a LOT of rotating and check Medical Centre before every match to help me pick squad for given matches...also thinking ahead for upcoming matches. That seems to make a big difference. Or...maybe I've just been getting lucky myself. Damn, now I jinxed myself. -
I'd use the FM 24 preferred moves, I think they are a closer to replicating Iniesta in the game. I'd also add: Moves Into Channels Plays One-Twos Places Shot If you are trying to replicate 2013 FM Iniesta, remember he often played as a narrow left wing/advanced playmaker role. If you are making him natural or accomplished at AML I'd also add: Cuts in from the Left As @Marko1989 said, run with ball through centre, or runs with ball often is possible too. I think his high flair would probably be sufficient to have him dribbling often, but hey, its YOUR game, have fun with it!

It's pretty annoying. Last 3 (4?) edition of FM have been the buggiest for me...maybe I'd just been lucky for years prior. Given the major changes (complete overhaul?) planned for FM25 I may look back at these last few editions with the sentimentality I have for editions from a few years ago. Oh well, despite the flaws its still BY FAR the best game at what it does. Sigh. -

Using the PRE game editor I see that Set Pieces coaches jobs are set to Chairperson on both Club Contract panel and Non Playing History. I'd read that people had tried to sign Brentford Set Piece Coach Bernardo Cueva and couldn't, this may be why! I also saw that Arsenal set piece coach Nicolas Jover is also Chairperson. Both are set as Chairperson for current and past jobs. Chairperson Non Player History cant be edited, or removed line by line. Can only clear entire history and then manually recreate it. Setting Set Piece Coaches Job as Chairperson may make them UNTRANSFERABLE in game -

Thanks for clarifying. Brexit was removable in FM23...I don't remember how...I think there was a screen in Advanced Rules that had to be unclicked. I forget. Hope you guys find a way to remove it. I respect the GRIND!

I'm still editing and haven't tested making transfers to confirm it works, but it LOOKS like it will/should. By going to England-Relationships-Nations Treated as Non-Foreign and adding European Union under agreements it effectively works around Brexit. Brexit has still happened, but EU nations are treated as Non-Foreign (same way game treats UK & Ireland and Non-Foreign in game). I repeated this for Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This will only effect EU players coming into UK nations. I've also added Treated as Non-Foreign UK & Ireland to Spain, France and Italy (easily duplicated for any other nations effected). For Italy to treat UK players as Non-Foreign/Non-EU each player has to be manually edited in DB to UN-CHECK Treated As Non-EU in Italy box. The Treated as Non-Foreign (or Treated as Non-EU) is used in default for multiple nation including UK & Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Germany (I'm sure there are many others). It should allow English (and other UK nations) to sign EU players without restriction. HOWEVER, it will have the Brexit Work Permit system for other foreign players. And the game will still have the Brexit notification. \

Ah, I see. That's annoying. I've been doing a work around by going to England-Realtionships-Nations Treated as non-Foreign and adding Agreements- EU (same for Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) That makes EU players treated as non-foreign but other EU nations treat UK players as non-EU. I've edited that for a few leagues to treat UK&Ireland as EU as well. With Italy I then have to go to each player and uncheck the Treated as Non-EU in Italy box on the individual Players General screen. Pain in the butt, but it works. Edit: Its pretty simple to make EU treated as non-foreign in UK. The pain in the butt is to make them treated as EU/non-foreign in different leagues. I really only care about doing that in Italy, Spain and France.

Checking to make sure I understand correctly - Delete Brexit file in steam-steamapps-fm24-data-database-2300/2330/2340/2400 Restart FM Editor and the agreements for EU and EEA will be in England-Information-Agreements?

I was able to fix the issue. I did a FULL re-install, including removing ALL folders in: Documents OS (C)-Games-Steam-steamapps-common- Sports Interactive - Football Manager folder and Users-(UserName)-AppData-Local-Sports Interactive - Football Manager folder Uninstall FM24 Reboot Reinstall 24

Since yesterday's editor update patch I am unable to start a new game. When I get to the Choose Managerial Style Focus screen both Confirm icons are greyed out and inactive. I tried to post this to Technical Issues but couldn't find the Add New Issue icon.

Note: Save Game file won't upload When removing a future transfer from a player in db in game the player will be set to free transfer in game. The free transfer remains in game even after Clear all edits in db. At first I only noticed it in players I had used editor to ADD a free transfer and later decided to remove it. I later noticed that it was also the case for players who initially had Future Transfer that I removed Examples: 1 - Edited David Fratttesi - remove Future Transfer from Sassuolo to Inter and Edited club and transfer information (Club Contract info, Player History, Non Playing History and Past Transfers) to make him already Inter player). After edit Frattesi is at Inter but had Ftr icon next to name in Squad scree, Future Free transfer set for July 7 2024 2 - Carlos Augusto - same. 3 - this also happened with players I added a Future Transfer to and then decided to remove. 4 - When Future Transfer (and all other associated edits) are removed from Edited db, the player is still set for a transfer to originally designated club on originally deisgnated date, for free even though it is no longer in db (note I have not yet tested this with players like Frattesi and Carlos Augusto who had future transfer in default db) 5 - Even when CLEAR all edits issue persists Note: Since Editor update I am unable to start a new game (thus i am unable to test to see if the above "bug" applies to Frattesi and others. When I start new game and get to the Choose Managerial Style screen, but Confirm icons are greyed out and inactive. I had the problem with the Future Transfer PRIOR to Editor update)

Have you tried Nations Treated as non-Foreign menu tab and adding European Union? This SHOULD work for importing players from EU to UK nations, but UK players will still be treated as non-EU by EU nations (unless they have a non-foreign clause for UK nations).

Pre-Game Editor (as well as Resource Archiver) are released day of release of full game. However, I dont think they've ever been release literally simultaneously. The Editor typically is released "shortly" after the full game. Every year, the day of full game is release, there are posts "where is the editor?" "why dont I have editor in my steam library?" etc. Editor gets released "shortly" after full game release. What "shortly" is, I can not say. An hour? 20 minutes? 2 hours?
