But the thing is, currently in the game we have it is. People have been complaining about "Gegenpress being OP" for at least as long as it's been a style you can play in the game. This guy is at least offering a way for people who find the game too easy to have a challenge.

Boring content more like. Have you watched Loki Doki's videos? He's someone who knows how to play the game and have fun.

That's great and we need more of this. Please report bugs to try to get the game made better. But until it is we have the game we have and shouldn't we find ways to have fun playing it?

Yes I brought it up because I said you've been complaining about the game for years, which you refuted. If you say you're not complaining about the game then that's great, I'm really happy you're enjoying it. That's what it's there for. It does look a bit like it's complaining about the same thing as this thread to me though.

OK a very, very quick look at your post history bring me to this (please forgive me if it's out of context): To me shows that you've had this perception of the game being too easy for quite some time. Now that's fair enough, but do you really think that if it's been so easy for you for years it's going to change any time soon. Surely at this point complaining on this forum about gegenpress making the game too easy must feel like shouting into the void. Wouldn't it be a more enjoyable use of your time to find a way of playing FM that you find enjoyable or play one of those other strategy games with its better game design.

Plays the game using unrealistic tactics, complains when getting unrealistic results. Why not try and play the way Kilmarnock do in real life. Sure, you might end up bottom of the league but at least you'd be having fun right?

I couldn't agree more. It's an absolute cesspit of negativity. Go hang out in career updates threads where there are people who appear to be enjoying the game.

I see. Well it sounds like an interesting challenge to try and succeed without using a gegenpress. I'll be giving it a try until the next patch comes. Did you feel the same way about FM23? I certainly at times found that too hard and I was the too rated download tactics I could find. Are you still playing FM24? Are you getting any enjoyment out of it?

I do agree the game seems pretty easy just now. However I thought FM23 was a bit too difficult to have any success on, so maybe I should just enjoy it. I had look at the careers forum to see how people were getting on this time last year and there were people still massively overachieving, Maybe it's no different and it's just my choice of team. It still baffles me that the moaners on here complain that high press high line attacking tactics are overpowered, continue to use them, then throw the toys out of the pram when they win everything. If you don't like it try and win by staying away from the counter & counter press buttons.

Yes, I love a good fake players game. I remember I once signed Lewandowski but in that reality he was Greek. Last year I had a game in Iceland I was about half a season in to it before I realised I ticked the 'use fake players' button.

This issue is still persisting in the full release.

Who are you to say what is realistic? If a year ago you were told Neymar would be playing in Saudi Arabia for a trillion pounds a game you would be crying in your pants as it's so "unrealistic". You could argue any transfer that doesn't end up happening in real life is "unrealistic". I'm playing a game, I don't want total realism. I enjoy the quirky, mad transfers you sometimes see. I would like to see the Saudi transfers toned down but only because I preferred the world before they started buying football for all the money. I'm sure this will be alterable in the editor though so I'm not too bothered.
