    The one that surprises me is the fact that Dan Burn missed out. He's been an absolute rock for 2-3 years for Brighton and then Newcastle, can play left-back or left of a 3 at the back. Personally, I'd have taken him in the squad ahead of Gallagher or Dier. The defensive side of our squad is a "**** the bed" moment away from disaster.

    So what the heck happens if 2 or 3 of the players suffer hamstring or concussion injuries this weekend? Are we allowed to call up replacements?

    Will watch the England games, but am the least excited about a World Cup or Euro's I can ever remember - and that is including the tournaments where England have failed to qualify.

    I wish I was working on Monday. The TV channels were already going to be horrendous, and I've just noticed that even the Sky Sports and Sky Movies channels are showing the bloody funeral. Thankfully, the forecast looks OK, so I might sit in the garden all day with a book and a beer. Unless that is being disrespectful, of course.
