    Hurst is the obvious, and correct, answer. But I voted with my personal choice, the Gazza goal. Not only was it from Gazza, my favourite ever England player, but it was just ridiculous in terms of skill and execution, plus it was part of a tournament that meant so much to me as a football fan that I experienced in my lifetime.

    Agree, I think it'll take a few days and some of the bigger group games to really get the normal interest up. I know that most kids and staff in schools will probably miss the 1st England game, as nothing is planned to show it really.

    Just seems to be more of my football mates who are a bit meh about it compared to them usually buzzing for it start.

    Will miss most daytime games in the week due to work, will be able to catch most night games and a few at weekends too. Not sure if it's just me, but I and loads of my mates don't seem to be as hyped at all for this WC coming up compared to usual summer ones.

    Same...I had a subscription for years but ended it probably a good 5 years ago, maybe more. The quality just ended up being nowhere near as what I remembered it being like.

    Yes, I remember that well as it was a Sunday and the TV games were called off which everyone was gutted about. I fully expect no sport on this weekend, just a bit gutting but understandable of course.
