The entire point of my post was how the industry will not incur extra expenses when it’s not going to affect the bottom line. I would also imagine it’s a bit more complicated than simply saying that “the fan creators are better than the FM creators so let’s go hire them”.

That appears to be a bug. Whoever you have delegated to handle loans is not following instructions. for what it’s worth, I’ve noticed this year that players loaned as fringe players can quickly get regular starting time if they are good enough.

Because the video game industry no longer cares about putting out the best product. It’s not profitable to blow your load sooner than later. it’s far more profitable to to keep development costs suppressed and eke out incremental changes every year because we will all buy the game regardless. I don’t say this as a criticism, it’s just a reality of the times. The industry has perfected cost/benefit. think about it. If I spent a billion dollars to create the absolute perfect game, you would buy it once. If I spent a billion dollars over twenty years to create a decently good game that releases every year, you would buy it 20 times.

I think you about nailed it. Turning pro isn’t going to turn around your fortunes overnight and there will be growing pains. It’s simply the first step in a long journey towards relevancy. Though it begs the question, what is your goal? If it is to perpetually improve your club’s reputation and continental standing, then you absolutely need to go pro. If you’re only happy to just compete for Luxembourg titles, you probably don’t need to go pro considering that more staff, training time, better scouting is pointless at that level. good luck, I love lower league saves!

Often times it is actually the player's own disinterest that causes the lack of loan offers. Think about it, if the player's agent tells that team that his player is not interested in a move under any circumstances, that team won't even bother making an offer.
