Prez04
If I have taken control of a team that is semi-pro and do well with them and advance really far will the chairman ever decide to change the club to fully professional? Is there any way other than editors to make a semi-pro a fully pro club?
AndreTheShadow
When you get enough money and the stadium is big enough, I beleive the chairman makes you pro.
Prez04
Okay, and I'm not for sure I totally understand what I can't do when I'm sem-pro compared to fully professional...can anyone explain?
Neji
If in England, you will turn Pro upon reaching League Two. The biggest difference is having players on part-time contracts, instead of full time. That means less in terms of wages but also less training time. Grimoz
Yeah it will happen, as already said in England its when you reach league 2, finances play a big part.
CPS
Just got Montrose turned professional on promotion to Scottish Division 1. Quite time consuming signing all the players onto pro contracts, although I'm sure you could tweak your options so the Ass man does it.
Prez04
Okay cool. Good to hear about Montrose as I'm playing as Berwick. Thanks everyone
gcormack
i think if your bank balance reaches 2 million then you turn pro, but with berwick thats not very likely
pnefc22
No, i'm pretty certain you need to be in the right league and not just money. But of course you need money.
LukeOkeefe
When I reached League Two I became pro but I resigned because of finances.
