I seem to recall some fiasco called Brexit a few years ago. The global pandemic also was not represented. You can’t just wipe your hands of it and say that it should indefinite until real world events resolve, because SI has programmed their own version of the future into FM before.

In my little game world (and the real one), I hope for peace and prosperity for all. Does Russia ever get their FIFA and UEFA competition status back? I'm curious if there's any point to loading Russia into my save.

See next answer After your save is set up, click the FM menu, and go to "Detail Level", right underneath Add/Remove Leagues. There, you can set the match detail of every domestic club competitions for nation you loaded, plus all continental club and international competitions.

Hi there, PSU! JPeters here! This is definitely not OOTP and loading all leagues and players will crush your system. That’s the only drawback. Like it will get so slow by season two that it will take 24 full hours to sim one year.

I want to create a world where football clubs rise and fall due to their sporting merit, not their owners. I want to eliminate sugar daddies and prevent tycoon takeovers. Is there any way to accomplish this?

My corner taker is either footed. Is there any way to direct him to in-swing if the corner tactic shows him out-swinging?

I think this is an unfair and misleading poll. We're in beta and hardly anyone is actually started a long save. No one is going to put in any time to use the squad planner when they are just messing around until the full release. The results of this poll at this time is meaningless.

Update, this seems to only be an issue if the youth team is filled with greyed out players

This thread can probably be closed. I think the consensus is that there is NO difference other than expected wage demands which seems pointless.

I appreciate the effort, but I think you missed what I'm actually asking. Knowing that an asst-man can be assigned the exact same responsibilities as a coach, is there any reason to make a coach an assistant over a regular coach? The difference is not their responsibilities. I set the responsibilities AFTER I hire them. There is no such thing as "assistant manager" and "general coach" responsibilities. I hire them as a coach or an assistant manager, then I assign responsibilities. In English leagues, you can only sign one assistant manager so it doesn't really matter what the difference is. In German leagues, assistant managers and coaches come from the same limit pool, meaning you can sign 10 assistants and 0 coaches or 10 coaches and 0 assistants. So the question is, why would you hire one over the other, which you finally did with your very last sentence.

Now that's an actual reason! I did not consider that agents could possibly dislike you for failing to sign a player you were "interested" in.

What exactly is being balanced? If there is NEVER an incentive to give a realistic sense of your interest, if it is ALWAYS more beneficial to claim "very interested", what is the point of the feature??
