Thanks @fer7fuenla, yeah we're aware of this issue and it should be fixed for full release. It should also start working properly in your current save once your league season starts

Hi,
The way we make coaches available is u23s and first team coaches available for use by both squads - and u18s staff stick to u18s.
If you have examples of staff that don't seem to follow this could you provide their names and a save please.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback.
To confirm, in game we have injuries set to about 80% of the rate that they occur at in real life during a normal season, and we've made no changes to the injury code to account for the rise in numbers we've seen this season.
That said, the busy schedule is mirrored in game and overworked players are more likely to pick up injuries.
I'm happy that currently the overall injury numbers in game are about right, so hopefully if you've been particularly unlucky with them in the early stages of your save then you'll see it balance out as you continue further!

We don't intentionally don't have Tackling as an individual focus due to the nature of tackling it would need more than 1 person involved, and our research suggests clubs don't tend to run "Tackling" drills in general due to risk of injury etc. This was the same in FM20.

This is linked to a known issue regarding some limited UI on the Training Calendar during pre-season. Once your league season is underway you should be able to scroll through the months and copy/paste schedules as usual
And it should be fully fixed for pre-season for full release too

Hi @Arab. You may need to continue the game to allow it to process the change in squad. Let us know if that doesn't resolve the problem, and if you could provide a save game then that would be great!

Thanks for raising this. Do you have a save game from just before this news item generates? And out of interest, have you seen the Praise and Criticise buttons present on the following versions of this news item? I think it may be linked to the start of season when not many training sessions have happened yet

You should be able to bring new staff in to the club to fill the roles, though.

Hi @Teme55, thanks for your post. This is a known issue - it should only happen during pre-season and once the season starts it should fix itself. Hopefully you shouldn't be prevented from making any schedule changes for the upcoming week

As mentioned in a comment above, Youth Recruitment is the way to impact this. A higher YR rating means you'll be able to bring players in from further afield, making it more likely to find players worth poaching.

Hi all,
Quick update on this.
To clear up exactly what the issue is - players at game start who do not have a Determination attribute set in the database are being given too low a value. The value being given currently tends to be at one extreme or the other. This is partly by design as the majority of players this applies to are young, and at this age the spread is much more varied - but currently the numbers are skewed too far towards the lower end of the scale.
The changes we've made to player development and progression for FM20 mean that player with a low Determination attribute don't have to be written off as useless - these mental attributes are now much more flexible in both directions and although a player's starting point may be a bit lower due to this bug, the correct nurturing of the player is still the most important factor in whether they'll be successful.
Newgens are not effected by this issue.
This is still under review, and I hope you appreciate the need to ensure there are no knock-on effects before making a change and rolling out a fix.

Hi, this is an issue we are aware of where Determination stat is bumped down for players who do not have it set in the db.
We have made some tweaks in this area already but will continue to do so.

Hi @bluemooncheese,
Have you got a save game from just before your intake comes through? (And ideally 3 months earlier when your youth intake preview becomes available too)
If so, could you upload it for us to have a look at please? Instructions below.

This level of drop off is definitely an example we'd like to have a look at in more detail. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that would've caused this.
If you still have a save available from before the decline started, could you upload to our cloud service, please?
